I signed up for a one way trip to Allston. Drop off near my location wasn’t done at the time of rental (and it should have been). I was told to call an 800 number once I was ready to return it. When finished I went to the nearest u-haul location which was 1/2 a mile away. Couldn’t be more perfect but they were full and could not take the truck. I had to drive 17 miles out of my way to return the truck. This turned a great experience into a very unacceptable one. Why couldn’t the drop off be set up when I reserved the truck the week before OR when I picked it up? THE REASON BEING. He didn’t CARE This location needs to be retrained on the correct protocol and procedures when renting out trucks

No issues with the location, but I booked online, and my truck was not there when I arrived. I had to take a smaller truck which was not ideal, and needed to start the rental process from the beginning. Location, and service from the location was great, but online experience was terrible.

The drop off location was terrible. Junk and non-running vehicles cluttered the yard. I backed through mud and over pot holes to drop the trailer. No attendent was on premise...I arrived around noon so he might have been at lunch. I called the listed number and was advised the attendent would return in 15 minutes. I stopped later to pick up my receipt.

Computer was not working. Took a long time to straighten out. No fault of DeCoffe I was charged for insurance but was never asked. My credit card covered insurance and I seek a reimbursement for this $14. I wonder how difficult it will be to negotiate this.

The manager at this location was good. However, the fact that we had originally contracted a pickup at the location near our home and had to travel 50 miles to this location at the last minute (day before we were told) was ridiculous. We booked this truck well in advance and to get a call the day before we needed it to say nothing was available at our preferred location but that we would have to travel 50 miles to get the truck was crazy..... the man at this location had nothing to do with all that and was courteous to us. When we called customer service the operator was rude and told us the online reservation in our preferred location was just that "preferred"...she said that location was never guaranteed even when you have a confirmation email.... kinda bad business don't you think? You take the reservation, you confirm the reservation but then you don't have the equipment... not good! Next time we will look at other companies first....

Being open seven days would be helpful but I understand that smaller locations like this cannot be staffed on the weekends.

One of the brake lights didn't work and they didn't have the parts to repair it at the pickup location. I took it to another location and I had to do the repair myself. I lost an hour of travel time because The customer service agent was there by himself and had no knowledge of tools or repairing things at all. when we arrived at our destination and I unpacked the trailer everything was wet because we drove through rain and the trailer was not weathertight.

29312968 Is the order number. Me and my brother took over an hour to dig out the truck. It made me late and I wasn't able to make my pick up. I was to late. this is the second time I have been screwed over by uhall if this matter isn't taken care of I will never use uhall again

Perhaps give the location manager a course or two on customer service. Seemed very put out by the process and quite the curmudgeon...though, I imagine that's the standard New England personality.

I have heard from many people that their U Haul experience was far from easy... But I must tell you. Mine was great. I reserved a truck Sunday on line for pick up Monday morning. Accidently booked for the wrong location (New Bedford instead of Mattapoisett). Upon realizing this, I called the RIGHT location and was told he would hold a truck for me. I called the wrong location (my mistake) and was graciously refunded my money. Fantastic customer service. Especially on such short notice.

The pick up and drop off locations were great. The people were helpful and friendly. However, the reservations I made through your web site and my experience with your corporate system was made very unsatisfactory. It was not the same price, pickup, or drop off location I originally made. The people at the pick up and drop off, while helpful, were also frustrated with the corporate system. Let me be clear, the people I dealt with were helpful. Your rental system was not.
