Your box buy back program is a joke. I now have $65 worth of boxes that I can't get a refund for because I would have to go all the way back to the original dealer for a refund. Thanks for that little bit of misleading advertising that's stenciled on your trucks. This site "doesn't do boxes "

He could treat U-Haul customers the same as his paying customers. I had to wait for him to serve 3 other people in the middle of our transaction.

The electrical wire to the plug were shorting and left me stranded on the highway with no lights . A farmer stopped and took me to his farm to fix them!! I was on a time frame for unloading which made us late and cost me money. I asked the uhaul where I picked up and dropped off if I could have a discount as I am out of pocket for the rental and time. He said no uhaul has to deal with that! Equipment that is being rented needs to be serviced so accidents don't happen. I have used uhaul many times and definitely not happy this time!

Took me one hour to get my vehicle . Had no clue what was going on. Once I got the vehicle the emergence brake buzzed the whole trip. This was super annoying very bad service.

Kevin did not know what he was doing. He didn't show us ANYTHING! We were on a time table driving from Medicine Hat to Edmonton to buy a car and it took us 1 and 1/2 hours to rent the trailer in Daysland. Absolutely horrible experience.

Well you could explain how I drove from Daysland, Alberta via Camrose to 1393 Falconer Road Edmonton direct and then from 1393 Falconer Road to Knights Inn Edmonton drop off location, only used 15 litres of gas but somehow managed to start with a mileage out of 96882 and in of 97077.

Have the reserved trailer at the "guaranteed" location. Failing that, compensate the customer to his/her satisfaction.

Trailer was very dirty , store operator had little experience with uhaul or trailer knowledge. Prior to pick up I called to confirm the size of trailer ball needed and his answer was "it's just a standard ball size " so being that it was an hour drive in the opposite direction for me I called the stettler ab uhaul to see if they would know the ball size and the kid there suggested a 4 or 3" ball (obviously no clue there either ) I did an insane amount of googling and found that a 2" ball would work . As well once I got to daysland it took about an hour to get the paperwork done to leave with the trailer .

What a terrible company U-Haul is, not just this location. I would go online, and see all these locations that had the trailer I was looking for, then phone that location and they said they had no trailers. After doing this for an hour, I decided to trust the one that was closest to pick up and they said it would be there. This was 3 weeks before I needed it. I am fully ready to move 14 hours away, and I get a phone call the day before I need the trailer to tell me they won't have it and expect me to drive 5 fucking hours to pick up a trailer. U Haul refused to either upgrade me to a bigger trailer that was close by, or to drive that trailer to where I was suppose to pick it up, and I will be damned if I am driving 5 hours to pick up a trailer for a 14 hour move. The worst customer service and company I have ever dealt with.

We had two emails that told us to pick up at and drop off at Killam, Alberta. But we were told later to pick up and drop off at Daysland. Which is further from us. Also staff did not have the knowledge or understanding of our English language. Which made it hard to communicate.

reservation was made over 3 weeks prior and this location was the closest to LLoydminster, AB/SK !! 150 KMS AWAY!! The person serving us was also serving customer at the cash and we had to keep waiting. Even to get our blankets we had to wait outside for 10 mins while he served other customers. To make it better, make sure there is more than one person available to serve customers and Uhaul customers as well as have availability in Lloydminster, AB/SK- Lloyminster is growing and Uhaul would get much more business. Also make sure what is reserved is in fact available!

Truck was not confirmed by dealer. It was also dirty inside the cab. Took out garbage left by previous renter and swept out the back. We had booked online also a month prior but the booking never happened. Thanks to the main number they lined up a truck and all was well. Thankyou

This little place was fine. My overall experience with u haul has been a gong show. A truck was reserved for a specific location. I was informed the afternoon before I was to pick it up that there was no truck available there, I had to go an hour and a half out of my way to pick up the only available truck. When I called to figure out why this happened, the service I received was deplorable. The people had a terrible attitude, and there as NO customer service. I understand that you have disclaimers posted on your website saying if you have to change our reservation, then you give the customer a $50 voucher. This is also unacceptable, as we had a mileage cut off at 391km, which, having to go out of our way, puts us over the mileage, and we are left being charged for such nonsense. Not to mention the extra amount of gas we had to use. Based on such experience and the lack of caring about your customers, I will go out of my way never to use this company, as well, make sure that my experience is passed on. An absolute disgrace!

This was way out of the way to come and pick it up considering we put a deposit on the trailer to have it's available to us but we have to drive 1 and half hours to go pick it up and another hour and a half to go home

The individual whom I made the reservation was not very knowledgeable with the reservation system. My initial booking took an hour to complete!!! Not impressive. As well, it took over a 1/2 hour to pick up the truck.

Entire U-Haul experience was the worst. After changing my original scheduled time twice (without me knowing) I was forced to pick up the truck in Daysland (1.5hrs away). When I arrived it was obvious the lady was not trained. I did not receive a contract (I was not aware I needed one until I dropped off truck). The lady was very nice and had great customer service skills, it appeared she was just not trained.

When I went to pick up reserved unit on scheduled day, attendant told me he wouldn't rent me unit unless I returned it to Daysland location, my move was to Red Deer, he said it was rented for 7 days after my reserved pickup date. I was furious as I had to drive 60 Km to pick up truck and he was telling me I couldn't have it!?! Had to call U Haul to get it resolved. Absolutely not impressed, I would never use this location again under any circumstances.

The person that ran the outfit did not know how to put the names in to the computer I ended up having to put all my stuff into the computer for the gentleman that I had to load my own trailer hooked up and I didn't have the adapter for light so I had to leave with no lights on my trailer and no help. I would not ever go back to that U-Haul dealership at all I will tell my friends not to go there.

It took over an hour to pick the truck up, I had to take a couple feet of snow off the truck and it was buried in a two foot snow bank that I had to dig out. The windshield was also solid ice. He wasn't able to give me a receipt. He continued to stop serving me to sell cigarettes.

I was supposed to pick up in Wetaskiwin and my truck was not there. I had to drive over an hour to Daysland to pick up the truck. Then back to Camrose to pack the truck. I was not impressed. The employees in Wetaskiwin knew of this problem over an hour before my pick up time and never called me to let me know of the problem. I could have avoided driving to Wetaskiwin in the first place if they would have called me to let me know.

I was told the place opened @7:00.The operator didn't arrive until 8:15. (store was scheduled to open @ 8:00). The gentleman couldn't figure out how to use my VIP credit. The truck was at just over 1/4 of a tank and was full of blankets. Had to pay a high price for gas and wait for him to empty the truck.

The person who was supposed to rent me the trailer wasn't there. The person working at the store told me that just because I reserved it on line it didn't mean anything. Had to wait another 1/2 hour for her husband to show up. No contract in place but gave him my info and left with the trailer. When I tried to return it I was informed that I was a no show and the trailer was stolen. This was the worst experience renting a vehicle in my life. I spent at least 1/2 a day on the phone between Calgary and Edmonton trying to resolve this but ended up having to pay for 1 more day than I actually needed. Will never use Uhaul again,.

Initial location was Edmonton. Reserved trailer unavailable in Edm. Had to travel 1 1/2 hours (one way) to get the required trailer. Thank you Barbara (?) in Ont. for finding this one.

Service provider did not know how to process transaction. Had to phone in to have my booking processed and the individual missed information that I later learned I should have known/needed. It was also 45km away from what the online showed as the nearest uhaul locaiton to my address.
