This location saved my hide the morning of my reservation. I accidentally went to the wrong location and they helped transfer my reservation so I did not have to get a Lyft cab to travel to the other locale. Computer system was not working. They could not find reservation. Ordered dolly and they said they did not have one. Had no pins available for hitch to purchase. Make it more clear when what you originally requested for check out options changes. I was frustrated because I was expecting to be able to speak with a real person at the Uhaul pickup site, and when we realized that the two dollies I had reserved were not in the truck, we were frustrated to realize there wasn't anything we could do because the location was closed from Saturday to Monday.Austin S.

Location was a bit tough to find. My brother-in-law happened to see a truck down at the end of the building. If he hasn't seen that, we'd have been driving around for a bit!Dustin B.

I thought I reserved at a different location so I was very disappointed when I showed up at such a small location. They didn't have anything I wanted besides the truck. No dolly, furniture pads, boxes. Would not pick up at this location again. It would be an ok drop off.Meagan C.

Apparently there are two drop off locations right next to each other and it's easy to confuse the two- especially after hours. Even after parking the truck next to 2 other trucks after hours and talking to three different people about where the truck was dropped they continued calling for three days to see if we dropped the truck off. Don't know if this happens often but it was frustrating.Peter B.
Uhaul's customer service failed to provide me important information when I specifically requested it. I got to the location and they didn't have the unit I specifically asked for.Yvonne A.
Stopped at Uhaul location, but was told I had to go to another one. I got to the other location but they didn't have the sofa covers. So after getting the truck, I had to go over to the first location to get the covers. Then when I filled up the tank before dropping it off, I found that the tank was not actually full when we picked it up. It looked like it was. I have pictures to prove it. These two reasons is why the poor rating. Otherwise it was a good experience.Jamie Z.
I rented a trailer to go one way for one day. They charged me for three days and the guy said they will refund you when you drop it off. They had the drop off location wrong and he couldn't fix that either. When I dropped it off the lady got on the phone and they refunded me $20? The young man who helped me went out of his way to make sure my rental was ready and accessible even though Minneapolis had over 12 inches of snow the previous evening. They even contacted me to make sure that I understood their lot was snow covered and their plow service had not been through yet. They had the car dolly inside overnight to prevent it from being buried in the snow. The service was prompt, friendly and went way beyond what we required - I would highly recommend this location and in particular their staff for their excellent service and help.Gerald G.

Being that it's located just BEHIND the U-Haul store that is easily seen, it's a little strange. I live in south Minneapolis, so that's why the N/A on the "recommend". But it did have the truck I needed on a very short notice, and everyone was super nice. Thank you!Dawn U.

Arrived at 9:00 to pick up my rental. The woman was roaming around the parking lot. She came into the building and started writing up my order at 9:15 and I told her that I was moving my daughter to St. Cloud State University. I was charged for 170 miles. I live less than a mile from the Uhaul location. There is no way we put on 170 miles on that truck. Not sure if the previous customers mileage was added to our bill. Not right!!Renee H.
odd location in a business strip with only a small sign on the door. Check in was okay but then the women was giving incorrect information on how to hook up. If I hadn't called my husband to drive over and look the trailer would have detached!!ANN L.

The roof of the truck had a leak. Rain water soaked my mattress. This was extremely disappointing. I will be filing a claim. I understand that U-Haul recommends bagging all items and they say their trucks are water-resistant, not waterproof. Regardless, I expect more. I will consider other truck rental companies before U-Haul in the future.DANIEL P.
The truck we rented must have been used to store dollies. It was not a big deal to take them out so I could put my own stuff in, but I had to make an extra trip back to my house to pick the up before I could return the truck, so it ended up costing me $2 or so. Like I said, not a big deal, but it cost me time and money.Patrick T.

The location was not clearly marked. Actual address was not as listed on Uhaul's communications. Nobody checked over the trailer when I brought it in. I was simply told to drop the trailer at the end of the lot and they would take care of it. This was not unexpected based on my experience when obtaining the trailer. It seems no one checks over the equipment before, or after, it is rented. Again, the drop-off location was changed during my rental. It looks like Uhaul uses their customers to transfer their equipment to where it is needed, not where convenient for the customer. Why offer me the choice of location if it is going to be changed after I pick up the equipment? Overall, I am not too impressed with Uhaul and would not use them again if I had any other choice.Michael K.

I came earlier than they were prepared for me and the normal counter person was at lunch. Someone else started the paperwork for me until she returned. The one problem we had was trying to get the trailer off our hitch at the drop off location. There should have been more instruction on that when they were told we had never towed anything before. (I didn't realize that there was info in the pamphlet about how to unhook the trailer until I was filing the paperwork later.) Just make sure the renter is aware. Thank you.LYNN S.
