I didn't catch the name of the gentleman who was working behind the counter but he delivered excellent service. He had an emergency come up and had contacted me to let me know he had to leave the office, but stayed while I got to the site. He was friendly and patient and professional. And I truly appreciate the extra effort he put into making sure we had everything we needed for our move.

John EReservation was moved to 3 diggerent locations. Was supposed to be a one way rental. At this location he stated he could not do that and i was forced to return the truck 25 miles away from my ending point. I Was given the rental with 40 miles to empty, staff said it had 1/4 tank of gas, NOT TRUE. Weather stripping on passenger door was falling off and hanging outside of the door. Inside of cab was not cleaned. Back of the truck smelled like someone had had a bowel movement in it. The floor was covered in some sort of brown liquid, manure was everywhere along with trash. I did not notice this until i drove the 40 miles one way to start my move. I called customer service to advise them, they stated there was nothing they could do until the truck was dropped back off. I had to clean the back of the truck before i could do what i needed to do. truck did not come with dolly or blankets, staff at location told me to stop at a different uhaul and rent a one way dolly. I tried other dealers but they said they do not rent a one way dolly. After dropping the truck off I made sure all debris was removed from cab and rear of truck. Shortly after I was charged another $91. Which brought my total to over $300. Very disappointed in this lack of customer service and would like a refund.

Steven Tthe facility was good but the arrangements were not clear and very confusing on the morning of the move. I was called by customer service in Michigan that my reservation was moved and the the nearest location that had my truck was at a different location.They were unclear if i was going to be compensated for the difference in mileage. Then when I spoke with an employee from the location i was told the truck was still there and my reservation was still vaild. This whole situation put me behind my schedule and I had to pay my movers extra due to all the confusion. Also when I got the truck, it was on "E". This ordeal was very stressful.

Steve HCheck the truck before delivering to next customer and deliver it the way you want it back (plenty gas, so that the customer doesn't have to go straight to the gas station to fill the truck; swept not only on the back of the truck, but also in the driver's cabinet floor and some trucks need to be mop. Please leave cups holder area in the driver's cabinet clean, because for sure the next customer and moving crew will carry drinks. Even the boxes area on top of the truck inside the loading area of the truck has to be swept. If you are in business, please have equipment in perfect condition otherwise, customer will be struggling against time running to other stores that have equipment in good and working condition right before the moving crew arrives.

Laquia CThe drop off location is not secure. Someone tried to siphon the fuel out of the truck after I dropped it off. The automated online check out and check in was cumbersome and ultimately didn't work. Takes 20 minutes to get someone at U-haul on the phone.

Casey RMy reservation told me I was picking up at another location in Palm Springs. We got there and they did not have our truck. The lady at Self Storage was very nice and on her own time tracked down UHaul area manager, Herman, (909) 917-1779 He told her the truck was at Desert Hot Springs and that it had 12 moving blankets and UHaul would reimburse our Lyft from Palm Springs to Desert Hot Springs. We got there, the truck was there but the truck nor the facility had any moving blankets to rent or to buy. The attendant had no idea how to reimburse for Lyft even though her took off the blanket charge. We were an hour late to our appointment due to the extra 30 minute round trip to Desert Hot Springs and the need to stop at Lowe's where we had to buy $135 worth of moving blankets for the fine art we were picking up. I am guessing Herman never called Desert Hot Springs about us.

Antonia NThe location was fine but was a little upset that the night before I was contacted that my equipment would be ready here and not my location. I had to drive all the way to desert hot springs when my local U-Haul is down the street from my house and I would have had to pay more to return the rental there. I had to pay more in gas because I had to drive farther. Also they did not have the dolly and furniture dolly that I requested which made it harder to do my parents move.
