Their computer system does work well. The checkout time was way too long. Young guys working there don’t know how to navigate the system. It is always frustrating to pick up U-Hauls at this location.

Both renting the truck and when returning it was done so smoothly. These guys are the best in the area!!! Hands down. The truck was even pulled up and warmed up!!! Just awesome service. I have rented trucks and car trailers all over the State of Michigan— people could learn from these guys!!!

Dave was helpful friendly and professional- he said he personally checked it out himself at my request before we took it home to load.I think it might have been a NEW one.All went well and we didn’t have any shifting or broken contents when we arrived in NC even after the ride through the Mountains in WV. The staff person wanted me to unhook the trailer and refused to check the trailer in or document that I had dropped it off. Also refused to check the trailer over at my request to ensure that there was no damage. Never asked for my name or checked my paperwork.

The owner of the gas station is very helpful and knowledgeable, but when we returned Saturday morning to hook on the car towing trailer, a teenage boy was working who didn't know how to hook up the trailer, secure the car, etc, so I had to figure it out for myself.

The young man that processed my application didn't know what he was doing and didn't ask anyone to help him. When the other young man working the gas pumps would come in he would tell him what he needed to do...but this took forever. The lock on the driver door was broken. Had to go in through the passenger door...not a huge deal. Upon returning the truck they couldn't figure out how to close out my reservation because we only went 3 miles. So they adjust the mileage up to 5 miles and the system will let them proceed and charge my account. Was told it's not a huge deal it's only an extra buck or so. The extra $1.38 is not a big deal but the level of customer service was more of an issue.

I was over charged for 2 dollies when we used 0. I was also charged a gas fee to fill the tank yet I brought it back with 3/4 a tank of gas which was how much was in it when I took it. I sent in a photo even.

When we asked the price to rent a Uhaul we were only given the $29.95 daily rental charge amount. Nothing was said about .99 cents a mile. So we were surprised by that and we were already running late because of how long the employee was taking, so we couldn't even try to figure out an alternate method for what we needed the Uhaul for. Then the employees who helped us with both pick-up and drop-off didn't know what they were doing and both processes took 45 minutes. I was told my credit card wouldn't be charged until after we returned the Uhaul. When we left I looked up my account and the estimate of $153.65 was already taken out of my account before we left the parking lot. When we returned the Uhaul the worker behind the counter was going to double charge me instead of only charging me for the difference between the actual miles and the estimate. I had to show him my account to show I had already been charged the estimated amount. Good thing we had cash on us because I was worried I would be double charged instead of only the difference. When I asked the worker if he could call someone to help him figure out how to only charge me the $9.44 difference, he refused to do so. Uhaul needs to rethink their advertisement to include .99 cents per mile. We didn't see it anywhere and we were not told about in by the representative when we were reserving the truck. Having that would allows people to make a more informed decision.

I received a call from uhaul corporate that I did not drop off my trailer. I had called Dave’s when they opened next day so they knew I was delayed a day. I’d also let them know upon pick up that I might need another day so we checked reservations schedule to be sure it wasn’t an issue. The rep was incredibly rude. Dave’s is great but who ever called from ?+1 (414) 316-6552? should be fired. I’m a regular customer of uhaul all over the nation and know how the system works. I was treated with deep disrespect and most people would look quite poorly on uhaul if they’d received that call.

Your pricing for our return trip to the UP has sent us looking to purchase a trailer. A 50% increase in price of southbound vs northbound is not acceptable $200 southbound was workable, $300 northbound was not -
