Equipment was excellent, minor issues with the paperwork. Rental was set up for one day but paperwork indicated 3 days. Questioned, that prior to departure and U-haul agent stated he would correct in system, but didn't. Went back after return and manager was contacted to make corrections and arrange credit. 8AM reservation and staff did not arrive until 8:20a Dirty, unprofessional environment. When I returned vehicle at 11:45a there was a sign on the door that they would return at 12:30p- they actually returned at 12:45p Vehicle had a lot of long hair (dog hair I suspect) on the seats and in the cargo bay. Two issues: first, the vehicle had less than 1/4 tank of gas when I picked it up, so the first thing I had to do was go get gas. This was inconvenient and made me late for my appointment to pick up furniture. I recommend that at least the tank be half full before it is rented out. Second, I had trouble using the mobile app to check the vehicle back in. The app would not take my photo of the odometer and fuel gauge, despite over 20 tries. Finally, I took my own photo, called the 800 number, locked the vehicle and left while on hold. I was on hold for an hour and a half. This is unacceptable. The rep I finally spoke with had me email my photo to him, and then he checked the vehicle in for me remotely. Today, when I returned the furniture pads, not having realized earlier that I was supposed to, the clerk at the 5602 McKellips Rd location was very helpful and kind, and he confirmed that the check-in was done and all was well. When I described my problems with the app, he confirmed that it often doesn't work property. I will not be using the mobile app again. You really, really need to iron out the bugs in it before unleashing it on your unsuspecting customers.Linda G.

I was having trouble getting access to code to retrieve the truck key. At the U-Haul site, on my app, you asked for my phone number. I typed it and it was rejected because it is the same as on the reservation and you asked for my alternate phone number, so I did give you my wife's phone number and your response was the same, saying it is the same phone number as on the reservation. It was not true. For 30 minutes, I struggled to speak with live chat representative. Very very slow response. I was ready to give up for some reason, the live chat rep finally send me the code. I think what was happening is that you were trying to call me on the phone and I couldn't answer it because I am Deaf. I cant speak on the phone. So this is my bad experience as a Deaf customers. This app apparently is not Deaf friendly. I think it is great for hearing customers but for me as a Deaf customers. Never again!!!Matthew J.

This was the absolute worst experience ever. Took 15 minutes for your stupid navigation to know where I was. Had to drive around the parking lot and circles because it said I was not there. I called on Wednesday because the drop off location was incorrect. 45 minutes on hold. Went to drop it off today where you told us to and they would not accept it. I was then told by a U-Haul representative I had to drive 20 minutes to some other location. I told him that was completely ridiculous after 12 hours of moving is the last thing I wanted to do. I demanded I drop it off at the original place where I picked it up. Absolute horrible experience I would never recommend you to anyone not even my worst enemy.ET S.
I made an appointment for 1:00, and arranged my day to pick up furniture having two other parties involved. I got to the location at 1:00, and the door was locked and a sign said gone to lunch be back at 2:00. I had to rearrange my entire schedule, and just inconvenienc ed both other parties involved. The system should be checked and double checked to make sure things like this don't happen.STEPHEN H.

Your app is very slow. We tried to pick up using the app and it would not advance past a certain screen. I had the same issue when trying to drop off using the app. It wouldn't recognize the photos I took and wouldn't advance to the next screen. I couldn't wait there indefinitely, so decided to call in the info and waited on hold for nearly 30 minutes before the call was answered. Any issues had nothing to do with this location As usual there was no guarantee from U-haul that I'd have a trailer the day I needed. This was a crosstown nice, where I could wait a day, it was a 1,400. move and it was imperative I get a trailer for the reserved date. Whenever I spoke to an agent, including the scheduler the night before who verified a motorcycle trailer, I emphasized it had to be a bike trailer, it was verified that it was even in the notes, sure enough when I went to luck it up, it wasn't what I ordered! So I had to drive 15 mike's away to get what I needed and the opposite way from our house. Even though these trailers can be in demand this location had three.JACK J.

I had reserved a van with a dolly and when I picked up the van there was no dolly inside. When we peeked in the back window of the van parked next to it, that's where the dolly way. Very disappointing as I had to go to Home Depot and rent a dolly for the day. Time wasted by running around on a busy moving day.Heather F.

Agent reserved the wrong trailer, did not have the correct one. Contacted another dealer that was farther away from my home to obtain the correct unit. Liscense coping system failed several times and agent had to enter data on her phone. Very bad experience.bruce U.

I was very disappointed with the fact the trailer is listed as 5x8. In reality it is 56.5" wide and NOT 5' as listed! This caused a major problem for me because the bed I was moving was 58" wideRon S.

Highly recommend this location. Do not recommend the mobile reservation system. When asked to estimate how many hours we would use the vehicle, we estimated. This was well within a 24 hour period, but the mobile system would not let me change my estimate of six hours and wanted to charge a late fee for keeping it for eight hours. Helpful associate at D&T fixed it for us but be wary of the mobile system!Jean M.

Person who checked us in seemed to be in over his head and didn't know how to print out receipt. The physical office area was far from professional looking, dirty and cluttered. He did walk me outside to walk around trailer. He mumbled and was hard to understand.gibby G.

When I arrived at the pick up at location at 10am no one who represented U-Haul was there. The people who represented the D-T Golf Cart side of the building were of much greater help. These people had to call up the people running the U-haul just to show up. I and and another customer waited for 15 minutes until someone finally arrived. When they did show up they did not seem to know exactly what they were doing and their systems were not functioning. I ended up figuring it out myself using the U-haul app and helping the other customer alongside myself who was trying to drop off a truck. It was one of the worst business transactions I had ever experienced.JAMES D.
