I returned the vehicle with the gas EXACTLY to the line it was at when I left. they charged me for more gas to put in because they said it wasnt! I should have taken pictures before and after. He was rude when I called to say the gas was right. I also wasnt told I would have to fill out how much gas was there and the mileage before I dropped the keys in the box. If I hadnt called UHAUL right away to tell a customer service rep, they would have charged me for another day because I couldnt close out my return vehicle because I didnt know the mileage. I didnt have to do that the last time I rented one. Very unhappy with this dealer. Uhaul was great, but the guy I rented from was very rude after charging me an extra $12 and I called for explanation!

The only thing would involve the setting up of the rental. It was are understanding that if we did not use the truck for two days we would only be charged for one. We did return the truck within 24 hours but were charged for two days?

The shop where I picked up the equipment was great. The problem was the debacle that was getting the equipment. I was made to drive 100 miles one way, in order to pick up the equipment I thought I reserved 3.5 weeks before hand at the place a block from my house. Turns out, according to the rude, not very helpful customer service rep, that when making a reservation it is only a “request” for said equipment. They called me less than 24 hours before my move and gave me a smaller truck and informed me I would be picking up my not big enough truck in one location. And the car hauler in another location. I was told that they were the only places that had the equipment within 75 miles. However, the mileage I would have put on driving around getting this equipment and then back to my home, would have totaled over 250 miles. Not to mention I would have needed to get a ride. After much frustration I asked the customer service rep to please find a location where the 2 were together. Grudgingly she did so. I had to drive 100 miles to pick up the equipment. Then haul my car back as well. Insert extra gas expense here. As if this wasn’t enough, because the truck was too small, I was unable to pack all of my belongings. I now have to go back when I can find time to pick up the rest of my stuff. I should have hired a moving company. I would have saved money and not had the hassle. This was ridiculous to say the least. This is not the way to do business. Absolutely ridiculous. Moving is stressful enough and this was horrible. BEWARE! YOUR RESERVATION IS NOT A RESERVATION!!!!

If emails are being sent from the Madison WI office, please stop them. We were less than a day on our way to Eastern Kentucky when we got one saying we had to return the trailer by 8 am the next morning. We had everything set up with Daehlins and don't need a second party butting in messing with us. Please eliminate that frustration from our next rental. Thanks

Dislike the extra charge for miles. No allowance for detours or taking interstate highway instead of County or State roads. May want to review routes from areas in Northern WI. Many drivers will opt for interstate instead of State and County roads due to hills, turns stop and go intersections. These roads are not conducive to an extended vehicle, 26' truck and a 20 " car trailer.

I declined the SafeTow insurance ($80.00) but was charged for it on my final bill anyway. That is a rip off and it will be mentioned to anyone asking me about renting from Uhaul.

Rented on line thru main web site. Ordered a 5/8 trailer. Confirmed 5/8 trailer. Went to pick it up. No 5/8 trailer. Had to downsize to 4/8. Couldn't fit all my belongings. Had to leave stuff behind.

The guy was nice, but I would have liked a little more formality and explanation about the paperwork he handed me - our transaction was a bit rushed and there was no real desk to sign on. This was not my preferred pickup location. I made a reservation for a local pickup and had to drive more than an hour to this site for pickup. This change also resulted in strange billing which created a problem when returning the truck.

Always full or men talking and sitting around. Very rude,Huge Black cats yes cats laying of places. The location is so Dirty I didn't want to move. Its very small on top that.. I've had to rent from this location a few times and hated it very time ... Did I mention the are very rude.

Pay employees (contracted or otherwise) enough to be present on weekends and end the use of an app or cellphone. It's very time-consuming and I would have preferred to just have a person present rather than go through 10 steps, taking photos, etc. I was also under the impression it would take "just minutes" to pick up based on the website claims, but it was 50 minutes after we got to the location before I could take it off the lot. Mostly due to re-entering information I had already provided when I reserved the vehicle. A person would have looked everything over and handed me the keys. U-Haul's mobile service is not efficient.

Probably more my fault than any but I bought a UTV and rented a 6' x 12' utility trailer to go to pick it up. upon arrival I tried to load the UTV but the opening in the trailer was only 50 inches wide. this is 8 inches to narrow to load. Needless to say I traveled 2 hours back home to return the trailer and rent one elsewhere that would fit the UNV. I'm only saying this because I rented a 6 x 12 which should only be advertised as a 4 x12. Thank you.

This was our first time using a U-HAUL and we had a great experience. It was very easy to reserve the truck we wanted the night before our move. I picked it up the next morning at 6:30 am and the gentleman was waiting for us. He got us all set up within a matter of minutes. The truck was fairly new and clean with just over 2,000 miles on it. I would recommend this location to anyone who is moving. It was very convenient!!

Nothing. This location did for me that the Eau Claire area stations could not. I needed to move my daughter home from college and the Eau Claire area stations were gouging me on price. The Daehlin station provided me a vehicle at a fair price.

My only real concern was drop off. We dropped of early, we were supposed to have it back at 9 am this morning we took it back yesterday, only used it for 5 hours. But for some reason it had to be returned back at the location we rented it from, instead of dropping it off 10 miles away in dubuque iowa. That didn't make sense to me.

No improvement needed with Daehlins . The guys at Daehins were super. You do need to do a better job for on-line reservations. I had previously done on on-line reservation and that was horrible. The day before I was due to get the truck I was notified none was available in the area I needed so I called Daehlins directly and they set it all up with no problems.

Gentleman was nice and funny, but he had a hard time figuring out the computer part so we waited a while. The other gentleman there was pretty grumpy. We were unhappy with our time of pickup being changed, the location of pickup was changed and the size of the uhaul we got was not the one we wanted and things were not explained to us like they should have been. Only thing we were told was where the gas was at (which was incorrect) and that we had to return it with the same amount, so we paid more than we needed to.
