A huge gas leak prevented anyone entering the business so I never got close to the building when I dropped off the uhaul truck and everyone was scared the building could blow up so it was a scary situation.

The staff was rude and I never received an email, call or text regarding the change in pick up location - the woman behind the counter was slow, inconsiderate and didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. Their response was "that's just UHAUL in montrose, we can't do anything about it" - terrible customer service.

Debra your counter person was horrible, disrespectful. Nearly a bull dyke, not from the area rude as f!. Caused me greif and and an extra day cost of rental. Told me the vehicle i was needing to tow wouldn't fit. So i went anther neighborhood dealer had to get a transporter, but my boss said no! And the dealer there said that the vehicle would work with a tow dolly bit that theirs was locked out of use so she called debra at dads rental to have her reserve one by that time ot was 5 til 5 . That first place cost me a half a day of loading up to move. And im not sure that i received credit back on the transporter? What a hassle ! The next day once loaded we headed out from Montrose Colo. To fountain Colo traveling hwy 50 east because we had s A late start we were held over for road closure.due to snow on monarch pass. So i had tp pay for another day use of the truck. Yeah, im not thrilled about renting uhaul .but i. Really upset by the mannerism of the dads retail clerk. Then she eben wanted me to hook up the tow dolly? I said no, i wanted to be sure they hooked it up. Hello PENSKE? Vollie Clinton

The gentleman that helped me was wonderful and went out of his way to help rent me the trailer. My wife was stranded 3 hrs away and his assistance and help was so much appreciated. Great location . Many thanks to this gentleman and his boss, Deborah, for all their help.

Although we like the location and ended up with a good trailer, we had to reject the first one due to a bald tire or two. Last year we had a flat tire after about 30 minutes of driving with our trailer so we didn't want a repeat of that. After asking the owner for a different trailer, he very willingly complied. The only reason he didn't get 5 stars is bc the first trailer, which we rejected, was defective.

Levi was very accommodating and understanding, especially since it was a holiday. He made it very convenient andwas able to return the unit when it was convenient for me. Extremely friendly and customer service oriented. Highly recommended.

Deb helped me beyond belief. She was able to find me a better unit with additional supplies that really helped me during my move. I was pleasantly surprised and overwhelmingly happy with how smooth everything went! THANKS! Only thing to note - U-haul online said you can pick up at 7:30 from the Dads Automotive location- They open at 7:30 but cannot rent out the trucks till 8am. JUST FYI.

I was charged for both the hold on my credit card and for the actual rental, which caused my credit card to go over the limit. I have tried repeatedly to have the charged hold removed without response from uhaul...continuing to effect my credit

First of all, our reservations were made, and updated as moving plans changed, at Colorado Self Storage in Montrose. Our actual Pick-Up Iocation was Dad's Automotive in Montrose. Our Drop-Off Location was not in Craig...as the column to the right indicates. Our Drop-Off Location was at Advanced Property Maintenance at 543 S. Gilbert in Castle Rock, CO. We were really impressed with the staff and location at Colorado Self Storage. We have a storage unit there and I often observed the staff out washing the trucks' windows and vacuuming/cleaning and checking oil, etc. My husband and I would remark how hard they work on the UHaul stuff! But, when it came to pick up, we had to go to a different shop in Montrose. The truck's windows were filthy, I'm not sure any effort on Dad's part was made to clean/maintain the truck. Additionally, the location was definitely not as clean and organized as Colorado Self Storage. The first man to greet us at the front desk had incredibly dirty hands. I get that it is also an automotive shop, but it was just so different from what I thought might be the standard, since CSS is so clean and tidy. We were less than impressed with having to go to a different location to pick up our UHaul and finding it to be far less impressive than CSS. However, our truck worked, we got moved. We found the drop-off location to be disgusting, however! What is up with the filthy locations that are representing UHaul's name? (See Comments under Drop-Off Location for more details)
