Two major problems with the rental. 1- the agent tried installing the trailer on my 2 5/16 ball. It didn't fit and he didn't notice. If I didn't say anything, he would have left it sitting on top completely unlatched and it would have fallen off. 2- the trailer had no running lights. This was very dangerous because I was driving in the night

The manager was extremely rude, hostile and told my 70 yr mother to FU@k off and hung up on her when I tried to call back and talk with him about all the over charges, he would not even give his name, I'm telling you do not go to the UHAUL in grand ledge mi on Jefferson st . I called the district manger of this area and file grievance against him for his very unprofessional behavior and treatment towards women, and elderly!!!! Very Unsatisfactory service

I expect to rent from a business or at the very least someone that is employed by the company. Location was hard to find the actual office and it seemed more like someone's living room than a place of business. Had troubles with the online checkout process and when I asked for help he flat out said” I don't know how to do that” what kind of rental place employee doesn't know how to rent equipment from itself?

There was some minor damage to the truck (which I took pics of for my security) when I got it and it sounded a bit rough, but it ran like a top, got decent mileage, was clean, and I would rent it again without a second thought. The guy who rented it to me was friendly and made the process easy. Good experience overall.

Representative was rude. Equipment was not maintained. When a customer tells the U-Haul rep the trucks idiot light is on do not say "oh yeah, there's oil and an funnel under the driver's seat" It is not my job to put oil in your trucks. Will definitely not recommend.

The guy told me the gas was full and bring it back full. I drove 10 miles and it took me 5 gallons to fill it up. When I asked him about it he just shrugged his shoulders. Very rude and bs!!!! $20 in gas to go 10 miles??!!!!!!!

The guy who helped us could be nicer to his customers. He was slow at entering needed customer information but needed it to be given to him slowly. He could have asked us nicely to talk slowly to him instead of how he did speak to us.

We called the general Uhaul phone number to get location updated and were told that the location had been changed. He stated that it didn't get updated but he was accommodating to process the vehicle.

Quick, efficient, and helpful. Only downfall was I set up my reservation weeks in advance for a location 2 miles from where needed. Received a call the day prior to picking up the smallest trailer that they were not going to have one but I could drive 30+ miles (44-50 minute drive) away to get it, or take the biggest trailer from the selected location at no extra cost, or get the middle size at same cost at a location 10 miles (25 minutes) away. This was frustrating as I thought the dealers worked together to get the trailers where needed. The hours were extremely limited as well fir the day of pickup (Sunday).

We used it for less than 10 miles yet cost us 54.00 to fill it up. Does not seem possible to use that much gas in that short distance

Their was trash and junk tools left on the dashboard. The equipment also smelled like cigarette smoke. The usb charger on the dash was broken and the driver side window would not roll up all the way. Also I think the rotors need to be changed on the truck. They were wobbling very badly every time I braked.

The inside of the cab was messy, the cup holder was very sticky and the inside of the front windshield needed a good cleaning.. The cargo area was in need of a good sweeping before going to the new customer.

The guy lied about the amount of gas in the vehicle when I picked it up. Only had a half tank or gas. Said it was 3 quarters. Then I asked him to get me a drop off location in Louisville KY and he gave me a drop off location almost 2 hours away. Not happy with this experience at all. Most likely will not use in the future.

Back of Uhaul smelled like weed when I picked it up then I was accused of making it smell like weed after I dropped it off.. Which no one helping with the move smoked weed. The cab of the truck was covered in dog hair. They were too busy in the morning for me to complain. With Covid issues I don't know how they are allowed to not clean and sanitize the truck. They never even gave me instructions even after I told them I have never rented a Uhaul before. It was like they just took my money and ran. These people are not a good representative of the Uhaul name.
