My box was supposed to ship Tuesday didn’t ship until Friday. Caused me to have to reschedule movers at destination which I was charged $340.00 to do.

My tow dolly was double-booked. That was UHaul's error, not the local agent's. Your data system should NEVER allow that to happen with a confirmed reservation. I was able to rearrange my schedule to accommodate the second customer.

Dropping off outside normal business hours? Be aware you are expected to complete that process online (not obvious in your contract) or make arrangements to drop off at a later time during normal business hours. The online process is involved...from your smartphone: -- Log into your U-haul account or set up a new one and authenticate; -- Send your location to verify it is where you rented the vehicle; -- Provide your mileage and gas tank quantity (send a picture of the dashboard to confirm); -- Answer questions about mechanical or system problems; -- Answer questions about any new damage; -- Answer questions about cleanliness of vehicle and readiness to rent to another family (confirm with pictures of cab and cargo bay)--this was fun in the rain and muddy parking area! -- Send picture of vehicle in parked location: -- Received any revised billing; indicate payment method; -- Finally, drop key and contract in drop box. Hopefully you have good connectivity to the internet at your drop off location. Mine was marginal and slow. Good luck.
