Terrible U-Haul customer service. No one answers the phone at U-Haul. I was charged for insurance even though I declined coverage. There was no one at the pick up or drop off locations.James H.

Everyone outside of Uhaul was great. The dealer who had the boxes and the shipper for the boxes were amazing and very helpful but dealing with anyone directly at Uhaul was worthless. Even when calling almost every other day for updates the boxes were still shipped out a day later than expected. The two boxes we got were also different sizes and much smaller than advertised on the website.Anthony C.
First off I was called at 7pm the day before and was told no one will be there to install the trailer to my vehicle, I have rented a trailer before and never had this issue... I'm a single woman and the trailer was not leveled it was on a hill and there was no jack to get the trailer up on the hitch !!! I had to use a cement block I found ....Arianna P.

With Covid going around and uhaul making a big deal about clean trucks, I would say this location failed miserably. There was a bag of peppers and sardines left in the truck in 100 degree temps...needless to say, the truck smelled terrible. The entire interior of the truck was filthy and sticky. I had to use 15 wet wipes to clean the truck, the steering wheel alone took 5 and were black. The back of the truck had dirt throughout. The equipment I rented was not inside and I had to go to a location 15 miles away to pick it up on my mileage dime and fuel bill. Terrible experience. Going to call to discuss discountseric C.
The process of renting a truck is very complex now. It requires a vast amount of personal information. There must be a way to simplify the process.david K.

I was rather confused about pick up location. I was given two locations, I called and was told to go to one , then after I picked the vehicle the first location called me asking if I was still comingMichael I.
I was literally robbed by Dana at this location after returning my equipment clean on time and with more fuel than was necessary I spoke to Dana whom told me to drop the key off and he would deal with it.. well a few days later my bank alerts me I've been charged $170 I call DLD to be hassled after saying I would come show him proof he stated he made a mistake more like a con..after calling corporate he acknowledged his wrong doings to them but a week later he charged my card again and now I need helpElijah H.

BEWARE, Very rude and incompetent. I called Uhaul so I could get another 5x7 trailer from another dealer. The next closest one was a hundred miles away and told me to go back and get that one. Said the guy was waiting for me. Not only was he not there when I returned, he wouldn't answer his phone. So Uhaul had me put it on my hitch myself without paperwork. I'm 69 years old. Was charged a different price than what was quoted. Said the manager from that area would call. No call. The dealer I dropped it off was very nice and professional. She put a notation in the computer for Northern California manager to call me again. Still waiting for that call also. Needless to say I'm not HAPPY WITH UHAUL or their customer service.Richard C.
I filled out the express check out and when I arrived, it was more less set up as help yourself. The one worked could not find the right key and we ended up wasting 45 minutes which greatly effected our day light time for the work we had to do with the truck. I also requested an 8:00 Pickup and ended up getting a mid day time which was not good.Kevin G.

Get rid of this Uhaul location! Its gated, no people to run it & inconvenient if you do not have a smart phone and a lot of time on your hands! The process to get this rental location averages 1 hour 45 minutes and this is on top of a phone reservation call. If you do not have the Uhaul app on a smartphone and are not familiar with communicating virtual - this is not the place to rent. We ran into a younger couple returning their truck with the same issues. Never again they said! You also are expected to clean all the vehicles inside and out which is unreasonable for trucks and out in this area where there are no truck car washes to take the rentals. You are not communicated this verbally when you rent the truck or on your text messages or emails. Its probably somewhere on the contract in tiny print. Very unreasonable and disappointing to see this as a $25 charge on my invoice upon return.Christine E.

Getting through the gate code and then finding the lock boxes was hard. Then the property owner was a jerk to us. I don't think he likes having the U-Haul business there. As if he wasn't told ahead of time.Geoffrey S.

arrived and truck that was mine was assigned to someone else...not sites fault i guess. When going through bill there were extra charges. Original bill was from another customer's. Final bill was paid and had additional charges next day. My complaint is that I had to do follow up on these and these issues consumed MY time. All was eventually worked out...richard P.

BEWARE!!! To start off when I picked up my truck they didn't want me to fill out an inspection form for damages, I very smartly took a video before I took delivery of it just in case, so glad I did!! When I dropped off the truck, after hours, I got a call 2 days later about damage that was there and I needed to pay for it, but my video proved it was damaged before me, so the cleared me of that, then I get my bill emailed to me, and they charged me for $137 in gas, which I had proof the truck had the same amount of gas as I did when I took it. Again they took care of it by sending me a new bill showing the original amount but a "Cash" refund back to me, hmmmm, If I wasn't there to get said cash who did it go to???? I've been fighting with them for almost 2 months for this money back!!! They refuse to pay me my money!!! I was in retail before, I know that at the end of the day you have to balance your money at the end of the night, you were over by $137, The manager says he can't pay me and I have to get it from Uhaul corporate, and corporate won't pay it. I tried to dispute it with my bank and since they screwed me on my invoice with the "CASH" back, my bank won't refund it either. What a joke!!! looks to me like they damaged the truck before I got there, and I unfortunately have to pay for it one way or another!!!! This place is a joke!! stole my money!!! Thieves!!!Justin R.

The people in charge of the U-Haul rental were absolutely fantastic to me. I had several issues and had to cancel twice because of the movers and they were so understanding and accommodating. Once I even called crying because the movers had just canceled on me an hour before I was supposed to pick up the truck and they were just so very kind I would definitely recommend these people to anyone who has to move.annette L.

Took 1/2 hour just to get checked out. Came to return the truck during business hours but gate was closed with my personal vehicle locked behind it. Passenger side mirror was loose and would not stay adjusted. I fixed it when I got home but hard to drive when you can't see whats on your right side in a big truck.rick R.

Do not use Roseville. Had reservation there. When i arrived no truck, rude person did not apologize but told me to go to "hub" and gave wrong directions. When i tried to get that$50 refund was told there was no record i went to roseville. Use penske for one ways.sherri M.
