It started out awful from the get go. We arrived right at our scheduled time first thing in the morning and no one was there. The website wouldn't allow us to check in and said we had to wait until they opened which was fine because they should have been opened by then. However, nobody was there. Then another customer comes and still nobody there to help either of us. When the guy finally got there, all I can say is he was just an all around jerk right from the beginning. He yelled at us as we walked in the door, “close the door! We don't live in a barn!” Then he told us the reason it wasn't letting us check in was because we screwed it all up for all sorts of ridiculous reasons- one of which being that we used google instead of bing. We didn't use either, and seriously what does a search engine have to do with their website?!! I seriously have never had such a horrible experience with someone who should have had some customer service.

Horrible customer service. Giving me a guilt trip... dumb. Enjoy my 125 for some bullshit. It's all good tho. Maybe I was giving you some work to do. Although I did not travel with paint I ll take the fall and pay. Throwing unfolded blankets to cover it up!!! Dude I just moved across states by my self - loading and unloading In 2 days after getting a call randomly letting me know a truck was going to be available earlier when having to request 3ish weeks in advance, ugh yeah it keeps going and don't want to waste my time with this company. Did I mention I am a Family of 5? 3 kids running around... I will defiantly be steering away at least 5 people if not more away from U-haul. So you can go kick rocks. Yup never U-Haul again - I have learned my lesson. Each time o have rented this month alone - Horrible customer service, don't listen to me as a customer, giving me a guilt trip? How is this business? Don't care about the 125 cleaning fee.... just stupid - Y'all don't listen. What goes around, comes around - Promise you y'all will get yours. Washing my hands of this. Enjoy 😉

The man was unfriendly, barely turned around from his desk to talk to me, belittled me for not knowing how to unhook a trailer. My recommendation would be to find another U-haul dealer in Cache County, or at least a second one so that people don't have to go to this guy.

I reserved my U-Haul online for a specific location. Understandably, the location did not have the size I needed and directed me to a location 20 miles away. I preferred to not drive an empty U-Haul 20 miles, but had no other choice. Little known to me, the truck that I was provided was a local truck and was supposed to be returned to that same location. After I dropped it off at my local location, I got a phone call from the other place wondering where their truck was. I immediately tried to contact my location but it was a Sunday and they were closed. The next day I was called by my local location, given the keys, and I returned the truck to the location at 10:30 am (I was supposed to drop it off the day before by 9:00 am.) I AM NOW BEING CHARGED FOR 3 days rent when I only had it for one day. If you are going to assign a local only truck to someone, please let them know and don't just hope they double check their contract. When your website guides you through the reservation process, drop off location is not required. So naturally I didn't think anything of dropping the U-Haul at my home location.

When we went to pick up our uhaul van there was a car parked in front of it barely giving us room to get it out. It took us almost 30 minutes to get it from the parking spot with a lot of “turns and backing up and turning the wheel again”. When we mentioned it to the owner, he was very rude and just basically said it wasn't his fault. We changed our reservation and asked for no blankets. We accidentally included them the first time we ordered and we still got them and were charged for them. The customer service overall was horrible.

Provide more prompt customer service and have better communication with your location managers. We were on the phone waiting for help for 45 minutes before anyone could do something for us. It was very frustrating, especially since the issue we were dealing with had nothing to do with our own mistakes.

My only problem was with U-haul's online process for checking in. I went through all the steps just like it asked, filled in all the info, received confirmation that the check in process was complete, and then still had to do the check in process in person because it didn't go through.. Not very user friendly.

It was very difficult to find a place to park the truck because the lot was so full. Also, we completed all the truck return steps online and just had to drop the keys in the box. However, when we went to put the keys in the box a man who worked there insisted on seeing the inside of the truck and writing down the mileage even though we had already done that. It slowed us down and was a bit frustrating.

Upon arriving to Logan, UT I called the number provided as instructed. I received a less than ideal response that did not give the impression this is a 24/7 U-Haul drop off location based on tone, language and conversation while at the location. I am not pleased and recommend making it clear to everyone who works through this location that dropping off equipment after hours with a trailer is not a reality with the interest of management.

VERY unhappy with our experience this move. We had booked a truck to pick up at 8:00 AM, outside of the location's office hours, planning to use a mobile phone to complete the pick-up. When we got to the location, we were told we had to wait until the location opened at 9:30 to get our truck hand-delivered. We called U-Haul, waited on hold for over 20 minutes. They changed our reservation so we could pick-up at a different location that was already open. We go to that location, and the operator is not there; he was out on a tow and could not meet us for at least 30 more minutes. We call U-Haul again, hold for almost 40 minutes, then the operator shows up to the location. He was very rude and unprofessional to us, clearly unhappy that we were trying to pick-up a truck from his location when we "weren't on his schedule." He was demeaning even after I explained why we got moved to his location so last minute. In the end, we didn't leave with our truck until after 9:30, which threw off our entire schedule that moving day and caused us lots of headaches. We ultimately are frustrated because no one called us to verify our reservation the day before, the system let us reserve a truck that wasn't actually ready for us, then we had to wait for a rude and unprofessional operator and have our entire schedule messed up.

The first place that booked my reservation was in Farmington Ut. They didn't offer a military discount and when I would routed to Logan Ut. to pick up my truck and car dolly there a a number of mistakes make loading my request that the pickup location pointed out and continued to complain about. I told the pickup location that I explained to the representative in Farmington what I was needing to rent and assumed that he could load it correctly. In addition to not offering me a military discount the pickup location charged me an additional $90 but couldn't tell me what that was for. If I wasn't pressed for time I would have canceled and rented with another location or company.

I didn't realize until after I had completed the rental that I was only getting the trailer for 6 hours. When I checked the hours I noticed the business was normally open until 5:00 p.m. but on that particular Saturday it was only open till 3:00 p.m. cutting the time of my rental down by 2 hours which barely gave me enough time to complete what I needed to accomplish I was not told this during the on phone rental process

The rep at the counter was awesome. Very helpful, patient, funny and smart. And a Veteran. I would definitely rent from this location again. I think his name was Lorrel or something close. He even offered to back up the truck for me and helped to fold the blankets. Great guy.

The location was closed when I returned the van. I walked past all fo the junk to the front door and there was a Uhaul box with a phone number on it. I called that number 4 times and it just went to a voicemail box that was not set up. I didn't want to just drop the keys in the box since there was no instruction. I went to my order and discovered there how to return the truck. I wish there would have been a sign by the key drop saying to go to this site rather than just a phone number. The place was gross and if it would have been after dark I would have felt unsafe. I would have rather driven another 20 minutes to return the truck than return it there. There was another renter that pulled in right after I finished returning my van and I explained to them the process since there was no way of knowing from the store's exterior. The only thing nice was the wide driveway to easily pull the van in.

Double check what they've noted as the fuel gauge when you check your truck in. Mine was incorrectly recorded and I was charged extra for gas.

When they first called me, they were dismissive and condescending. When I had a question/issue, they were callous and borderline rude. Maybe this was a one-off issue, but whomever I spoke to, they didn't treat me like I was valued at all.

Where to start, my wife made an appointment with a eks storage to pick up a uhaul at 10 but she didn't do it as a one way trip. So we called and they said that they couldn't help us. So we called the uhaul customer service and he “helped” us. He got us a new reservation that was a one way but it was at a new place. He gave us the name and address and that our pickup was at and a pick up time for 10 am. So I got there at 9:50, I wasn't helped by anyone until 11:50. (Side note- there was a guy before me who got there at 9 and he gave up and left at 10:45.) when I was finally helped the guy said that I didn't have a reservation. I asked him if he wanted my reservation number and he said that he didn't have a way to look it up. Why would I be sent that then? Anyways, he then informed me that everything was already booked but he would take care of me. So he went and grabbed the next customer and started helping them while I sat there waiting. Luckily during that time a man pulled in the truck I needed and I asked if I could take that truck. The guy working there said yes he would just need to check it in. It took him another 25 mins to check in a truck that can easily take 5 mins. After all of this he finally called his manager to check if my reservation was valid, I gave him the two reservation number I had and the manager said that both of them had been canceled. Then while I was driving ( around 12:45) I got a call that said that I was suppose to pick up a Pick up at 10 am and because I wasn't there they canceled my reservation. No idea how they guy couldn't just look up my reservation number on his own or why they said both of my reservations were canceled. It was such terrible customer service and I wasn't compensated at all for the trouble.

The app is not a good app. the process of going through the app is incredibly painful. had i known i would have went through someone else. it seems u haul is proud of the app and its ease and it is simply not. I have always used uhaul and never had these kinds of issues, it took nearly an hour to get the uhaul.

If I could give this location a zero, I would do it! The reservation was originally made at DKS Storage for an 8:00 am pickup on Feb. 29. We received a phone call at approximately 6:30 pm on Friday, Feb. 28 from DKS informing us that the cargo van that we had reserved would not be available the following morning. They transferred the reservation to DD Towing. We were told that the van would be available at the DD location on Sat. at 8:00 am. We arrived at 8:00 am and the van was not ready. I called the contact # for DD towing and was told that they would not be in until 9:00 am. When the owner arrived at 9:00 am he was very rude and short with me. I will never rent from this location in the future, and I will discourage anyone that I know from dealing with DD Towing in any way. In my experience with this U Haul dealer I feel they do not represent U Haul in a positive light. I would rent a horse and wagon before I ever deal with DD Towing again. On a positive note, without exception, your employees that I dealt with on the phone were excellent! They tried to help me as much as they could. The only negative aspect of my phone encounters was the length of time that I waited to speak with someone. Thank you for letting me share my experience with you!

I had a terrible experience at this location with Lowell. When I tried to drop off the truck he immediately started getting after me and being very rude. Then he told me that there was dirt in the bed of the truck and I needed to clean it out. I only hauled a washer and dryer so I am positive that the dirt wasn't mine and was there before, but when I tried to tell him this he yelled and swore at me saying that I was a liar. Then he told me that there was mud in the passenger side of the cab. No one ever sat in the passenger side while I had the rental and I definitely didn't go anywhere with mud. Also, there was a muddy footprint on the dash which did not match my shoes, so obviously someone else was in there before I rented it. I tried to explain this to Lowell and again he yelled at me calling me a liar and that I need to "stop acting silly and stupid." Lowell said that the mud in the cab had to be mine because the place where I picked it up would never leave it dirty. I told him that the UHaul place where I picked it up did not have a totally paved parking lot and there was dirt everywhere. And since it had been raining, the workers shoes probably had mud on them and the mud came from them climbing in and out of the truck to move it. Of course, this just made him madder. I offered to take the truck back to my house and clean it all up for him, but he wouldn't give me the key back and told me that I couldn't go back and had to clean the truck at the store. He then gave my wife and I a broom and some paper towels to clean up the dirt and mud. We cleaned it all up very well while Lowell kept insulting us the whole time calling us liars and telling us that we needed to "stop acting dumb and just clean the damn truck." Lowell also said that I should have received a text from U-Haul the moment that we rented the truck telling me to follow a link and verify the condition of the truck. I did not receive any text of that sort, but of course Lowell didn't believe me and went off on me again. I did not receive a text and I was not told to take any pictures of the truck beforehand, however, Lowell insists that I was told this explicitly and kept calling me a liar. I would also like to make it clear that no where on my contract does it say that I am responsible for the mud in the cab. There is a sign posted in the bed of the truck saying that if I don't sweep the bed then I will be charged a $25 fee, but I never signed anything saying that I would clean mud off of the floors of the cab of the truck. If that is indeed UHaul policy, then please let the customer know. I have rented from UHaul multiple times in the past and have never had this be an issue before. I have never been the type to ask for a refund, but honestly this was the worst customer experience I have ever had in my life. The guy at D's towing where I got the motorcycle trailer from seemed pissed off whenever I interacted with him and like I was being an inconvenience to him. When I called to confirm, when I picked up the trailer and when I called to tell him I was dropping it off. Like if you don't like dealing with the people that need to rent trailers don't sign up for it.
