Get rid of the 15 cats that live in the room where you have To go to rent the equipment. The smell will gag you! As far as the lady that set up my rental, she was very, very nice. I'm sorry, this is being honest.David M.
If I could give UHaul 0 stars, I would. We were taking a 10' truck from Tampa to Chicago, roughly a ~1200 mile drive. Not only did they give us a 15' truck we didn't ask for, they charged us more for it. The truck had a one foot crack on the passenger side that whistled (loudly) for the duration of the entire trip. The trucks lights barely worked. The trucks transmission also didn't work; while we were traveling at roughly 70mph on a highway, the gearshift slipped into neutral from drive. Luckily, my partner has experience with this sort of thing, and was able to bring it off to the side of the highway without trouble, only the mental scarring. The truck also slipped from reverse to drive while in the alleyway of our apartment. Luckily nothing happened, but this is completely unacceptable. I truly hope no one ever rents from UHAUL as they are death traps. Also, the company is very difficult to get any help or response from, as we are currently trying to contact corporate to explain the situation, and they blamed us for the trouble of the truck they gave us.Hunter D.

The truck was not in a good condition. Water leaked inside the storage compartment from the top on the drivers side. It also made knocking noises when turning so was worried the whole time driving that the ball joint would break.Amit P.

This business has an abundance of cats inside of the business. The smell of the place is just absolutely disgusting. If you are allergic to cats like I am, I would definitely stay away from this business. The cat lady that assisted me was extremely rude and acted like I was interrupting her very important solitaire game. Not a place I would recommend unless you're filming a horror movie.STEPHEN R.

It took over an hour to call customer service on Saturday. They say something was wrong with my order. They Tinkered with the order and said you will have no more problems, if you load the App. When i arrived at 10am, i had to wait 45 minutes for the App to give me the code to get the Key. The Van pulls to the left, shaking most of the time, go over any bumps on the road and the vehicle feels like it's going to make you lose control. I had to drive it at 60mph in the Right lane for the entire trip. When i returned the van where i picked it up. It took another hour to return it. The picture of the odometer and fuel gauge was NOT LOADING. I used www.uhaul/share to Return the Van. All in All WORSE TIME RENTING A VEHICLE. In Maryland, Uhaul has a machine at thier locations that you type in your online order number, pay with your credit card, and out pops your Key, 10 minutes tops.MARK S.

The location was home to approximately 30 feral cats. The smell of ammonia was overwhelming. Cat feces and vomit all over the floor. The woman that was there was not prepared for my reservation at all. The man who was told to bring the truck around had nothing to say but f-bomb after f-bomb. The truck was filthy and smelled awful. Then they told me the price changed from $39 to over $130 - insane! i needed the truck for about an hour to move furniture. Help me out by detaching the trailer. I told him about we couldn't run during the nighttime Because of the night lights of the trailer wasn't working. He told me that he gets many like that! He said that he never let anything go out that way.Mark H.

Brakes were shot on the truck I rented. Office smelled like cat urine and there were cats all over the place. Inside and out. I was so worried about checking out condition of truck and the fuel level that I didnt verify the mileage. They got me for 50 miles but it never happened. I used less than 7 gallons of gas and that was because I didnt know how to turn off the tow/haul light. I take ownership for not taking a pic of the odometer but the mileage was wrong at the start. They removed equipment that was on the reservation without contacting us to let us know or even leaving notes on the reservation so we knew ahead if time. The truck was in mediocre shape and we had to spend almost 45 minutes of our 4 hour window picking up the vehicle and trying to find out where the equipment was. The equipment that was removed from the order was visible inside their locked building so we don't understand why it was removed from the order. We will not be using them or recommending them ever again.Michael S.

I had an appointment to pickup at 9:15. Worker was late coming to work so this delayed my pickup. Worker very courteous and helped attach trailer to my hitch. This location needs a thorough cleaning, the amount of cats indoors is concerning. The smell of unkept litter was overpowering.Courtney W.

The lady that checked us in was really sweet and helpful but our reservation was all screwed up and it took her over 45 minutes to correct. It was not her fault but the process should be more efficient on the booking site. My husbands name was entered wrong and we had requested 3 total days but it was defaulting back to one day.
