EDWARD RNot sure if this review is for the pick up location of U-Haul. But lower the mileage cost. Drove 32 miles and the cost of the mileage was more expensive than the daily cost of the rental. 1.39 per mile is crazy. Give a free amount of miles and then charge for every mile after. I live 5 min down the road and it cost me $4 just to drive to the house I was moving out of.
Canaan TNot a fan of online checkout experience. Too many pics required to pick up and turn in. App is not user friendly as info from previous rentals such as drivers license should be accessible. I see little benefit to online app as time requires to check out and in is nearly the same as in person

ANTONIO LGreat experience at the U-Haul location in The Colony, TX. The process was quick and efficient, the truck was clean, and the staff was very helpful. Highly recommend this location!

ADALBERTO NI had reserved 2 dollies, but when I went to pick them up, they told me they didn't have any. I made my reservation 3-4 weeks before needing it.

BRIAN WI was told that this location would be open on the weekend and it was not....had to do self check-in....not a problem...but was expecting a person to be there.
GARY MI was disappointed because I was sent to this location to get my truck when I ordered it from another location. This was like 8 or 9 miles further to pick up and drop off, at $0.99 per mile cost me more for miles that weren't my fault. Otherwise everything was good with the rental and all.

Reza GThey did not include the dolly with the vehicle rental. When the customer support agent calls me and tells me the truck is available at a different location, they should also transfer the dolly and items to the other location as well. This was a confusing process for the customer. They should at least remind the customer that the dolly will not be provided with the vehicle in the event of a change to the pickup location. I could have planned to pick up the materials at the original location and then picked up the truck. This complaint is specifically targeted towards the phone agent that called me to reschedule, as the original location did not have a 20 foot truck. I was not notified that the materials would need picked up at the original location. Please inform the agents to transfer materials to the new pickup location as well. If this is not possible, please clearly remind the customer that they need to make 2 stops, one at the original location for item pickup, and one at the new location for the 20 foot truck. This was very confusing, and you are lucky the movers I hired had a dolly.

Elvia OWhen confirming my services I asked to add a furniture dolly, unfortunately when picking up the truck it was not included. Not sure what happened but it was took some minutes to had a solution which was removing the item from my bill, it wasn't possible to get one on same day.
Ruben VThey should have let me know that the vehicle had a flaw in the back door so that I would not have worried they would blame me for it. That would have been the right thing to do. Not a big deal but you see my point. Generally, I really like the guys who work there. They are friendly and competent. It's a minor process flaw.

Audra HWe had to jumpstart the vehicle just to get it to the drop off location. We didn't put gas in it because we didn't want to jumpstart it twice. Then you app malfunctioned at check in. It would not let us passed the third screen. So we likely got charged for gas and from the drop off location to do the check in the next day.

Tabitha ETwo issues: Could only do mobile check in on a Saturday. The process was extremely tedious on a mobile device. Ultimately, I did not get a code for the key that was in a lock box. Had to call customer service to get the key after a 20 minute wait. At the 10 minutes it took just to do the mobile check in, that was 30 minutes of wasted time. Second ... the truck had clearly not been swept out with a bunch of debris in the back.
