The UHaul hosted software was defective and servers were unresponsive, causing the checkout to take two hours. All on Corporate.

Terry LWORST LOCATION! There should be better instructions on how to get there because the address given by U-HAUL leads to the middle of nowhere, literally in the middle of the woods. I spent over one hour driving around back and forth looking for this place. Called customer service and the robot said wait time less than 5 minutes but nobody ever answered, even after holding 35 min for someone to pick up the phone. I was stranded in the middle of nowhere trying to return this truck and there was no help from U-HAUL whatsoever. As they would charge me if I delivered the truck one hour late I should also be compensated for wasting over one hour of my time driving around looking for this place and not even having the support I paid extra $15 for. Very bad experience!
Giovanna BI will never do business with U-Haul again. The location I where was sent to pick up my reserved trailer did not have it. I had to go to a different location to get a junk trailer that should be retired. Terrible business practices!
Timothy CAfter driving for 1 hour to the drop off location, and passing 12 other Uhaul places with trucks. We finely found the place to drop off. We had even stopped at a Uhaul place we thought was it. But were told we had to drive 3 more miles to the drop off place. Why is it we have to drive all this way to the drop off when a Uhaul employee could do it. And then the drop off location charges me for driving 16 miles over the allot miles, we had to drive 40 miles to drop off.
Charles WThe drop off was not DD fault but I call U-Haul and they had me driving around to drop off truck not cool it was about 45 minutes and then someone don't know who charge me $22 WHY . Not Good

MIKE RMake sure your gps has the right address. Look it up by name. The location is tucked off the road and just a dirt lot. Big “No Spanish” sign is unwelcoming and makes you question the area.
Vincent LWe returned the truck in Florida to the worst location. Very unprofessional and dirty!!! Also the address was hard to find on the GPS!! The rep was on the phone and gave us poor customer service!!! She continued her phone call while we checked in and waited for her to send me a receipt!!! Y’all need to get a professional drop off location!!! This whole experience should be all good but the drop off location puts a damper on it!!!

PAUL HThis location is NOT in Haines City, it is Lake Alfred. I was sent around the world to three different locations by your incompetent joke for a customer service person. I will NEVER rent from U-haul again. I rent up to a half dozen vehicles a month for a variety of reasons, but will find another provider now. If I was going to rent it would only be from this location. The young lady there was pleasant and easy to work with. Not like the people at the main Lakeland location or the "I don't speak english" middle eastener at Bill's Market in Bartow.

DAVID PHave professional personnel instead of snotty young lady that would not even give me her name. Her attitude and demeanor were horrible. She should be trained in customer service.
Cesar SWhen we arrived, there were “friends” hanging out by the pick up counter. So unprofessional! We were never told prior to the day of pick up of items we possible might need like adaptors for the truck lights. They claimed they “didn’t have any more” of the item we needed so we had to run to the store during rush hour. The attendant argued whether they would stay [late] or not because we didn’t have the correct items. She also charged me for the time I picked up even thought the trailer was never attached to my truck until after 6:15 pm (reservation was for 5:45 pm). I understand I reserved for 5:45 pm but we arrived 10 -15 minutes prior, never expecting there to be an issue because this isn’t our first time getting a trailer or truck from the company. When we were ready to take the trailer back, I called 6 times over a 45 minute period. I was also unable to leave a voicemail because their mailbox was full. Luckily the attendant did call me back but still. We have used haul numerous times in the past! Never have I had so many issues!

David PThe customer service I received here was great! Very polite, they took the time to answer all my questions. They showed me how to properly use the equipment I rented. I have many uhaul locations in my area to rent from, but I will use this location exclusively in the future.
