Lothar Dman (wearing a Shell brand beanie both times I saw him) running the deal was super chill; I appreciated it. pick up and drop off were pretty easy peasy. only thing is that directions back to the drop off can be tricky because of the way the streets are one way for a bit. but overall the place is really close to a stop on the 18 so if you don't have a car to use to go pick up your rental car... it works well.

Benjamin DI rented a 10 foot truck, and on the website it’s advertised as 19.95 for the day, but I learned that there is a lot of hidden fees once you do actually rent it. After I brought the truck back, they asked me if I filled the gas and I said no, but I guess in the contract in really small writing it states that you’re supposed to fill the gas before returning it, so I got charged $30 for that. In total, I ended up paying $125 because of the rental fee, the safeguard fee, the $1.19 per mile fee, and refilling the gas fee. I guess it didn’t make sense to me why they would charge me per mile and then after ask for me to fill the gas tank up. Just know that it’s a lot of false advertising when it says it’s only $19.95 for the truck and you’ll probably end up paying a lot more just due to gas.

antonio pI will not recommend UHAUL to any one. I was rented a faulty cargo van which had the gas line cut. When i went to fill it up with gas before returning it ( after 4 hours) gas leaked all over the gas station and they had to close four pumps untill they could get the gas cleaned up. When I told the U-Haul dealer in person the next day (as they were not open when I returned the car at 3:30 pm ) he apologized and said he would refund me. He only gave me credit for gas ($40) and told me to call the 800 number. I did. No one from the 800 number has returned my call or responded to my claim. It has been 3 .5 weeks. Inexcusable, irresponsible, and very very dangerous!~!!!

Nassar BPromptness. My reservation started at 9 am; however, the gate was closed and no one answered my call when I arrived at my reserved time. At 9:15 am, the employee arrived. By this time, another customer and myself were waiting.
Morgan DDash light indicated it needed an oil change when I picked it up. It did beep often, but the truck drove fine. Just a note for the future (something to check before it gets rented again) Thank you

Mike NI would only recommend as there are not many options in the area but It is very difficult to get your truck in a timely manner as only one prison is manning the station and it’s packed. We did the online registration and arrived early but it took 15-20 minutes to get the truck. Our equipment was clean but they did not have a dolly as ordered.

Randall CThere are no Dollys at this location I was charged for 12 pads but only received 6. The person that was checking out the trucks had a very bad attitude. I wouldn’t return to this location if my life depended on it 640 W Mac Aurther never again. What should have ran me less than $75 to move I ended up spending $130 because I had to go to another company to rent the dollys. The least they could have done was made a call when they saw that I rented a dolly to tell me there was none instead of letting me rent the truck and still didn’t say they were out until it was asked were they already in the truck.

Francisco RAgent said I caused damage to the roof that already was there. When I showed him a picture I took of the vehicle when I checked it out last week he accused me of taking the picture right now even thought the picture was dated and in a different location in the property
David TUhaul app did not work for return, nor did website with Safari. I had to download Chrome before I could get it to work. The UHaul servers seemed to be operating very slowly. This cost me a lot of time and was frustrating.

Christopher WThe attendant took their lunch from 12-1 and just closed down the location. There was no posting about this closure before hand and no mention of it at pick up time. The location doesn’t allow for a truck to be parked safely outside the gates (which they had closed and locked). When returning the truck I had to wait for an hour in the truck, double parked, for the attendant to arrive after their lunch. I am in full support of a person taking their lunch break. There just needs to be a communication of that and posting of those closing hours or another staff to cover lunch. The truck cab had not been wiped down in quite some time. I ended up cleaning it. Otherwise the truck was fine.

Yohannes HI put in specific times that included a late drop off & Uhaul connected me to this location & confirmed me. But when I got there the guy refused to let me drop off the van at the time I had already been confirmed for for 2 days... basically he is just worried about it on the street so doesn't let people park & key drop at night even though they could. This created a big headache of additional work for us to change everything around & so this should be made really clear to anyone that this location closes at 8pm & allows no drop offs after!

Mark hWhen I went to pick up the truck, I got the truck late because it was returned late. When I went to drop off the truck, the location was completely closed. I only knew how to drop it off online by talking to some other people who had dropped off their trucks.
