We have used this drop point for several rentals in the past three years. It is part of a retail building with several shops. Although not the closest location to our home, it has the most convenient hours of operation. Friendly staff.GARY M.

While I cannot confirm, I am fairly certain the man at the Dollar Tile store was trying to scam me for nearly 1000 miles of usage on the truck. He never went outside to confirm the gas or mileage of the vehicle upon pickup. He was extremely upset that I had reached out to Uhaul corporate to correct the mileage of the vehicle upon the beginning of the rental, which was the instruction of the link that I received, and the instruction of the online form when returning the rental. I am grateful that I had called Uhaul twice upon pickup, attempted to use the Chat function, took photos and sent emails to confirm mileage, and that I had called them before entering the store to drop off the keys, because my experience with him was very unnerving and certainly appeared that he was attempting to scam me for likely what would have been a thousand dollars, for a rental that should have cost about $50. I was waiting on hold for corporate because of the mileage issue and inability to check out online when I entered the store to drop off the vehicle, and he did everything from scold me, to try to leave without closing out the record, to threaten to call his "AFM", refuse to speak with the representative on the line, and leave the store to sit on the front stoop of the building while I was on the phone with the representative standing in front of his desk. He was combative, rude and quite frankly scary. Only did he close out the ticket when I told him that I had emailed photos of the dashboard and mileage and gas to corporate, I assume to end any further lashback to himself. The representatives I spoke to at corporate were great, and even waited on the phone with me to the very end of the call until I had entered my own vehicle to leave, but I will never go back there.Jensen G.

Online check-in option was below average as there is very limited cell reception in the area for T-Mobile. Had a really hard time connecting, and the app kept dropping the connection and it did not allow me to add pictures for anything other than DL and my face as the app was having so much trouble staying connected (I had to re-sign in like 20 times), the gas tank was empty and there was no option to note the fuel level on pickup, and no option to take a photo of the vehicle to verify damage, or status, and cleanliness before leaving, and the appliances dolly we ordered was not in the truck, so we had to drive 4 hours through rush hour traffic to another location to pick one up after contacting customer support, and the Trailers light connector on the truck was faulty and caused us tons of issues on the trip, the truck needs a new 6-pin connector for the trailer lightsEarl M.

I went to the location. Was told my drop off location would be emailed to me. I never received the email. I called multiple times the next day and didn't get a hold of anyone until 2 hours later. They had a smart a** remark to say I should know where to drop off because Uhaul should've emailed me and they are not responsible.Joshua C.

horrible customer service, rented a uhaul and the employee stated they only rented out trucks for 5 hours. i told them online stated 24hrs. he refused to give me the truck unless i changed my contract. Once i had the truck the employee kept texting to to bring it back by 8pm note I picked up the truck at noon. he sent 10 text messages VERY unprofessional. Very sketchy don't give this place your money find another location.Nikolas G.
Check in using phone was horrible. Website was slow and clunky and it took 45 min to get it done. Drop off was slightly better but not significantly. Will likely not use uhaul again and will go with Penske, Home Depot, etc.Jeff W.
Working with Mike at Dollar Tile was ridiculous. He had no idea we rented a car hauler/trailer and all he talked about was how lucky we were to actually get the truck we reserved because most people weren't. He said Amazon and FedEx have rented all their trucks and kept going on about how people were nearly going to beat him up to get our truck that we reserved. It was so unprofessional and off-putting. He overcharged us quite a bit and I'm still waiting to see if it gets corrected.HEATH S.

Our experience with the process was not a good one. The Dollar Tile store manager was unwilling to help when we were trying to pick up the trailer and was extremely rude. The U-Haul truck was not the truck we request. (The reservation was for a 20' truck and a 15' truck was waiting.) On top of that, the key was not left for us. We reached out to U-Haul, only to have several dropped calls and to be placed on hold for more than 45 minutes. All told, it took TWO HOURS to finally get in touch with someone who could help us. This was completely unacceptable, especially since we were on a time crunch to move. We were grateful to finally have been put in touch with a U-Haul representative who got us a truck, but it shouldn't have taken the time and effort that it did.Branyon M.
It was horrible service. The man told me not to use the mobile app because he can do it himself so he can over charge me! The van had barley any gas when I got it and the man did not tell me I had to tell him anything. He just gave me the key. Poor service and it was my first time getting a U-Haul. Have the truck there when I had it reserved and I want someone to contact me ASAP! When I was told that they would leave the key for me to pick up the truck, there wasn't a key anywhere. Made our reservation on line. Was told they'd be open til 6. While en route at 4:30 Rec'd a call from location and said they were already closed by that he would text me with the truck number and to take the only car dolly out there. In the text he are the instructions on how to retrieve the key out of the key box. Upon arrival we find the truck parked off to the side and the dolly sitting across the parking lot from the truck. Open the truck to find it has trash throughout the cab. Open the box portion to find it has dirt and broken tile laying in it. I hook up the dolly to the truck to find it doesn't have a pig tail. Walked around the other trailers to find a pig tail. I hook everything up and start the truck to find it has an 1/8 tank. Not the best experienceâ€¦it did become comical at some point.Raul T.

Truck was clean and perfect in every way. The person at dollar tile was not the nicest at all. The owner placed a call in his messy shop to someone after I walked in and was greeted. He then proceeded to help a tile customer that came in after me and only gave me my key after she pointed out I was first. I rented off the website and this location was where it sent me. To get the truck I was on a timeline and wound up needing the truck 2 extra days due to unforseen circumstances. Shop owner called to see if I was going to be back in time when I had tried to call and rent the truck an extra day. He was pushy and I had to get stern. When I returned the truck the owner was less than kind also. Wore no mask, was dismissive and rude. Maybe he had a bad day, but he treated me like an inconvenience. I would never buy tile from the guy for sure. The rental went without issue and I was charged appropriately and fairly. I was not impressed by the shop owner. Uhaul was excellent otherwiseJason H.

Very rude , guy nmae mike was a horrible person to desl with , he would not help me in any type of way had an attitude everyone time i would go to the location and also had a aggressive attitude with branch manager on the phone about my rental . Have key available in lock boxes. I was unable to access the key and the location was closed, so I had to wait until the next day to get my truck that I already paid for. I ended up being behind schedule because of this inconvenience, and it costed my time and gas due to driving out 13 miles. Originally, I was supposed to pick up a Uhaul at the Ben White location, but they did not process my reservation correctly, so I was unable to pick up after hours. When i called uhaul, they sent me to the Dollar Tile location only to go through what I just mentioned. The entire experience was disappointing since I had my reservation at 5pm but didn't even end up going back home until around 7pm. Waste of time and gas. During check in I was directed to the wrong truck, during a rain storm. I eventually found the correct truck by walking around the parking lot and trying the key in each truck. The correct truck had both check engine light and tire pressure lights on. Upon returning the truck, the manager didn't appear to care much about the situation. 1-800 team did seem to care and was very helpful.Clifton J.

I will never rent from U-Haul again. The customer service I received was pitiful, and as a paying customer I am outraged. U-Haul messed up on their end and would not make it right, even tho right on my reservation page, it says $50 guarantee this will be ready and on time for you, but that's FALSE advertising. Why would you allow a location to rent 24/7 and advertise this service, if the location is not set up as a 24/7 location. That's what happened to me. I booked online and it says 24/7, when I got on site on location was closed and I was unable to check in. After waiting on hold for 45 minuets for someone from U-Haul to pick up, the said this is not set up for 24/7, and the location is about to open so I can just wait. Well that was not correct either, the location was closed on Sunday and you guys had the wrong info. I wasted over an hour sitting at a location only to be hung up on by a customer service associate ans was told it was my fault that it wasn't ready because I booked for a place that wasn't open, and the $50 credit wouldn't be applied to me. . Well I hate to break it to you, but this was t my error. If you advertise 24/7 rental and show on the website that location is 24/7, why would that be my fault for booking?? It was U-Haul a for not having correct information. I was hung up on, and told to another location. So I started driving to the new location. Then a couple minuets later I was called back and told don't go there I can't get my rental there, go to this 3rd location. I then again was very upset and asked to be compensated for all this trouble and time that U-Haul messed up on. I have movers that are sitting here without a truck that are charging me, you wouldn't honnor this â€œ50$ guaranteeâ€ thay was plaster all over your website and reservation page now I'm going to a 3rd location, only to be told by the customer service representative with Extreme disrespect thatâ€ she was calling me out of courtesy, and she could have let me drive all the way to place number 2, but she decided to call me as a favor so I could go to place number 3â€ I'm sorry but that is the worst customer service and treatment I have ever received!!!!! I will never from You again. Shame on this company for not making my experience right. You need to get your company some training on how to treat customers.Laila R.

I was charged for furniture pads, which I didn't receive, when I got there I was treated poorly because I didn't come pick it up the day before my rental - which no where in my contract did it say that was possible. No one was physically there to assist, Mike made things overly complicated and then just kept repeating â€œwe're closed on Sunday's.â€ The dolly's I preordered a week in advance...none were ready. And the whole reason I rented from this place was to use a 20' truck...then when I get there, I'm informed they don't have it and I have to use a 15' truck which makes things VERY complicated to move a fully furnished apartment. I would never recommend them to anyone. And will be disputing my charges for the furniture pad.Bridget G.

The text I received did not indicate you had to go into dollar tile for Uhaul. There were several businesses in the Centre, 1 with Uhaul on the door. Door was open but no one there. Finally found someone to tell us we had to go into dollar tile. Need better texted information about the drop off locationAlisa D.

He does not represent your company. He added almost 100 miles to the speedometer and said it has more gas than it did. When I confronted him he claimed he was fixing it and sending me an email to update. He never changed it nor sent me any email. The truck still had some of his crates in the back when I arrived. 2 hours into my trip the passenger window exploded, we believe due to it being off track. U-Haul couldn't take care of until the next day, so we had to make a 12 hour trip with no window, we could tasted U-Haul customer service and they were supposed to get someone to call us within a few days . No one ever contacted us! I chose U-Haul because of convenience and it made my trip worse, starting from the pick up which I reserved and they didn't have my vehicle, which made me have to go to this other location! My experience With U-Haul pick up and customer service was horrible!!!Paula F.
Mike, who assisted me, was extremely rude and unprofessional. He seemed upset because I was 20 minutes late picking up the trailer. I told him I was running late because the email I received from uhaul had a different address to pick up the trailer. He didn't want to hear it. He wanted to charge me $20 to help me hook up the trailer. I thought that was a little pricey so I hooked it up myself. I've rented trailers from uhaul and the employees have always helped me hook up the trailer and never charged me so I thought it was odd. Attitude friendliness professionalism this was the worst experience I have had with U Haul. He doesn't represent your company at the level you desire. He lied to me about changing the hour to return trucks and didn't communicate that I would have a return late fee. The trucks were not clean smelled like manure and the cabs were muddy and food on the floor. I will share with Social media that his laziness and demeanor was unacceptable and argumentative.Ledene F.
Make sure instructions for mobile pick up and clearly explained BEFORE the pick up time. Have a back up option for when a phone cannot verify location. I was at the location and my phone couldn't verify, even the location services was turned on. I called the general 1-800 number and while I was on hold, the reservation timed out. The location didn't offer another pick up time until 13 hours later. The person who answered the phone transferred me to a number that wasn't open because it was outside of normal hours. The only option the machine gave me took me straight back to the original menu I had called, so the whole phone call was pointless. I had many other issues during the pick up, but long story short, it took two locations and at least an hour and a half before I could drive away with the truck I'd reserved. This was very early in the morning and it set back all my moving plans for the day.Ryan L.
