Not professional. Originally said she would have to cancel my reservation due to taking her daughter to a doctor’s appointment but then realized reservation on another day. Late at office and we had to wait for her. Said she only makes $9.00 to rent and too much work to provide U-Haul services.

The drop-off location assigned by U-Haul was odd because it was a small garage that really did not have a place for my 26 foot truck. However the proprietor there was very accommodating and made a spot for it and said she would take care of getting it transferred to a larger facility. She went above and beyond in providing excellent service.

Had called the day before pickup to confirm the truck was there. I was told that it was and the time they were open. Arrived to pick up the truck and nobody was there to help us. She arrived over an hour later from the time she had stated. Then she said that nothing was sent to her from u-haul notifying her of a rental. After a few minutes she was able to find everything and after about a 40 minute wait I was on my way.

I was scheduled to pick up my truck at 8:30 am. I arrived and there was no one there who knew how to process the paperwork. The young lady had to call the owner and she used her phone to show her the screens to process my rental agreement. Also, I was not permitted to park my personal vehicle there while I used the truck. Also, I was charged with the insurance, and not given an option of refusing it. I was very disappointed in this service,.

"David & Sons" is not primarily a U-Haul location. It is a used car lot with U-Haul 24-hour privileges. The day before I was supposed to get my U-Haul rental from a different location, I was called to inform me that the original location did not have the truck size I reserved. I was then directed to David & Sons to pick it up. This was not a problem. When I got to David & Sons, the truck had a combination lock. Luckily the owner of David & Sons just happened to be there, and she was extremely helpful in unlocking the truck and giving me my keys. Apparently I was supposed to have been given a code for the lock from U-Haul, since this was 24-hour rental. This was not communicated to me, but as I mentioned, I was fortunate that the owner happened to be there (the business was closed the day of the rental pickup). The truck was dirty, but it ran fine. So all went smoothly after I picked it up. So my suggestion is the U-Haul corporate needs to do a better job of communicating pick-up instructions, especially when they are changed by U-Haul corporate. I am a long-time U-Haul customer and I will continue to be one. Thanks.

Very congested parking lot at a auto mechanic business. Had a hard time finding a spot for a 26 foot truck. They were closed which was fine. The system could not detect my location, therefore would not allow me to go through with the return my truck procedure. I ended up calling U-Haul directly. The lady was very nice, professional, and she was able to finish the transaction.
