Truck was clean inside, but came with some damages on the outside (i.e. loose key cylinder on the drivers side that looks like someone tried to strip the lock, lose wooden plank board on the inside of the uhaul in the cargo space). Also mobile pick up was extremely frustrating and the GPS could not access our location in the app, although trying several different methods and different phones. I hope this glitch is fixed in the app soon. We tried over and hour to check in and lost out on moving time. Will be my first and last time using mobile pickup, especially at this location. Upon return, location building had no lights and we had to return the truck completely in the dark. Did not feel safe and it was hard to take pictures of the truck afterwards without proper lightly.

Improve app for check out had trouble with taking picture odometer. And also trying to put in numbers manually was an issue. Just charge flat fee and stop advertising 19.95 like it’s a flat fee and then adding on mileage at an additional cost for local use. Then was charge for less than an inch not past the quarter mark on the gas.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME RENTING FROM THIS PLACE!!! I rented a truck for moving, both houses are 6 miles apart and chose this location due to how close it was to both places. Upon arriving to uhaul location, nobody was there to assist with picking up truck. When the lady finally arrived which was after I arrived, she seemed to be in a quick hurry to get me out of there. NO instructions on drop off outside of where to put key, NO instructions on having to fill out info through text in order to confirm total milage used, if dropping off after hours, NO confirmation on license plate before leaving, and NO information regarding any fees, extra charges, etc. I was charged for driving 84 miles when I only did a one-way trip from old house to new house, and of course the 6 miles from Uhaul location to old house. When picking up truck, there was less than a quarter tank of gas left, which I replaced and even added a little more gas than what was in it. I drove a total of 27.2 miles and was charged 120.01 when in reality I was only supposed to be charged 62.07. I was also charged a convenience fee that was never advised to me by dealer. When calling to dispute the charges, lady was very rude and non-chalant about what was incorrectly charged to me. My card was charged 3 DIFFERENTI TIMES WITHOUT CONSENT OR INFORMATION FROM DEALER WHAT SO EVER. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION TO ANYONE!

As soon as I walked in the office; the young lady greeted me and immediately asked how she could be of service. She pulled up my reservation with ease and went over the lease thoroughly. The truck was brought around to me so all I had to do was pull out. I was in and out of the office within 10 minutes. The location was easy to get to and clean. Upon return; the same young lady greeted me, inspected the truck and I was headed back to my destination within 5 minutes. I would definitely recommend this location to any friends and family. Great truck selection, supplies and excellent customer service!

Hello.. my name is Kelly Smith.. I am furious with the fact that I picked up a u haul Saturday in Lithia Springs that had 17 thousand something miles on it and tank was in E.. I put gas in the van went to Villa Rica to get my clothes and came back to Douglasville. I dropped the van off Sunday and was told the van had 16 thousand something miles on it at check out .. that is not true and there is no way I went over 100 something miles just going to Villa Rica and back to Douglasville.

I love U-Haul they are my moving company I always rent trucks trailer and storage units because they are very reliable and many other locations great working vehicles and many more. I do know U-Haul has a pickup and drop off policy including the cleaning of the equipment used (vehicles) The only issue I had was the vehicle that I had was not clean inside and also in the back was not very clean. Just an FYI I have seen cleaner and used cleaner vehicles.

AGAIN, NO ONE AT LOCATION. HAD TO DO EVERYTHING ON A SMART PHONE. IF I DIDN’T HAVE ONE, I DON’T KNOW WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED. AGAIN, CALLED THE PHONE NUMBER ON THE DOOR, NO ANSWER. I WOULD REALLY, REALLY LIKE TO DEAL WITH A PERSON AND NOT TRUST THAT EVERYTHING GETS DONE OVER A TELEPHONE. IT TOOK US 30 MINUTES TO FINALLY GET THE RIGHT WEBPAGE TO CHECK THE TRAILER BACK IN.

She is always great to rent from and she also is considerate of the businesses around her by directing parking. The other owner came over to her and said thank you! He said he wanted to do that cause it’s easy to complain but he wanted to tell her she did a good job and was a witness. Very professional lady!

Rep was kind and swift. Truck had unused tampons in the bed of the truck. Didn’t want to touch them so kicked them to the back and sat my items in the middle. Easy drop off. Wish I would’ve known no storage came with my booking though, had to pay huge fee to store items 😞

First of all, I had a confirmed reservation. When I got there, No one was there. The door was locked. I called the number on the door and was put on hold for 7 minutes. I hung up and called back and was immediately put on hold again. This time for more than 10 minutes. When the lady finally got on the phone, she was not courteous and I pretty much had to do everything on my own.

I was asked if I wanted to return the vehicle to lithia springs or continue with my one-way trip and Bremen hwy 27 drop off reservation. I made it very clear that I would continue with my reserved drop off location in Bremen on Hwy 27. My drop off location was changed without my consent and without my knowledge by the U-Haul person. I reserved a one-way trip to drop off at hwy 27 in Bremen with a quote of $123. After repeated calls going unanswered and finally reaching a customer service rep, I ended up having to drive 34 miles PAST the drop off location that I reserved back to lithia springs and drop the vehicle off in a dark parking lot that has no parking lot lights. Which is in an unsafe location to begin with. In addition to this I had to pay extra for the milage difference because if I dropped it off at the location that I reserved I would be charged a fine for dropping it off at the location. Upon turning in the vehicle to lithia springs i received a notification that my payment of $149.xx was processed, however my card was charged $159.xx.

When I made the reservation, I signed up for truckshare however my reservation was confused with someone with the same last name as mine. This led to unneeded confusion and delays. I was supposed to pick up my truck at 7:45 only to be given the message by uhaul that I couldn’t get the truck until 9 when the facility opened. We arrived at the facility at 9:15 only for it to still be closed. After calling the local number, I was able to get the truck almost 2 hours later. Uhaul needs to ensure that the facilities they use for truckshare have the correct information and capabilities to provide timely services.

There is almost always an issue when renting from this location. Once my uhaul was given to another customer while I was on site trying to retrieve the keys for my rental reservation. Took 2 hours of my time to get another uhaul. We rent about every month and when I got to retrieve the key it is almost always not there no one is on the site and I have to make numerous calls and wait for callbacks just to get the key which can take 30 minutes to an hour to get the key for my rental. The trucks do not get checked for cleanliness. They are usually dirty and I have to remove trash from the back of uhaul on a couple of occasions. This last rental again had to get assistance to retrieve the key, garbage in the back of the truck, cab was filthy, the truck ruck was returned on time, and not checked in by EHR Solutions until the next day when I received a call asking had I returned the uhaul, and I was charged for two days. I am spending way too much of my time and paying helpers while standing around waiting for uhauls that I placed a reservation for. This location is convenient, but service is poor and lacking.

They changed my one way rental without my knowledge and made me drive back over an hour and half to return the truck. . They were 30 minutes late opening up for my pickup. Did not honor my reservations even though I had an email confirmation. Over charged the rental and did not honor their cap on drop off miles. Very bad experience and I will never rent from them again.

he posted hours of this location being open are misleading due to the staff utilizing call forwarding to respond and communicate with the renter. The female worker/employee would call and text from her personal number and, in my case, discriminated against me personally for errors in the mobile app. I was also threatened and under authorized charges were made multiple times to my bank account while I had the vehicle even though a $100 deposit was taken out for my reservation.

Worst U-Haul experience Ever. Rented a 10’ Moving Truck on 8-6-22. Total cost $554.00 if returned with same gas and under mileage. Truck returned under mileage and more gas when i picked it up. First issue: was told 48 hours before pick up will not be at location i choose, when booked on line. The new location was way out of the way on other side of town. I was advised someone would be present at the location to assist. Get to the location and door is locked, call number on door, to be told have to get key out of lockbox. Told will receive a credit for $23.38 due to no gas in truck. Truck was dirty on the inside and looked like it had been sitting for sometime. Return Truck on 8-7-22 under mileage and more gas in truck. My Credit Card was charged $574.75. Called original location on 8-9 spoke with a “Q” ask why charge the amount, he stated i can not tell why you was charged more and that you have to call the location that you dropped truck off at. This location doubles as a tax service, very unprofessional when you call, will be caring on a full conversation with someone else, and not addressing you as the customer. Second issue: Go into location of drop off and speak with assistant manager Eddie Wilson III, advised him of over charge and he advised me to call the location that i got the truck from, i advised him just talked to Q and told me to speak with this location. Eddie looked at contract and state you are right does not make sense why you was charged more. You have to call corporate office , provided me with the number of 678-608-4146 called corporate office while in the U-Haul location and had phone on speaker. Spoke with a “Diamond” stated same thing now sure why charged more, can not help me. I ask to speak with manager, she stated manager is on Vacation. I said ok, let me speak to someone that is in charge.. Said no one.. WOW no one i can talk with about my money. Eddie then stated let me she what i can do and issued the refund for $23.38, i advised him at the time should be more.Total charge should have been $554.00 given credit of ($23.38)= $530.62 Charged on Credit Card $574.75 Total refund should be $44.13 $574.75 -$530.62=44.13 He said that is all i can do. 8-16-22 No refund issued to my Credit Card. I go into the location and speak with Eddie Wilson again. Advise him no refund. He says you have to call you bank. I said i have and they are not showing it. Eddie states i see what happened “ corporate rejected it” not sure why. Stated i can issue another one and will take 5-7 days. Advised him already spent too much time on this and what if rejected again. Eddie stated then you have to call corporate office in Phoenix AZ. I said can’t you call them now to find out why..Eddied stated no.. I advised you are the assistant mgr, you should be able to call them and find out why rejected. Total lack of management and ownership to get issue resolved. Continued to pass the buck and refer me to call someone else. I booked a reservation for a uhaul at the time of my arrival I paid my $80 fee. I was charged an extra $29 randomly after dropping off the vehicle a hour early. When I called to ask about it I was told “we don’t go over transactions after hours” in which if that’s the case I can understand. However this experience put a bad taste in my mouth due to the usual activity. Still working on figuring out my extra charge.
