The conditions of my uhaul were poor. Upon arriving to my location and opening the back, the conditions were filthy. We had to spend time cleaning the back of the truck prior to loading furniture because there was so much debris. The loading ramp was broken, and the experienced movers were unable to fix it. This led to dangerous conditions for them, as the ground was wet and they had to jump on/ off the truck. Highly disappointed

I had trouble getting thru the online check in process, but I called the 800 number and they did a fantastic job assisting me throughout the entire process! Not all the equipment I needed was ready. The owner was able to find 2 furniture movers for me, but no dolly. I was quickly refunded for the dolly when I returned the truck.

They were great. I explained how online I couldn't rent the uhaul for more than 24 hours and needed it all day Friday and Saturday. They worked with me and were able to get me what I needed so I was stranded.

Online approval to pick-up truck and get keys took close to 10 minutes. This is too long. Should be much faster.

Truck had 1/8 tank of gas. I had to fill with gas before leaving the location. I reserved a 15ft truck at a location closer to me but received a call the night before telling me I would need to go to another location farther away. No one inspected the truck or reviewed paperwork with me before leaving.

There were candy wrappers left in the vehicle that I felt obligated to throw away because I didn't want it to be a reflection how I maintained the vehicle. There was also a dolly left in the front seat and one was inside of the truck that led me to believe the vehicle was not inspected upon its return to that location. There were also blankets thrown in balls in the “moms attic” so I wasn't able to utilize that space.

The moving truck was on empty when I received it. I only had a short trip to perform. I only put 5 miles on the truck. I was charged about $10 more than quoted. Not a big deal...

The back of the truck smelled like there were wet dogs in the back and it was unbearable. The smell rubbed onto some of my furniture. The whole bottom of the truck was coated in dirt. It was disgusting. I would give it 1 star but I made it 2 because of the location.

Confusing process. I signed up for mobile check in and I had to end up speaking with the rude old man that ran the shop. When I dropped it off, the kid working the counter had no idea what to do. Very unreliable on both ends. Visor on driver side was broken and kept falling down, obstructing my vision and distracting me. Overall, would not rent from them again.

Check to make sure all the lights are operable. Get the equipment ready for the customer, as I had to move a trailer myself to access the dolly and fish around for the 4 flat pigtail. Not a big hassle for me but maybe a less experienced customer might have an issue.

The clerk did not review the rental agreement or go over additional fees nor explain there was a time had to return. Ridiculous that a $20 rental ends up being over $100 for going 16 miles. I will no longer rent from Uhaul and I will be sure to express my dissatisfaction on social media. What a rip off.

Please make sure that the owner is prompt with service and not working on something after he has taken your name and then lets you stand there to wait for him to get done doing something he just started working on. He was very crass too.

Though U-Haul pissed me off by changing the location for truck pick-up, the host (fortunately) loaded my entire reservation, including the auto hauler pick up later that day, because I wouldn't arrive at that location (Stan's Transmission) until after they closed. Having that "leg" reserved permitted me to pick up the auto hauler after hours.

This place is the BEST!! And am now making it my go- to auto shop for the owner's above and beyond customer service. I locked my keys in my car when we were returning one uHaul and he went out of his way to us his shop tools, in the rain, to get my door unlocked so we could go! A+++

I learned my lesson. This was the second time I rented from a "Uhaul is a sideline for us" location. I won't make the same mistake again. The first time the truck was a real clunker and should have been retired. This time the truck was double booked. I had to argue with them in a dirty gas station to give me the truck. I finally got it after agreeing to return it hours earlier than I expected to! From now on I will only rent from a location that is totally dedicated (and staffed by courteous professionals) to Uhaul.

I was charged for fuel that I did. It use. I put fuel in the tank based on the recommendation on the agreement. When I called the location, I told them that I took a picture of the gauge when I dropped off the truck. He argued with me but then when out to check. He told me that the person who reported the fuel amount made a mistake and I had just below 7/8 of a tank (not the amount they originally claimed was in the truck). 7/8 of a tank was the amount in the truck when I picked it up. I asked him how much for “a little below”. He said he would have to calculate and adjust my charges. It has been 4 days and I still have not received a refund. Also, I am extremely uncomfortable because this guy has my address. Please correct this issue immediately.
