I was in a hurry to rent a truck so I went for UHaul. At arrival on place, the guy that's supposed to take care of the stuff was not there, he was actually home. Fortunately it was not far away, but since the system accepted my reservation 1 hour prior to location, he was not aware of it. So for starters my experience was very unpleasant since I had to drive and lost an hour so he could re-do a contract cause apparently the one I prefilled online did not work. And then there's the price problem, omg is it expensive. 0,69$/km and the gas is not included, are you kidding me? I would have paid half of that at discount. So thanks but no thanks, never using this again and definetly NOT recommending it to anyone.

It was far from me, though, and there was a U-Haul 3 minutes away from my home but I was told that they did not have any one-way trucks available for me, when I could see from the lot that there were a bunch of available trucks. I wondered if it was done deliberately to force me to increase the mileage I would have to pay. Other than that the experience was good.

Worst service I had in my life. Would not recommend U-HAUL to anyone, ever and will not use it ever again. Starting with my reservation getting cancelled close to my house. To having to go 1h away to pickup the truck and 3 hours later then promised. The clerk, Daniel, where I was supposed to pickup calling me less then 24h aways telling me that I couldn’t keep the truck for the intended time. Mind you, I have and hour drive just to get to my house to start the move. The same clerk calling me a 9:42 PM on the Friday night before I was supposed to get my truck. He tells me , my truck will most likely not be there, that he didn’t want to wait for the previous renter to bring it back. That he would only be there from 8:30 to 9:15, and that he would just leave even if I’m here waiting for the truck. And that I had to bring back the truck after even if I had a one way, with only 4h again. I try to converse with the guys, trying to understand what is happening and what are my options. Almost curses me out, tells me that he only makes a 14$ commission, and talking to me over the phone for 10-20 minutes is a waste of his time, so we better end the call asap. He then tells me his regional manager Claude Becker would call me. Of course I get no call. Of course, at almost 10PM I can’t call any other company. So I tried everything to get a truck through U-HAUL. Unfortunately nothing could be done, no trucks available under 2h drive aways, that I had to test my luck the next day. I finally get a call at 6:45AM saturday, from the regional manager Claude becker, tells me that the truck would be there, and if the truck doesn’t show, that he got secret that he would get me another. Where were those other ones when I called UHAUL for 2 hours from 10 PM to midnight. So i get to the worst location I’ve ever seen. The clerk barely talks to me, as if he was about to curse me out. Tells me the truck isn t there and that he is leaving in 15 mins , even if the truck isn’t there. Tells me to call Claude Becker, because it’s not it’s problem , truck no truck he leaves. I call the regional manager, tells me the truck is coming the lady got lost. Then proceeds to tell me that if i don’t bring the truck back in 4h, he would give it to me. Proceeds to try to deal me a discount to bring it back, but of I did, I wouldn’t get my storage at the other location. Threatens me more, telling me I wouldn’t get the truck. I tell him I paid and reserved for a specific service, I will use it as intended. So over the phone , telling me that he is cosy in his kitchen make me do all the work of registering the truck , while the clerk is inside doing whoever knows what. Clerk tells me he need to talk to his manager claude becker, takes my own cellphone to talk to him to eventually hang up. Starts to just walks out saying he has to go, asking me what’s happening with the truck. Claude calls back, we finish the registration, complies and leave me with the reservation I did

Pas de connexion internet sur les lieux. Le contrat disait que je pouvais laisser le camion à St-Sauveur mais il n'a jamais voulu et il menaçait continuellement d'annuler mon contrat. J'ai eu le camion 1h30 plus tard que prévu et j'ai dû le ramener à son point de départ. Alors pour l'amélioration je ne sais quoi dire....

Pas trop content on a louer un camion 1 mois d avance un 20 pieds pour le 11 mai 2019 pour 7 h le matin 2 jours avant on nous envoye un courriel en nous disant qu on avait notre camion à 3 h 00 le problème à 3 heures on avait pue personne pour nous aidé on les a téléphoné il en avait un autre à Mascouche mais à 9 h am on y va et on l a eu à 10 h am donc on a eu notre homme juste 1 h. 30 au lieu de 3 h par chance il a avait une autre personne ,ça été plue long et aussi on a eu un camion de 15 pieds et non un 20 pieds il a fallut faire 2 voyages de mirabel à st croix lotbiniere quand il arrive une chose Comme ça il devrait avoir une réduction du prix très decu

J'ai eu de la difficulté avec la livraison de mon camion puisque le marchand n'avait pas le bon numéro de téléphone pour me rejoindre. Je n'ai jamais reçu le contrat complet alors je n'ai pu vérifier. La personne qui prend les appels pour réserver les camions est désagréable, son service à la clientèle laisse à désirer. Par contre, les camions sont très bien.
