When confirming my services I asked to add a furniture dolly, unfortunately when picking up the truck it was not included. Not sure what happened but it was took some minutes to had a solution which was removing the item from my bill, it wasn't possible to get one on same day.Ruben V.

They should have let me know that the vehicle had a flaw in the back door so that I would not have worried they would blame me for it. That would have been the right thing to do. Not a big deal but you see my point. Generally, I really like the guys who work there. They are friendly and competent. It's a minor process flaw.Michael W.

We had to jumpstart the vehicle just to get it to the drop off location. We didn't put gas in it because we didn't want to jumpstart it twice. Then you app malfunctioned at check in. It would not let us passed the third screen. So we likely got charged for gas and from the drop off location to do the check in the next day.Jason P.

The gentlemen at this U-Haul location were very kind. On a 103 degree day, they started the van to cool it down before I even began the moving process. I would rent again here without any qualms. They are truly wonderful representatives for U-Haul.Kristy G.

Two issues: Could only do mobile check in on a Saturday. The process was extremely tedious on a mobile device. Ultimately, I did not get a code for the key that was in a lock box. Had to call customer service to get the key after a 20 minute wait. At the 10 minutes it took just to do the mobile check in, that was 30 minutes of wasted time. Second ... the truck had clearly not been swept out with a bunch of debris in the back.Alexander T.

It was Wed. morning about 11:30 AM and raining. it was my first time to go this location and pick up my rental truck. After signing the equipment contract, the location employee or owner briefly explained a few things about rental contact and insurance coverage. He showed me to grab the dolly and take it with me then he gave a verbal direction to find the truck in the adjacent side yard. The truck was parked just right next to puddle rain water consequently I climbed inside the cabin with wet shoes and socks. I was expecting the location employee to walk me to the truck and and show me and briefly explain the operation of the truck and confirm the fuel level with the contract. I had to figure it slowly but surely how to drive a 20 feet UHAUL truck. I did take a picture of the fuel gauge before leaving the pick up location but didn't compare with the information on the report. i realized it upon dropping off the truck at different location, I was charged $9.90 additional for the fuel. I returned the truck with the same amount of fuel when I picked it up. I will share the pictures with you upon request which they show before and after the rental agreement.Fred M.

The staff is rude an obnoxious. By far the worst experience I've ever had with an Uhaul dealer. I rent about 7 to 9 thousands dollars a year worth of Uhaul trucks nationwide and this location will never be visited my me again.Francisco L.

I returned my rental on the same day i rented it. I picked up the truck at 2:17pm and returned it at 4:30pm on 10/07/22 yet this morning i was charged for 3 days of rental. I need a full refund or i will sue. Contract number 22655039. I went to the location this morning told them about the problem, I was told it would be fixed and they would call me to let me know the problem was resolved yet i received no call.Adrien L.

A guy came out and took the keys because he said they were closing and we didn't get a chance to do the self service return we were supposed to do. I had to go back that night after getting a notice from U-Haul and sit in the parking lot next to the locked truck to do everything. If I hadn't taken pictures before leaving I don't know what we would have done.Hannah H.

I have used David's Automotive on numerous occasions for U-Haul, however this experience was not good for me. The pick-up was very simple since everything is done via email/text messages. The return of the rental turned out not so good. I was told Mark would be the person to check the van back in after he returns from getting gas. I never received an email saying the truck was returned. I called David's Automotive to question the receipt at which Jeff abruptly said call U-haul. I called U-haul and found out the truck was NEVER checked in. I called to make sure David's Automotive checked in the truck. I spoke with Jeff (again)) and was told in a very rude tone "all the trucks have been checked in and I don't know what else you want me to do" and went as far as to hang up the phone while I was talking. I then called U-haul customer service to speak with a person on what I should do, but ended up chatting with someone only to find out the truck had finally been checked in. David's Automotive finally checked in the vehicle at 9:01 am the next day. My emotions were all over the place thinking what happened to the van is I feeling I NEVER want to feel again. David's Automotive (Jeff) was not helpful or sympathetic to my request and rude which is why I will NEVER use them again. I'm very sorry, if my words are all over the place but I'm still very upset about their behavior.JACH R.

Business not readily visible and tough to find. CDW of $10 on a pickup truck rental was never explained. Despite calling to inquire about drop off of vehicle 30 minutes after their closing hours, I was only told that the key won't fit in the drop off box, so to slide it through the door, but no such instructions were given for me to self check out, which would've helped me avoid $20 after hours convenience fee, which really is a poor customer service. I don't own a truck, so I was looking forward to renting the truck frequently from Uhaul in doing the yard work, but I am now very discouraged to do so with this level of poor customer service. Yes, I understand it was written in the receipt, but a simple 10 second mentioning would've earned me as your cusutomer for life instead.jay P.

When going into the David's automotive business to pick up the truck I was hit with a $40 something $ charge for insurance that he said I must have. I told him that neither of the 2 locations that quoted me the price EVER mention this charge. I then asked if I could use own automobile insurance & he said that it would cover it. $40 something $ on the day of pick up unexpectedly was a deal to me because my move was 5hrs. away & ALREADY costly.Debra G.

My only issue is that the cab of the truck had an overwhelming smell of smoke (it smelled like CBD vape). We notified the guy at the front desk because we had forgot the dollies that we had requested. He indicated that they were aware. It was so strong that it gave me a headache. Our drive was estimated at 40 minutes but it took longer because of traffic. It was just awful. Other than this it was over all good. Easy to reserve, easy to pick up, easy to drop off.
