Reserved a truck in advance. Received an email three hours before pickup stating they did not have a truck available. Only a cargo van was offered to me. I got a confirmation to rent a truck from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. was called the day before had that lives two hours picking the truck up at 8 then rushing to get it back by 2 for the next person and nobody even rented the truck out. The lady that called me Friday before my move was super rude to me acted like my reservation meant nothing. Not only was I stressed out from moving to my new house but having to deal with U-Haul people was not a very pleasant experience. I tried for over an hour to return the keys to the 24/7 app and if someone would have just said that it was in my text message it would have been super easy but what a pain in the butt. The salesman that I pick the U-Haul up from said he didn't even care and disliked U-Haul what he was the one giving me the key. It's crazy in this day and age what workers you get. I can't believe you haul allows them to talk that way to customers renting trucks.ANTHONY R.

Problem is not with the location, although they were not very friendly. I was charged for 2 days when I returned the van on the same day. I disputed the charge online but the excess cost was still applied to my credit card.Beth J.

The Location was fine, but I was supposed to pick up my trcuk at 12:30pm. When I got there, the truck had not been returned yet. They called the previous renter and they were still 2 hours away. The truck did not arrive until 4:45 and the placed closed at 5. I had to rush through the process and the truck has a full rail missing on the outside (from front tire to rear tire) and a hole in the back top of the drives side wall near the back. This was not shown when I was sent the text and to save time, I was told they knew about the damage and to just move forward with the text. THEN, as I was pulling the car out of their lot, I get the text that says my rental was due back in AN HOUR! I was supposed to have a 6 hour rental. I know the return of the rental is not your fault, but I lost 4 hours of day light and had to pack and unpack my stuff in the dark. The previous renters should be charged to compensate me as instead of finishing Thursday around 6, I was still working in the dark at 11.William P.

This was my second location. My first location that I reserved and was guaranteed the equipment was available, was closed and unavailable. I had to change me reservation to this location were it went smoother.Christopher A.
I was told to return the truck at 2pm. I arrived at 1:50pm. No one was at the site. I had to figure out how to login, reset passwords and return the truck online by that time it was 2:13pm. Following day, I get notification that the site tried to charge for a full additional day for being 13 minutes late. Plus, I was told the same truck was being Immediately picked up...hmm double billing?REBEKAH P.
We had ordered a dolly and furniture pads. They said they were not there, they didn't provide them and gave us a credit for them. When we insisted we needed them, they said they had them in the store and provided them. One of the pads was filthy. Very confused and confusing.Steven R.
The front desk attendant was very short and did NOT want to listen to any of my concerns about the truck. Here is a short list of things I simply wanted to make them aware of but they didn't have the time or interest: 1) The "change oil" light was on 2) The truck was FILTHY. There were nuts, bolts, washers dirt etc all over in the bo, the cab had debris all over and the windshield was borderline not safe because it was so dirty. 3) I reserved a dolly and pads, yet when I got there to pick up the truck they told me they did not have any of them (I could have made alternative plans if I had known earlier). I agreed and took the truck anyways, just to find out that there was indeed a dolly free-rolling in the box of the truck.ROBERT S.

Your online reservation really sucks. I will never recommend uhaul to anyone anymore. I own a large storage company, and a lot of people ask for referrals, not anymore unless Uhaul fixes the misery they put me through just for a fricken rental. Perhaps my lawyer will understandâ€¦..Richard E.

It would nice to know if... if I pay for a dolly, needed to move expetrmely heavy objects by myself, that I am actually able to get a dolly when i pick up the truck. I was charged the 10 dollars.. and then told I'd get a refund which I still have not received.. and had to spend 3 hours of my morning looking for another place that has a dolly. Esp seeing as... i would not have rented the uHaul if I had known i wasn't going to have a dolly. I rented the truck specifically just to move heavy big furniture. . I was not happy that I had to spend time and gas money searching for a dolly.. and paid another 17 for a dolly when I finally found one !!Aleksandra S.

A lot of the same things others have said about DKC Auto Repair and Lube. Nobody at the location was wearing masks. The location didn't have some of the equipment on my order, and didn't tell me that until I arrived to pick up the vehicle. There was no sanitation of the vehicle; the vehicle smelled like someone had lived in it. I came back to return the vehicle prior to the location's listed closing time, and nobody was there. The after hours key drop was hard to find.Colin C.
I would never rent again when the location is closed. It took longer than it should have to check in, then we couldn't find the truck because it was parked separately from the others. Once we found it, i had to re-do some of the steps because I had clicked that I couldn't find it, then I had to walk back to the building to get the keys. It was just a longer process than what it would have been if the location had been open.Deborah K.

I had booked a uhaul from Worcester St Southbridge MA. $71.30 was they apparent cost of what was given. The bill didn't come to that it cost $52.51. I called on or about 8/24/20, about the refund of $18.79. I have yet to receive it. It's now been about a month. Also, at the end of August. I used the same place again, I called to confirm that I would be about 5 minutes late at 11:14am. They then told me I didn't have a reservation with them. That I had to go to CT to get the uhail. I was beyond mad at this point. As I had to pay for about 28 + extra miles! I took a screen shot of the conformation that was sent by them in MA. Then they quickly sent another conformation, stating that I had to go to Putnam CT to get the uhaul. I will be calling today, to clear this issue up. I DO NOT recommend using the uhaul in Southbridge MA to anyone! As they mess up and then, if you try to call them back they don't answer the phone! The person in CT was extremely nice and I showed him the screen shots, as proof of what the MA place had done. As he was going to contact uhaul about what they had done. Yet, I've not even heard from U-haul. And STILL have not received any of the $ back that was over charged!Kim C.

My only issue was that I was unable to return the vehicle through my device.. The app could not find my location ( I tried two different cellphones) making impossible to return the truck... I was not charge anything more as a result of that issue.. so, harm done..Jeffrey F.

Our only issue was the drop off.. they knew what time we rented the truck for but never mentioned about where to drop the key off ðŸ˜' there isn't a labeled drop box.. they were closed at the time of drop off. We shoved the key in the garage door. Than never heard back if they received it.. as it would have just been thrown on the floor. That was our only issue.Danny H.

I received a call from UHaul 4 days after I rented the truck asking when I was returning the truck. I said I returned the truck at 1pm on 6/13/20. The returning rental equipment needs improvement.Kathryn C.

I reserved a 20' truck and when I arrived they only had a 15' truck. Location and staff were clean and friendly. Customers should be notified in advance when equipment is not available A discount should have been given after I received the wrong equipment but nothing was done about that.Kristal S.
