MICHAEL E6x12 trailer needs tongue lift. It is too heavy to one person lift off ground to hitch height.
TIMOTHY OStore wasnt open. We followed the instructions to a T but we're not given any codes to gain a lick to lock the back of the truck. The appliance dolly was left in the back, door closed but not locked. Concerned us but we did everything as instructed. We will be needing Uhaul trucks for several months to move one family then next year for the other family-

BRENT LClean the inside of the windshield. It looked ok until I turned into the sun. Then the haze and funk on the inside of the windshield was blinding. Other than that it was great.

SHELL BEvery time I try to rent equipment from U-Haul your computer system is down. Not once not twice, but now three times in a row when I rent the trailer, the retailers never have an option to do anything by hand because it's been taken away from them apparently. And as a customer, what happens is, I spent half my day waiting for the trailer, that I needed to start loading early in the morning. The gentleman and his customer service was fantastic. He was just unable to do anything because of U-Haul's computer system. Also, I think every trailer should be equipped with a jack that doesn't require somebody to lift it off by hand. 6 x 12 trailer I have is quite heavy. It could make changing a tire difficult in the middle of nowhere. that's just feedback on better design. Please address the computer system issues it really choosing to work time.
Alejandro SHorrible experience using you app with 24hr checkin. Took over 40 minutes of repeatedly having to enter information standing in the street by the truck that could mostly have been taken care of before I arrived from the comfort of my home. Worst user interface I've had to use in a long time. Unintuitive clumsy design. You customer service reps that I was messaging were inattentive and treated my glibly and lacked any notion of "service" or accountability. Pretty typical for you organization.

Glen AWhen I returned the auto transport trailer to this location the person working told me he would check in the equipment within the next half hour and that I would receive an email notification that the return was complete. 22 hours later I called uhaul since I had still not received any notification so the uhaul representative called the Dolores uhaul business and told them to process the return immediately. Within 20 minutes I did finally receive the return confirmation which should have been done the previous day.

john hI booked a trailer. My wife got Covid. I canceled the booking so I could take care of her. Once she was better I rebooked the same trailer for the same trip. Only to be charged double the fee for the exact same trailer and distance. I am very disappointed with uhaul for doubling my cost. When I need equipment trucks, trailers I have always used uhaul. JEAN MThe staff was very friendly and helpful, in fact they even helped change out my ball hitch to the correct size. The problem was the trailer. It had old wheel hubs and the driver side wheel came off while traveling down the highway. Fortunately, no one was injured. The loose rolling wheel went into oncoming traffic and it could have been very bad for them or us. So, to answer your question, what can you do to improve: do not send out unsafe, old equipment. I would recommend the personnel at this location, but it is not a good place to rent if it is too remote to maintain equipment.

ROY GAll is good but I got charged for 2 days when I used the trailer for 6 hours.
SHERMAN JIt came with less than 1/16 of a tank. I was anxious driving to buy gas. They must have hosed it out because we had water dripping out everywhere. We asked for help to dry it out and that wasn't our job but we did it and then we were returning gross wet packing blankets. On top of that, I had to drive back to get help when I pay for mileage.

Kerri WI wanted to return the trailer on a Sunday, when the dealer was closed. I was told a return anytime Sunday was fine, as long as the trailer was in inventory when they opened Monday a.m. I returned the trailer Sunday, but was charged for that day. When I followed up with the dealer he said there was an 'app' that I should have used to record the time returned. I was not aware of the app. He said it was sent to my phone, which I see I did receive, but I received 9 total msgs -both text and email- from UHaul & quit reading them because they all seemed to have the same information. Very poor communication on the part of the dealer in addition to just plain being wrong about when I could return the trailer without being charged an additional day.
JOHN BInstructions were unclear, reserved equipment was not provided, customer service was unhelpful. I will be requesting a full refund for this visit, and not booking with this company again. Uhaul doesn't value or respect their customers.

Mike OHorrible Experience!! I had to drive 2 hours to pick up my truck and auto transport! Uhaul systems down, waited another hour and a half to finalize and be able to leave. An entire day waisted!!! Had to rent a trailer to finalize my move!!!! Had to pick that up in a Delores CO and was told I had an extra day because of shortages, I was charged an additional $32.40. Penske is where I am going next move
