The people were very friendly at the Fiscount Box Gallery. Better communication as to where to pick up the truck. We were given the WRONG ADDRESS by UHAUL. THE contract told us the supplies would be ready at 7145 or 7165 Mission Gorge; but it was not ready. The UHAUL TRUCK did NOT have a USB port to recharge my cell phone. It took a long time to process the paperwork even though I paid in advance .Thomas L.

I don't know if it was just the circumstances of my particular rental, but there was a lock on the cargo bay door of the truck that made it unusable. It might have been because I actually picked up the truck in off hours and the lock was installed by the vendor for security rather than being left there by a previous user.NEIL JAMES D.

Clean the vehicles. I have rented five trucks in the past year and they are always dirty, I fill out the reviews every time and I feel like it is a waste of my time. It is falling on deft ears.DAVID T.
Everything went well. Be prepared to use your phone to scan your driver's license. You will probably need Google Chrome for it to work properly. I personally would prefer not to do this on my phone, but it's how they do it these days. Personnel was thorough, polite and professional. I would recommend this location!GREGORY B.

My phone died literally at the last minute while I was taking a picture of the mileage and gas. I dropped the keys and was on time but noted that I might have to pay a service charge. It appears I was not charged the service charge and am thankful for that, but maybe having a backup/contingency in case a renter can't check in after hours on the phone. Otherwise things were great. I called the main u haul phone to reserve a truck in the Mission Gorge location in SD. When I arrived at that store which was only 2mi from where I called, they didn't have my reservation. The email confirmation revealed the reservation had been made at my home location, Poway, 15 mi away. Canceling the reservation so I could rent a truck from that location was very difficult.TRACY N.

The no contact pick-up and delivery was difficult. It took a half-hour to pick up the truck. On top of this, I was charged for an appliance dolly, $10.00, and a utility dolly $7.00. I reserved an appliance dolly as well as a utility dolly. However, when I picked up the truck, there was only the utility dolly. The lack of the second appliance dolly was a HUGE inconvenience and made my move more challenging. I called to receive assistance while navigation an already stressful move only to be transferred multiple times and placed on hold for one hour! I did not connect with a person an hour, so I hung up. When I returned the truck, I noted my situation, specified the item I did not receive and the amount of that item. Regardless of this, my final bill was still charged the $10.00. At this point, there should be additional compensation.Shade W.

They said the truck was full but it was slightly under. They told me to verify the mileage but didn't invite me to go outside to check for myself, so I signed the paperwork anyway just to show some trust. Never doing that again especially because they charged me an extra $10ish dollars for â€œEZfuelâ€ even though I told them I filled it up and I filled it way past the condition I initially received it. This is why people go through long paperwork processes because people don't do the right thing. It should be a simple process if people don't nickel and dime by scamming. Never again will use and will recommend this small business dealer.Heidi L.
