It seems like UHaul is a side business to the owner's Storage Units and Futures day trading interests. Not a lot of room to maneuver equipment. Road access is poor as you are required to head southbound (one way) on Metcalf. Also, to UHaul in general. The requirement to upload photos of a driver's license will likely be a deterrent for me to do business with UHaul in the future. Identity security is a concern.

The guy operating the location was a jack ass wouldn’t let me verify he hooked the equipment up correctly on my own vehicle while I was on site

While I appreciate the truck being clean and having a full tank of gas I did not appreciate the customer service or lack there of. I requested extra miles due to my pick up location changing and was told, “We don’t do that.”. While I was going through the rental procedure I had to wait two separate times as the attendant devoted his attention to a customer who showed up AFTER me simply to drop off equipment. Overall a very poor customer service experience.

First of all, the location was fantastic, so please do not take my comments against them. It was a weekend so they were out. When it comes to cleanliness, there were lots of mud in the cab part of the truck, but not a big deal. However, you HAVE to do something about the online check-in and check-out. It was HORRIBLE! I waited 20 minutes both times and had to make multiple phone calls because NOTHING was working. I was on a tight timeline, so it made the experience awful. PLEASE fix your app and tools!

Forgot my moving blankets on my 24/hr pickup. Made moving more difficult. Suggested solution was to drive a 50 minute round trip to another store. Had to wait and speak to representative to get charge removed. Stay away from 24/hr pick up when renting equipment.

He wasn’t very friendly when we got there. There wasn’t any accessories for the trailers. Ad to go down the street to Walmart to purchase an adapter. Only one trailer available.

We were in a jam needing a last minute truck. It is a busy week with colleges so there weren’t any trucks anywhere. The owner was so nice and accommodating and really helped us out of a bind and made the process so easy. I would definitely recommend using this location.

We will never rent from Uhaul again. We returned the equipment to the chosen facility (nearest our home - and confirmed via email from Uhaul). Now because someone at a different facility (30 minutes away) has rented the equipment we are being charged a return fee. It is unacceptable to charge us for returning our equipment to the correct facility.

I did a 24 drop off on a Sunday. The business was closed, however I received a receipt and confirmation of the turn in within a couple of hours of dropping it off. Very satisfied with being able to do that and not have to call on Monday to confirm.

the owner is completely unhappy with his situation.. he keeps daytrading apps open on his screens.. he was inconvenienced by me being there to pick up a truck. The owner believes that renting u-haul trucks is below him...

The windshield wipers were in terrible condition and the washer fluid pump was not operable. This made driving in the winter weather a challenge to say the least

My experience was just ok. Everything went fairly smoothly but I do wonder if I got tricked on the mileage. I was told that the gas tank was full when I picked up the truck so I needed to fill it when I was done. Gas ended up costing me twice as much as I thought - shouldn't have been much for this quick in-town job - so I did the math and if the guy was honest about how much gas was in the tank when I started, I got less than 4 miles to the gallon! It's possible...but I feel doubtful. Plus, if you use this location, you should make a firm decision beforehand about whether or not you want to add insurance. I told the guy no, that I didn't want it, 2 or 3 times and he kept saying, "ok, so you do want it? Oh you don't? I would get it. Are you sure? You won't have anything covered if xyz happens. So was that a yes, then? You do want it?" Finally I gave in because I felt like I must be missing something. I'm still not exactly sure what the insurance I bought actually covered.
