They charged me for safe tow which I did not select when I made the reservation. They wanted another name as an "assurance" which I have never had to do in the past and couldn't explain why. They said that they don't really have anyone to help attach the trailers, which I cannot do by myself. It just seemed sloppy.

Reserved over the phone with a woman off-site and incapable of making a simple reservation. At pickup time, the scary man behind me with crazy eyes did nothing to help, but walked around with a glass of milk. Man at the counter, incapable and didn’t have the appliance dolly I specifically reserved. Truck pulled so hard to the right it was dangerous and upon return, they couldn’t switch my credit card, charged me an additional $22 and made me unload the non appliance dolly and disgusting moving pads. On top of all of this, the lady at check was jamming French fries in her mouth, while handling my identification and cc and speaking with her mouth full of French fry lard.

We picked up the 5x8 U-Haul in Merrimack NH. Upon inspecting it, it was found to have inoperative brake lights & right directional inoperative also. When asking the owner/manager to fix them he claimed he wasn’t allowed to do repairs on them. Nevertheless he took our $554 and allowed us to rent this illegally operable U-Haul. We had an unchangeable plan to drive to florida the very next morning. We stopped at a U-Haul rental destination that afternoon in Peterborough NH where a gentleman also representing U-Haul tried to fix the tail & rt directional for us but could not, after spending 45 min attempting to do so. We left for the trip to florida the next morning, as we had a deadline to meet for a real estate transaction. We were stopped 3 times by law enforcement due to the failed lights and almost had an accident due to them also. I believe we should have our money returned due to the harrowing time we had for five days & as well as for the irresponsibility of the U-Haul representative in Merrimack NH.

Your online ordering system is antiquated.., my postponed order was postponed incorrectly from an auto transport carries to a pull behind. and I had to drive 20 minutes out of my way to correct U-Hauls mistake. I have original confirmation of Auto Transport and at the request by me to postpone pickup they changed the trailer.

The owner of this location needs to be trained in how to rent out uhaul equipment. Not only did I have to go behind the counter to type in my own information, he said the additional equipment that I rented was in the vehicle when it clearly wasn’t. I was charged additional for this equipment, so he should have double checked it was there. He did not walk us out to the vehicle nor explain anything about our rental. It was a very frustrating and confusing pickup.

This reservation was made two weeks in advance, 36 pads and one hand truck were reserved. Only 20 pads were available and no hand truck. The owner loaned us his personal hand truck (it's an auto shop) which we greatly appreciated. The pads smelled like cigar smoke and were dirty. Upon return the young man at the counter didn't know how to properly check us in and said "just leave the truck and they will check it all in tomorrow". We requested that he count all the pads and notate on our contract that they and the hand truck were returned along with the mileage and gas level. Everyone was nice and polite at this location just not professional or ready with reserved clean supplies.

D&W was find, no issues. The on-line reservation service should let me select pickup/dropoff locations, in order of preference. Neither the pickup nor dropoff locations were the one I selected. The reservation e-mail had no information about why my chosen pickup location was not available, nor was I informed that the dropoff location was different. I had to call customer service to find out what was going on.

How about we also talk about the part that U-Haul completely screwed up like losing our first reserved truck and forcing us to drive 25+ miles to get supplies and find another truck. Your dropping the ball on this reservation, the SCREWED up billing and time and $$$ wasted on my part to resolve SUFFOCATES the rest of the experience.

I reserved a uhual truck online a week prior. I got to the pickup location at 9 AM as the first customer and the computer/paperwork took 30 minutes. The attendee was very nice but it took a long time to process something I had reserved for in advance.

Watch the billing!! I was billed for two line items that I did not ask for, and intend to reclaim the amount with UHaul. I was charged at check out for "safe move" and a hand-truck, which my credit card was charged before presented the bill. When I pointed this out after seeing the bill, the attendant informed me they couldn't reverse the charge and I'd need to call the UHaul number to dispute.

Better training for the agent processing at the pickup location. There was an issue that he nor the manager could resolve with my reservation. It took an at-home employee to contact U-Haul and resolve the situation. It took over an hour and a half!

The individual who rented the UHaul to me had no idea how to work his computer. He ended up changing my reservation drop off location even though I specially told him where I wanted to drop the UHaul off (the location which I had filled out online). Then he charged me $78 for this change that I did not want. During my move I had to call UHaul and talk on the phone for 30 minutes during my drive to fix this error. What should have been a 15 minute pickup, took one hour. Very stressful. Very unorganized. I also ordered moving pads, which were given to me (after having to remind him that I ordered them) in garbage bags covered in dirt. Will never pick up a UHaul from this location ever again.

We had a good experience with the truck. It was clean and the A/C worked good......it was hazy, hot, & very humid the day we moved. There were some computer problems at the store and it slowed everything way down but other than that everything was fine.

The uhaul was empty ended up over filling it $50. The mileage was off and concord was left to fix their mistakes and had to wait 20+ mins

When returning the Trailer the attendant scratched my car while removing it. Never appologized! I had to ask him for solving the problem do i need to complain to Corporate and he said yes. I do have photos of the damaged car. Will be complaining on Monday.

1st things is that I had to argue with the young guy working the desk (very unprofessional) about honoring the price that was quoted to me because the truck was not available at the original location. We ended up having to call corporate to get the close to the quoted price. The guy (Steve) was laughing and being very smug the whole time and I said to him I'm glad you think this is funny because it's not. We finally got the truck after 45 minutes.

We picked the standard insurance when filling out the application. When we dropped the truck off the person behind the desk charged us for the most expensive insurance. Unfortunately we didn't have our receipt to confirm, but we checked it when we returned home and we did indeed choose the standard ins.

Rented a 20 footer. When i got there only a 26 was available. No hand truck as i requested and when i returned it I found out they had never rented the truck out to me. Never offered insurance or anything. Then they proceeded to check the truck out and check me in at the same time taking 20 minutes after I had moved all day and still charged me the full amount. Not happy with Uhaul right now.

I rented dollys and the only thing they has was hand trucks making me rent dollys from somewhere else to get the job done. why accept my rental if you dont have what I need.

I had reserved a 5x8 via phone to uhaul. This is the pickup location given. We get there and they do not have my reservation, but do have a 4x8 trailor available. Took 45 min to clear up the confusion and let me take the 4x8. Price was $14.98, then sudden the total was double that. I asked why and was told taxes and fees. When I questioned more I was told it was a 48 hour rental. I corrected them and said no. I want no insurance and only 24 hours. I left under the understanding I would ha e it back the following morning for $14.98. I returned it that evening, earlier than expected. Received a phone call the next day asking where the train was because it needed to be returned to merrimack, but the woman did not mention the gas station I had returned it To. I called uhaul directly to clear I had actually returned it there early. The customer service rep said they recorded I returned it at almost 10pm Sunday, 24 hours AFTER it had been returned and I was 45 min away at our new home at that time. I am now being charged over $40 do a $14.95 rental with a complaint in to the gas station via uhaul customer service. In addition, I had reserved a 6x12 trailer the same day, Saturday . The email sent me to this gas station again. I called uhaul directly to make sure this was correct, as I was originally told pickup would be closer to me and there were no other trailers at this location that morning. Uhaul customer service confirmed they also did not have the 6x12, even though my email confirmation/check in instructed me to go there. She ended up finding me the trailer size I need about 30 min away vs 10 min away like I had reserved. This experience was a disaster and I wasted half a day trying to rent trailers I had reserved and organized for our moving day.

I rented a 15ft truck with two furniture dolly's. 1) The truck was covered in dead bugs, it wasn't even washed before I was given the keys to it. 2) The inside was not cleaned out of all trash nor was it given a basic sweeping to remove dirt and sand. 3) The alignment in the truck was off, I had to keep the steering wheel at a constant 10-15 deg angle to keep the truck straight in the lane. 4) When I requested 2 furniture dolly's, I come to find out that there wasn't any at this location. This then required me to go buy 2 of them to use. 5) Not to mention that the store didn't open for 35min after the posted time on the door and online. Very disappointed in the quality/ cleanliness of the vehicle as well as the availability of the equipment that I requested.
