The owner of this business (Dallas Detail Shop) needs to answer his phone. Failing that, get his mailbox set up. I tried to call 4 times over three days and no one ever answered and I always got "mailbox full" msg. That said, the lot behind the business is an easy drop for the Auto Transport I had rented and the drop box easily located.Roger M.

First, the location closes at noon and this wasn't mentioned ahead of time. Then we cleaned our trailer top to bottom and we're still charged a cleaning fee. Then when I asked about it the manager was extremely rude. Do better.Cody K.

Unreliable inventory. I received a call from a representative switching my initial Van reservation to this location because of a larger inventory on the desired date. Turned out I had to take a Silverado pick up truck or nothing. Even if it's customers not returning vehicles on time, it still makes the location unreliable.Fernando M.

I was Charged twice. Also owe $9.73 on the rental called the office several times to pay the outstanding amount with the office, but was not able to reach anyone. This has caused the second charge to not be returned meaning uhaul is holding my money unlawfully. Location was fine, dealer was very pleasant. But U-Haul switched us to this location from a corp location, and dealer did not have the dolly I needed or a conversion switch for my lights, or really any accessories that I could see. So I had to travel to the Harry Hines location to get everything else I needed.MATT L.

The truck was worse for wear. There was barely any gas in it, a chaotic rattling noise on the top of the truck left my ears ringing, the steering wheel was tacky to the touch with some nondescript sticky, and the driver's side door wouldn't close all the way unless I slammed it with all my might. I'd love it if someone would reach out about a refund or tremendous discount.Shane A.

The trucks roll gate would not close. Therefore we didn't have a truck to use the day we needed it. We called the location we rented the truck from and they told us to call customer service. We called customer service and was on hold for two hours. Then was forwarded to another team and was on hold for another hour. We never got a hold of anyone in any timely manner. Our uhaul was useless. Our team had to tie the back end of the cabin with bunji ties just so we could transport one item - and had to load everything into our cars and make several trips on a day we only had five hours to load out an entire show. I ended up paying my team extra as they had to work additional hours and even tried to fix the truck themselves.Ilknur O.
We were told that the truck we rented was the newest in the fleet. Once we got on the road, there was a loud annoying whistling noise that we finally figured out was from improper seal around the windshield. It was quite annoying. Equipment was found to be unusable when I arrived at my destination. Rented a a car hauler and found that the straps damaged deeming the unit un-usable. Too late and too far to return it Had to make other arrangements.CHARLES D.

This was the absolute worst U-haul experience. I have rented trucks from uhaul multiple times and everything has been fine, but this was horrible. The location is atrocious, the fact that uhaul allowed that business to be a uhaul rental spot is above my head. Not only was the physical location horrible, but the grounds were disgusting, and I couldn't get any help. All in all this was a horrible experience.Carson K.
I use uhaul frequently but this was my first time at this location The gentleman working was very helpful. Please Upgrade his office. Hope this is helpful : 1. The metal gate with the chains on it is NOT the entrance. 2. The office is directly to the right of the bathroom door. Otherwise, it was a smooth and efficient and problem free transaction.Julia F.

I had to load trailer on my auto. Secured trailer. Attached lights. No help from employee. I don't mind. But your employee never checked brake lights or directionals. I am sharing this for your info. I haul needs to think of customer experience a little moreScott S.
Dropped off after hours. Very cluttered and messy Do I have an option to review the equipment? The trailer was terrible and terrifying. We drove from Iowa to Texas. We couldn't go over 50mph or the trailer would fishtail horrendously. It almost flipped once so we dropped our speed to 35. It took us 14 hours to make a 10 hour trip. We were pulling it with a newer suburban that pulls a 24 foot trailer regularly. I would never recommend this to anyone. So scary the entire drive.Lisa H.

This is maybe a pick up spot only? I'm not sure but both times I went no one was there and when I called he kept sending me to voicemail! It's in a dangerous area, homeless people walking up to me while I'm trying to figure out how to get the truck. & it was so hard to figure out where to find the truck! There was no one at the location to give me the keys! I had to rent a truck at the Langford street location and they said they hear this feedback about this location all the time. I was charged and this wasted a lot of time on moving day. I need my refund processed.Jesus P.

Very good experience overall. The gentleman checking everyone in was helpful and friendly. Compared to renting a car, the check in seems to take much longer. Only slight complaint. Had to wait 40-45 minutes after appointment time with 1-2 people in line ahead of me.KUMAR A.

I selected mobile check in. There was no key to get the truck & the truck was parked between other trucks & could not get it out. The agent arrived late although it reads the store opened at 8am. This impacted the movers I hired to move. There should be compensation from uhaul due to this. Also, the site was unkept & dirty. There was no agent to return the truck nor clear instructions for returning when the agent is not there. I called uhaul for assistance but I waited for 30 mins so I dropped. I contacted uhaul via chat & that I also experienced a long wait there, then the agent dropped my chat. I will never go to this site or recommend anyone to uhaul.Carlos O.
