Nothing at the rental location. Easy and efficient pick up and drop off and the trailer worked perfectly for a reasonable price. I wish I had more to do with it that day. Pre Registering on the website is a good idea that could have worked a little smoother for me this time.Greg R.

Clean you vehicles! I indicated before and after the rental that there was someone else's trash in the rental AND I GOT CHARGED TO CLEAN SOMEONE ELSE'S TRASH. I removed their trash yet still got charged a cleaning fee! Also, I had to drive out of my way and pay to put air in the tire as it was really low when I rented it and I indicated with pictures BEFORE rental! I was assured I would get a call to discuss before the final charges and I received an email with the final charges including a cleaning fee when I returned it clean... I picked up the trash that their previous customer left behind and got charged anyway. Completely unacceptable and this will be reported as no one at UHaul seems to care about the state of their vehicles or customer service. I did call after I dropped off the rental and they assured me I would receive a call BEFORE the final charge.Lauri L.

My original location of Ashford,CT was recommended by uhaul. That location is no longer available for returns. Uhaul changed the location to Tolland,CT which was significantly further. I had to call and have the customer service change the location to a closer location.JASON M.
First I received a call that they didn't have a 26' I haul as the transmission just went. I arrived at the location and the individual stated that hadn't had one in over 3 months. Second I was told there was a half tank in the truck. There was only a 1/4 tank. I told the individual inside he said he would adjust that. I checked out and it wasn't adjusted. Third, I had to wait over a hour for the truck window to defrost. This cut into my paid rental time. Figured the truck could of been stated for at least at minimum offered so help to take care of the issue. Fourth we went to check out and it was a pain. I tried online and couldn't get it to work. I call to do it or get help i sat in the phone for 25 minutes. Which this was now starting to run me in over my rental time. With no answer I figured it out. As a adult u-haul has been more go to. After this experience they no longer will be. I will drive further to pick something else up. I would also like to state that I never leave a review because I can be understanding to situation and life just happens.Brian C.

I was quoted $69.28 for a 2 day rental with insurance coverage when I made my reservation online and was charged $185.00 for 1 day rental with insurance coverage on top of fuel and mileage. Total rip off. I will never rent from uhaul again.Audra C.

They over charged me by $101.67 and has not responded to my email. I ordered furniture pads and when I arrived told me â€œwe haven't he'd those in over 6 monthsâ€! Should have said that upfront and I could have found another alternative. Scheduled for pick up at 7:30am and have confirmation, but got there and found out they changed my reservation and had to wait for someone to show up to complete my booking even though I had already done it online!D Curt B.

The tire pressure light was on. Onside the truck was dirty & the cab smelled so bad I had the leave the windows down all day. It wasn't filled with gas.LISA M.
Reserved a truck in advance. Received an email three hours before pickup stating they did not have a truck available. Only a cargo van was offered to me. I managed to complete my task with the truck they gave me. I think that the company should send a txt or have costumer service notify via phone.Philip C.

I got a confirmation to rent a truck from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. was called the day before had that lives two hours picking the truck up at 8 then rushing to get it back by 2 for the next person and nobody even rented the truck out. The lady that called me Friday before my move was super rude to me acted like my reservation meant nothing. Not only was I stressed out from moving to my new house but having to deal with U-Haul people was not a very pleasant experience. I tried for over an hour to return the keys to the 24/7 app and if someone would have just said that it was in my text message it would have been super easy but what a pain in the butt. The salesman that I pick the U-Haul up from said he didn't even care and disliked U-Haul what he was the one giving me the key. It's crazy in this day and age what workers you get. I can't believe you haul allows them to talk that way to customers renting trucks.ANTHONY R.

The Location was fine, but I was supposed to pick up my trcuk at 12:30pm. When I got there, the truck had not been returned yet. They called the previous renter and they were still 2 hours away. The truck did not arrive until 4:45 and the placed closed at 5. I had to rush through the process and the truck has a full rail missing on the outside (from front tire to rear tire) and a hole in the back top of the drives side wall near the back. This was not shown when I was sent the text and to save time, I was told they knew about the damage and to just move forward with the text. THEN, as I was pulling the car out of their lot, I get the text that says my rental was due back in AN HOUR! I was supposed to have a 6 hour rental. I know the return of the rental is not your fault, but I lost 4 hours of day light and had to pack and unpack my stuff in the dark. The previous renters should be charged to compensate me as instead of finishing Thursday around 6, I was still working in the dark at 11.William P.

I was told to return the truck at 2pm. I arrived at 1:50pm. No one was at the site. I had to figure out how to login, reset passwords and return the truck online by that time it was 2:13pm. Following day, I get notification that the site tried to charge for a full additional day for being 13 minutes late. We had ordered a dolly and furniture pads. They said they were not there, they didn't provide them and gave us a credit for them. When we insisted we needed them, they said they had them in the store and provided them. One of the pads was filthy. Very confused and confusing.Steven R.
The front desk attendant was very short and did NOT want to listen to any of my concerns about the truck. Here is a short list of things I simply wanted to make them aware of but they didn't have the time or interest: 1) The "change oil" light was on 2) The truck was FILTHY. There were nuts, bolts, washers dirt etc all over in the bo, the cab had debris all over and the windshield was borderline not safe because it was so dirty. 3) I reserved a dolly and pads, yet when I got there to pick up the truck they told me they did not have any of them (I could have made alternative plans if I had known earlier). I agreed and took the truck anyways, just to find out that there was indeed a dolly free-rolling in the box of the truck.ROBERT S.

It would nice to know if... if I pay for a dolly, needed to move expetrmely heavy objects by myself, that I am actually able to get a dolly when i pick up the truck. I was charged the 10 dollars.. and then told I'd get a refund which I still have not received.. and had to spend 3 hours of my morning looking for another place that has a dolly. Esp seeing as... i would not have rented the uHaul if I had known i wasn't going to have a dolly. I rented the truck specifically just to move heavy big furniture. .
