I did not select this location. I was forced to go there by Uhaul scheduling who changed the pick up location 2 days prior to pick up. I was not consulted. I was not given any options. Your dictatorial and authoritarian handling of my rental disgusts me. I had to go to two new and different locations to get my equipment and pick ups were scheduled when those locations were closed. The whole ordeal was a dissatisfactory inconvenience and doubt I will ever use Uhaul again. On a scale of 1 to 5 stars you get zer, and would go less than zero if possible. Uhaul sucks.

A uhaul representative authorized Charlie Joyner to alter my reservation without my knowledge or consent. The truck was missing for 13 hours. He drove extra miles, used to to transport stolen property, and he returned the truck with damage and full of trash which I am being charged for.

1) I liked the person who checked me out when I picked up the truck. 2) I didn't like that the place didn't appear to be "open", nor did it have an office per se. 3) The truck was clean and all, but... 4) The truck had an odd transmission in that it didn't always put the truck in the right gear as it decelerated. It would rev at high RPMs without slowing down, and because of that it felt like the engine was fighting the braking. 5) The rear suspension was odd - it bounced when I drove over concrete sections of interstates (like in downtown Birmingham).

No one was there during business hours. Called number on the door and no answer. Plus they charged my card for an extra day when I dropped off a day early. They said I did not sweep inside and I have 10 people who watched me do so. I finally got someone on the phone about it and they were rude and said they would check on it for me, they never called back. So now im out over $100 for an early return.

Do not use u-haul. Drop off place was closed so they charge you $20 because they are closed. Sent me an email charging for 6 gallons of gas, it was right where I picked the truck off. And $25 dollars for cleaning. The truck was cleaned. How did the send me this info immediately after a dropped it off when they are closed. Makes no sense.

He could have the truck cleaned before pickup. Especially after I was charged a cleaning fee even tho I don’t think there was anything in the truck. Also for future uses it would be great if the truck was filled up and not under half tank.

Waisted 2 and a half hours waiting to pick up the vehicle. The phone number for the location did not work. Had to call customer service to get ahold of the location.

Location never provided a code to the key box. When I finally got a hold of somebody for a code, he gave me the code to the wrong box. When I finally got the right key, things went fine. Got the truck turned in at 2pm (which was 3 hours early) The next day, I was notified that I had been charged an additional 51.00 for no reason. The location decided to charge me a “cleaning fee” when the truck was returned in perfect condition and “after hours turn in” even though I turned the truck in at 2pm on a Saturday, when they were open. It’s a shame somebody feels the need to lie to get more money out of somebody. A dispute claim has been filed.

I reserved the truck, when I showed up no one was there so I had to reserve a whole new truck. I called and spoke to someone to find out I had to pay a deposit that I wasn’t planning on with the other truck. Why have a business if no one is there to run it. Same thing when I dropped off the truck, again, no one was there to answer any questions…WTF?? Really?? How do you run a business like that? I’ll never go back to that Uhaul!

The fees at this location are not accurate and do not state the truth, this location is handing out “cleaning” fees for trucks that come back clean and “gas” fees for trucks that come back on a half take like is stated in the rental agreement. This location is not upstanding and should not be allowed to operate under such false accusations to stack fees up against customers.

My only problem was the email I received from Uhaul gave me the wrong address and pick up location. So I was an hour and half late to the pick up time. So that set me behind my moving schedule so I late 30 minutes to return time.

First of all there was another U-Haul location across the street so I was confused as to where I needed to drop off the truck. After dropping off the truck and realizing it was the wrong location, I went across the street to let the original place know but the office was closed during opening business hours. I called and finally got someone located in a different area/state to let them know I returned the truck across the street at the wrong drop off. The truck was returned CLEAN. I rented moving blankets and put them down on the floor of the truck so that I could slide the three pieces of furniture so the back was VERY CLEAN. I also picked up any trash that we had in the cab and left it VERY CLEAN. I took pictures of the inside showing that it was clean. Besides bugs hitting the outside of the truck while driving from Maryland to Tennessee the truck was VERY CLEAN. I found out that I was charged $25 for a cleaning fee. I should not have been charged the $25 cleaning fee. On the paperwork that I received in a text it said that I dropped off the truck at 5:57pm which is not correct because I dropped it off between 4:00 - 5:00pm.

There was no one there at the location and the phone number taped to the front door did not work. I messaged the helpline and no one responded. There were no instructions and I had to go across the street to a different U-Haul vendor. There I was helped by Stephanie who called U-Haul and got them to send me a mobile check in link. If it had not been for her I don’t know what I would have done. Dirty Donnie needs to not take in person check in if there’s not going to be a person there and their phone number doesn’t work. It added a bunch of extra time and stress on an already stressful day. Thrilled with Stephanie at the U-Haul vendor across the street (200 Front St), can’t wait to leave a 1 star Google review on Dirty Donnie. Truck had a smashed side mirror when I picked it up and all around the whole U-Haul experience that day was a pain. Disappointed in U-Haul for doing business with Dirty Donnie.

The owner or worker (not sure of his position) was VERY rude and hateful towards me. He made us stand outside of the building in the heat . He spoke to myself and mother like we were children . Kept threatening if the U-Haul wasn’t clean he would charge us a lot of money . Which was understandable,but it was the way he spoke to us . He wasn’t friendly at all . And his customer service skills were horrible . I wouldn't dare recommend anyone to this location . I’ll never rent from them again !

I would not recommend this location to anyone. If there were a 0 star he would have received. We had wanted to drop the auto transport off so we can go unload their hours said open at 9 on that Friday. We were there. He was not. We called the number on the door and he was like no one is there you will have to take it somewhere else. I told him we have to return there or we get charged if it goes somewhere else. He did not care. We ended up calling our moving company that was amazing and he came over and helped us. Now that is customer service. When we returned the truck before 10 am on Saturday there is no where to park a 26ft truck. We parked it the best way we could. I couldn’t do the online return I did speak with Lorraine in customer service she said we would not be charged the 20.00 however we were charged that. She was wonderful and said to advise if we did get charged as she put notes in file I think we deserve some sort of compensation as moving enough is stressful and we do not need the attitude or the laziness of an employees who is not there. After reading other reviews for this location it seems as if this is an ongoing problem that may need handled.

Overall, an OK experience. The equipment was ready except for my moving pads. The check in process was delayed due to a change in drivers license. UHaul doesn’t understand that TN retains your previous states license and does. It accept a paper license image. And of course, there’s no one attending this location to assist. Fortunately, a manager was able to “bless” the exception. 30 minute delay in checking in.

They did not have the truck I was supposed to pick up there and was told by another location that it would be there after I got there to pick up the truck that was supposed to be there I had to change from one card holder to another to get a rental! And it probably wasn’t that dealers fault!

Had to wait 25-30 minutes for someone to show up in house slippers, even though it said the location was open. Was charged $25 for a straw and toenail clippers that were already in the truck, but smart guy didn't know I had pictures. Don't ever go here, there are plenty that will try to get over, and this guy definitely is looking to make a buck.

I waited over an hour past my scheduled pick up time for the location to open. No one ever showed. I was able to get a lock box code for a key (not the truck I reserved) over the phone via UHAUL customer service. This smaller truck caused me to make more trips, costing me more in the long run. The truck had low tire pressure at pickup, was covered in dog hair, and smelt like cigarettes. I have rented from UHAUL several times, I will never return to this location. I didn’t get the truck I requested (which was in the lot but key wasn’t accessible with no one on site), the truck was filthy, and I paid more than I should have due to extra milage.

I was charged for damages on a plastic tail gate guard that was scratched. Guard emplying it is a protective covering that takes damage rather than the truck it's self taking damage, aka a bed liner. No additional contact was given just a random charge to my account with an emailed receipt. Very unprofessional.

We dropped the truck off on time using mobile drop off, which we've done before with no issues, then got a notice 2hrs later that we're being charged a late fee and because it was a holiday, they were closed so there was no one to talk to. I have screenshots of the verification code being sent to me before the cut off time.

The truck that was first assigned was not there no one was in the office to help, after contacting support the truck number was changed but we had no keys, finally after 30 mins of trying to figure out what to do a U-Haul guy comes out and takes 15 mins to find the reservation. My rental place was changed 4 times even after it was confirmed U-Haul please try and stick with one location it make it easier
