Happened to find this location. We were originally sent to Rex Auto. The sign said opens at 8, and had a phone number. We called and waited for 4 hours, no reply, no answer nobody there. Tried called UHaul 800 number, no response. Finally found this location and checked in. The review for the original drop off would be POOR

Owers were in-store smokers had to keep leaving out yo get my breathe. It was horrible. The computer would not take my card payment. Had to call a number and enter it by hand which they say happens every Sat. Which make the smoking exposure last even longer. Even with my mask on it was horrible. They were nice but would not recommend. Yhis is after I had to drive 2 hour to get the truck. Which delayed me even further getting to my destination even though thw online person got paid for making me 2 fantom reservations near Me when there was no equipment available.

The people who rented the uhaul and brought it back had poop stains in the back of thr truck I had too mop it out and spray the back of the truck with lysol after I rented it. make sure you check and clean the uhaul after it is brought back

Truck was filthy inside. I had to wipe down the interior. It had dried food, sticky residue and there was stuff on the seat, dash, and console. The back of the truck had not been swept out.

The guys at Demopolis Auto Parts are top-notch! This is the second time I have rented from that location, and they are always helpful and courteous. They patiently answered all of my questions and helped with the hook-up, even though it was raining. I will definitely rent from them again.

I am comparing this location to a location that is strictly Uhaul, so it is not as organized, but the people are helpful and I am grateful it is available in that little town.

The tires on the trailer were flat and I had to pay to have them fixed before I could leave town and the brakes on trailer seemed to not work almost pushed me through a red light a couple times and by the time I got to porter it sounded like a wheel bearing was going out

If reservations are made months in advance then the equipment should be readily available for pick up in the same city o the day of pick up.

I made a phone call here after an unexpected charge was made to my debit card. The guy I spoke with was very rude. Spoke with someone else and they told me my money would be refunded and that the Manager would call back but didn't. I am livid. Still no money and no phone call. Is it truly that hard to just do what you said you would?? Because of the charge, it has put my family in a bind financially. I just don't understand.

This location was extremely helpful, friendly, and quick about getting me a uhaul when the other location fell through. I was there less that 15 minutes. I truly appreciate them turning my morning around. Although I had to settle for another truck size not because of them though, I was provided quick service to compensate for time wasted at another location. Keep up the good work!!

NOTE: I had to move the reservation to a different location. My initial reservation was at the Demopolis Co-op. When I arrived at Co-op location I was told that they had no record of the reservation and since the man working "was the only one there" he could not go out a inspect the trailer and hook it up. He told me to go find another location. I was shocked that this happened. This location should be fined or reprimanded for the way then treat your customers. They were rude and extremely unprofessional. Once I arrived at Demopolis Auto Parts they were extremely respectful and apologized for the service I had received at the other location. They were more than willing to "make it right". The gentleman assisting me even said that this was not the first, second or even third time that pickups had arrived at his store after being turned away from the Co-op. He cancelled the original reservation, typed up a new one within minutes, hooked up the trailer and we were on our way. The Demopolis Auto Parts location deserves a 5 STAR rating!

I requested to return to Co-op and didn't know my return location had been changed until I arrived at the Co-op. Please in the future let customers know if location has changed. Only complaint about return location is owner/manager smokes in building which my allergies are not fond of.

I was able to drop my rentals off even though the business was closed. I called the following day to follow up and they had my rentals checked in, everything went smooth. Will use them again.

Pick up location was great. The only bad experience was with Uhaul.com I had to drive 50 extra miles to pick up truck and was only told this the day before i was to pick it up this made a 3 1/2 hour around trip just to get a truck.

I was charged an extra 15 dollars because the fuel hand was not on the halfway mark exactly. When I asked about reimbursement because I did not drive anywhere near the mileage that I was charged for. About 85 miles less to be precise. He said it doesn't show on the computer and offered no help. The overall uhaul experience was horrible.
