Very hard to see the location from the highway. It's a tack store... cluttered mess and hard to find the help. When he came... he was a great help recognizing the trucks manifold problem,.

Uhaul was gracious with all our problem however we got the vehicle stuck in the red clay of our new place and could not get it out Our wrecker bill was 770.00 to have it pulled out . We had the large truck and needed a large wrecker when we called the uhaul number to come help them they sent a small SUV to pull it out. That was 100.00 just for service call. Then we called a local wrecker service in MCCormick and they tried but needed a bigger truck. Then on day 3 a large wrecker came and charged $770.00 to move it. Needless to say we had an expensive move. I don’t know anything that uhaul could do differently except assist with notifying the proper wrecker service they approve. All is well we are moved and uhaul service was great

Actually your call in system sucks, I called your toll free number to verify my reservation and make a slight change, and was told that I didn't have a reservation, then I was told that I had a reservation but there was no guarantee that the place I reserved for the pick up would have the equipment, and that I might have to travel over 100 miles to pick up the reservered trailer. then I was placed on hold for at least 30 minutes, while I was on hold, I received a text message that it was time to early check in for my equipment. You really need to upgrade your staff at the call center,. seriously, it is making me consider finding alternatives to uhaul. In addition, I tried to reserve the trailer at the corporate store in greenwood and was told on the reservation system that it didn't have the equipment, but when I stopped by the store, it clearly had the equipment. Plus, when I picked up the trailer, I was told that the corporate store in NSB Florida didn't exist, and it clearly didn't show up on the computer screen of the location I was receiving the trailer from, even though my reservation said I was to return it there, but he said I couldn't because the computer would not allow him to enter that location. This is freaking making me think is there an alternative to uhaul because this was very stressful for me realizing that uhual could no longer a dependable company.

When I went into the cultured cowboy where I had got a quote of $360 to make my trip from there in greenwood to my home and Norman Park Georgia. I went in there looking and saying hey. This is going to be a pretty good experience. One thing I did notice while I was doing my paperwork for the U-Haul is the the representative. Had him a big box of wine drinking on it at that time I thought. Well maybe I should go somewhere else so I googled and there was nowhere else available. Well me and my wife and my three and five-year-old son and daughter had been stranded in South Carolina for 2 weeks. Waiting for my disability check to come in so I finally get the opportunity to get us home because our car had broken down. As I said they give me the quote and also because we were broke down and I'm on disability. I had no phone service so I had to use the establishments Wi-Fi to give them the license information. Well everything started off well until I go to turn the truck and the car dolly which I had rented well actually I had to rent a car tow trailer because they didn't have a dolly to fit my vehicle . The gentleman tells me that it would only cost me $10 more to rent the car tow trailer instead of the dolly when I arrived at my home to turn in the 10 ft. Box truck from U-Haul and the car tow trailer they tell me that I had gone over almost 200 miles more than I was allowed and I was a day late when I thought I had actually turned it in early because the representative at The culture cowboy for U-Haul told me the truck was due that coming Monday. This was Wednesday the 3rd of this month so they're trying to tell me I'm one day late and over almost 200 miles on the odometer and that I didn't put gas in it which I have pictures and receipts where I put the gas in it to fill the truck back to the point they said it had to be which is slap full to the rim to be able to get my deposit back. Not only was I not given my deposit back they Sent me a bill of $196 and took my deposit $100 after finding out that this information I get to looking at what they had charged me to rent this U-Haul after they quoted me $360 for the U-Haul truck and a dolly which he told me that for $10 more I could get the car tow trailer since they did not have a pull behind Dolly for the car when I had checked to be sure they had a dolly before. I drove to the only location that did have it just to find out. He says they don't and I had to drive from Laurens South Carolina to greenwood just because it was the only place it showed online that had what I needed. So with the circumstances I was in and needing this to get my children and wife and myself home. I opted for the car tow dolly which he told me would be only $10. More that's what I opted for since me, my wife and my children have been stranded for over a week, I took this option. Trusting that. U-Haul would not steer me wrong! Come to find out they charge me over $600 for this truck and this trailer for me to get our family home My destination was from greenwood, South Carolina to Norman Park/ Moultrie Georgia. From what I'm looking at right now this ended up costing me over $1,000 and I went no more than 50 miles more than the trip from green wood, South Carolina to Norman Park/ Moultrie Georgia when they're saying I went over 200 mi plus which is false. I have witnesses the day I picked the truck up that the representative was under the influence of alcohol. When I tell U-Haul about this they say well if he was on his private property which is a business And also a U-Haul! I pride myself in being an honest man and with U-Haul being such a large business I expected a lot more from them. A lot better and I'm over disappointed with the company. I'm actually irate because it took my entire monthly check for my disability from being above the knee amputee to rent this 10-ft box truck and a trailer for 200 and 70 mi .And now when I check my email they're saying yesterday I signed up promissory note saying I would pay them another $195 not counting the $100 deposit they took from me. After I done everything I was asked. It cost me $ $70 to finish filling the truck up so I would be able to get my $100 deposit back. Not counting 5he $10 I had to put in the tank during the trip. I'm waiting on U-Haul now to investigate this and I hope I can get back with you afterwards to give u guys Good news that U-Haul took care of me and found that there discrepancy in the mileage was not my fault and that there discrepancy and saying I did not fill the truck back up. It's false where I absolutely have two witnesses that I did and pictures. And I also have four witnesses for the conduct of the representative at the cultured cowboy in greenwood, South Carolina I'll be getting back with you guys to let you know about this outcome but as of the moment I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to rent from U-Haul especially from cultured cowboy in greenwood, South Carolina . I will be updating you with the final results

At some point, a previous client was smoking inside the cab despite signs prohibiting such. My allergies are still affected today after spending about 3 hours in it. To improve, have inside of the truck cab cleaned to get rid of smoke smell

I had to do a self checkin and UHAUL website wouldn't respond to me allowing them to have my location. Overrall this wasn't a good experience with UHAUL, and I will be looking for a different company the next time I need to move.

Cultured Cowboy Uhaul added $8 to my bill for insurance coverage that l had not selected for online and did not ask me if l wanted insurance at the time, Chuck Taylor just added it not asking me if l already had insurance coverage for my truck which l do. When l asked for a refund Chuck Taylor said too late now. I will not go back to this Uhaul location again and l am needing a 26 foot Uhaul truck next week. Very disappointed when people don't ask me and just go ahead and add a charge l did not need. Uhaul owners me a $8 refund. Please reply to my review and request? Cultured Cowboy sells coyboy-western wear, boot, hats. Wedding gowns. The store is jam packed and isles are cluttered. I still have not gotten a call back from them. The attendant who was there needs training and needs organizational skills. The owner is no where to be found.

The gentleman there was really nice and hooked the trailer up for me showing me how so I could do it myself if I needed to. Once I was finished and brought it back he unhooked it all for me too. This was unexpected, I thought I was going to be on my own trying to hook it up or rely on family I had with me to attempt it.

This place is hard to get into and hook up when its pouring rain. The guy running it did fine, did the explanations, hooked up all in the rain and mud. Location is not paved.

The woman got in the truck with me, saw that the person who had the UHaul before me did NOT fill the gas tank back to FULL, but proceeded to let me leave with the truck. Upon arrival to the drop off destination, I was told I would be charged $200 if I did not put the tank on FULL. The tank was NEVER on full. The woman in GREENWOOD, SC even got in the truck to verify. But once it was discussed that I would be charged & for me to DISPUTE the issue, she proceeded to LIE & say someone could’ve stolen gas from the UHAUL. It was very unprofessional. I will NEVER go back to UHaul of Greenwood. This was the absolute worst experience . UHaul also sent us to 3 different storage units (one being too small, one already being locked & rented out, etc;) it was the most horrible experience

Started calling at 8am no answer (said he'd been there since 7;30 called several more times but no answer decided to drive to location at 10am. Had to wait for him to wait on customer and answer phone. Finally got our truck at 11:58am.

I had a bad experience overall. The night before I was scheduled to pick up my vehicle, I was called by the owner of the business who told me the truck I had reserved was already booked by someone else. He offered a 26' truck at the same price, but we only needed the smaller truck. However, we felt we had no choice since we needed to move my daughter that day. When we arrived for the pickup Saturday morning, the truck we had reserved was sitting there, but he again said it was reserved by someone else. It took almost an hour to go through the process of picking up the truck. It was very difficult to park the large truck at her apartment complex in order to unload, and it was about 3 times bigger than we needed. It also cost more in insurance and gas for the bigger truck. I was also charged for moving blankets even though I said I didn't need them, then wasn't even provided with the moving blankets at all. Overall, just a terrible experience. I won't rent a U-haul again unless I have no other choice.
