After calling 3 times and dealing with very helpful people I was able to get a location pickup not 4 hours away from me. They were always cheerful throughout the whole thing. When we did pickup the trailer and the wiring harness was to short and was told to contact customer service. I went to Canadian Tire and bought my own so I could get on the road. Found out that it is the dealers responsibility to get them when dropping it off from the dealer there. He informed me that he stocks them for the rentals as is his duty. To the staff I say thanks and to the dealer in Elliot lake as well. Please make sure these are there for people as not everyone would know what to do.Stan T.

Blankets in uhaul were wet from previous user. Garbage was left I the front, wasn't taken out to do a walk-around or anything. Nothing was explained just asked to sign. Upon returning I had filled the gas tank to where it was when I received it but was told it was slightly under and charged an outrageous fee. Also sent uhaul an email and haven't got a response. Will more than likely never use your service again and will not recommend to others.Curtis L.

Online booking turned out was for a truck â€œdown for serviceâ€. Took over an hour to have the replacement figured out. Vehicle was extremely dirty with shoes, engine coolant, an old lunch, and misc everywhere. The fuel level was a disagreement between what they claimed versus actual. We told the Representative we would be 3 hours and had less than 5 km to drive. We returned the vehicle at around 2 hour mark. The young lady then proceeded to charge my friend a $70 fuel charge. She said I should have taken picture of the instruments prior to leaving the lot. No one came outside to Pre Check the vehicle. I know we did not use much fuel and feel the $70 charge a total fraud.Dave H.

Sketchy overall location and once I picked up the vehicle, there was a warning light that the rear left tire was low on air pressure. It was incredibly low and after finding a service station where I could fill the tire, the leak was severe enough that the warning light returned within the hour and I was driving on the 401 in the Toronto area. On the positive side, the vehicle cab and the storage area were clean.Donald Ian P.

I picked up the truck with just less then 3/4 gas and returned it at 5/8 of a tank. I drove 40 miles and put 40$ gas in it. So it should have went right back to around 3/4 full, but instead it barely moved. So something is not right here. Also I had to wait an extra 30 minutes as it was not ready at 11:30 am. The maintenance for Uhaul was there and said it was ready to go. The lady at the counter did nothing even after I told her he said it was good to go as he left. I had to prompt her to call customer service. Anyway, these things happen, however I am pissed that you decided to charge me 70$ to make up the difference between 5/8 and just under 3/4 and I have phone images to show this. Vehicle booked for 09:00 pick up. My arrival was 8:50 to ensure early pick up! Location closed, staff did not arrived until 9:20 Late staff arrival caused HUGE issues!!Alexandro O.
Booked mobile pick up for 830am. When i went to get truck,online said i had to wait till 9 to do in person. Called uhaul, said 10 minute wait for a rep. 20 min later i hung up. At 9 went into store, which was open way before 9, to get truck. By the time i left with uhaul it was 930am. Already an hour behind schedule, had to go to gas station because the truck was on empty. Arrived at my pick up appointment, the reason for uhaul, over an hour late. Had to wait for next appointment at 11am. Not a good uhaul experience.Lisa M.

We found the booking to be easy but it was indicated we were to receive a phone call for confirmation which we never received. On the order form we were told one location to pick up truck but layer found out it was a different location. We had to do alot of phoning to speak with someone to confirm. Knowing that I wasn't able to pick up a truck in my local area, I was expecting the worst. Once I found out it was only 20 minutes away - I was relieved. I was planning on picking up the truck in Baden On where I rented it, but informed we had to travel 50 k out of our way to get it. Upon pick up there was only an 1/8 th of a tank of gas. Very poor in my opinion. I was very frustrated about the additional travel and running out of gas while driving to a filling station. It wasn't a good start to my first ever u haul rental.Charlie T.
Pick up at Franklin Auto Masters. Lock was not accessible. Combination provided did not unlock. Was asked to go to Kitchener to pickup there. I was not willing to go that far. Found a 20 foot at a different Cambridge location. Truck was covered in snow and ice. No scrapper. No blankets available at this location or in the truck. Truck had less than a quarter tank of gas! Blanket charge was not credited back but was told it would be by the rep at the pickup location. Was promised that I would get extra mileage allowed but had to pay at drop off. My scheduled pickup time was supposed to be 12:30 as I had an elevator booked for 1pm but because of the above issue, I did not get back with the truck until 3pm. Unacceptable!!! I had to spend more money out of pocket to go to the other location. Pay for blankets I didn't get and pay for mileage I wasn't supposed to. Will never use U-Haul again!!!! The gentleman didn't come out and inspect the vehicle with me. I grabbed the keys back and took photos of the gas, sure enough when I get my receipt he tried to say there wasn't enough gas when there was in fact more then what I had when I picked up. I called him to complain but he said he couldn't do anything. Will not be using a uhaul when I move again. Not satisfiedTyler S.
