dan henkelI was charged a fee for after hours when the facility was open and I spoke to someone on the phone. They just said to check out online - the only option was to click Drop Off and all it said was to make sure gas was at right amount and drop keys in drop dox. Nothing more.

Danny NealAs far as I could tell, this was a totally unmanned location. I had not intended to do self-checkout, and arrived during business hours to return the truck. No one was there, and no one seemed to work there at all. I found the self-checkout process to be difficult and stressful. Also, this did not feel like a safe location to wait to be picked up after I dropped off the truck.
Kenneth KatkinFor whatever reason, everyone involved in my reservation (including myself and the personnel at the pickup spot) had trouble finding this dropoff location in U-Haul's system - in fact, it seems that very few locations come up as options through their internal search. This makes it incredibly Inconvenient, especially for an in town move where just setting the dropoff location as "city" is entirely too vague and counter productive. Really, this should be fixed for everyone - with gas prices high as they are, it should be be quick and easy to find the absolute closest dropoff location to minimize mileage.
David DreierI returned the truck on a three day rental a day early and checked it in online and put the key in the drop box. This location waited a full day and then “checked it in” in their system 30 minutes after the return time to charge me for an extra day…I had to spend 45 minutes on the phone to try to get the fraudulent $54 charge reversed and I’m told it will take 7 days to get the funds back.

Levi Turner6410 Madison was fine, but that was not the location I requested. I requested an 8am pickup at 6004 Madison. It wasn’t until 10am that a representative transferred the order to 6410. I’ll be getting in touch soon to be reimbursed for those first two hours.

Troy FischerAfter a VERY frustrating day dealing with the Sharonville, Ohio U-Haul where we made our reservation (a month ago) we were finally sent to this site to pick up our truck. The employee, Sean, was very helpful. Sharonville office sent us to a distant business from Sharonville; this business was not open and after driving back to Sharonville, we were told to use the internet, which was not the thing to tell senior citizens. I was furious! Eventually we were phoned by another person from the Sharonville office (I think he might be the manager) who directed us to the above address for pickup, and reassured me that there would be an actual person to help us. He also said he would give us a discount for having had so much trouble. However, though things turned out okay, I will never rent from U-Haul again.

I actually went to the UHaul company down the road, who's agent was kind enough to call the UHaul service to get assistance and confirm that I had indeed paid, uploaded my driver's license and done all the "paperwork" (I was on a 45 min wait with customer service with no end in sight.)

Charles MillerWhen I arrived I felt rushed by the attendant. I had questions about insurance and the condition of the trailer while he was processing on the computer. He answered me in condescending manner. At one point I said to him, "Thank you for pretending to be patient with me." He responded, "Well, I'm just trying to get you in and our of here, I have lots of other things to do." Quite rude, though done so with a pretended pleasant voice. The trailer was FILTHY DIRTY! The outside had a black film all over it. I cleaned it at my house before loading it, even rubbing against it would get clothes very messy. The inside looked clean, but it had only been swept. When I ran my hand across the floor it turned black across my palm. I had to wash the whole inside with Pine Sol to clean and sanitize before loading.
David EberhardtThis location was 1 1/2 hr out of our way to where we needed to go. It wants this locations fault. But the set up on uhauls fault. I shouldn't have accepting that location. But I didn't realize how far it was away from where we were going
Joy RoseThe mileage on our electronic invoice was wrong. We only had the truck about an hour and 10 minutes. When we got back to retun truck and discuss it, no one in the office to talk to. We were charged for 8 miles too many. Overall the whole experience was too digital and without human to discuss things with. Older clients without smartphones have zero chance of dealing with anyone to help them. Very disappointing. Overcharged!!!

Jeffry BishopThe local customer service and location was awesome. Centralized Uhaul was an unorganized mess. They relocated my pick up and made errors on equipment requested. Thankfully, the local crew pulled thru and made it a good experience.
KIRK MENTZERSimplify the return process. Update the availability of the uhaul size requested. I was forced to take a 26 ft truck when I had only needed a 15ft. I was sent to this location from another site where I had attempted to rent the truck I needed. Additionally trying to return the truck and report the time it was returned was unnecessarily difficult and confusing.. I went to the site but there was no clear option to select return uhaul and when I called the number I was transferred then placed on hold and in that time discovered there would be a 20 dollar convenience charge. I managed to turn in the keys but simply left without speaking to anyone. The location was closed and I was in a bad area and desperate to leave as soon as possible. I’ll never rent from uhaul again. I’m quite sure I’m entitled to money back, but am currently furious with this company and need to cool down before pursuing what I believe will be a bigger hassle than the one I had while renting.

Danilo CasinoEnsure that they have their login information for the U-Haul System. Employee/Owner could not remember the password to login and retrieve my reservation. Not that this is this locations fault, but there were damage marks all over the truck as well as a large crack in the windshield. The dealer that I returned the truck to the as surprised they even allowed the truck to be driven. I also had major issues when changing from Drive to park to reverse. The shift bar was very loose.

Cloe hazenThis location was fine but it was not our original drop off location. The original drip location was 6008 Madison Rd. However upon arriving there, there was nowhere to drop a uhaul and no key drop box. It was a small building on a busy street with no parking lot. We had to wait on the side of the road for over 40 minutes while I called uhaul customer service for help. I talked to three different people and the first two just put me on hold and never came back to help. The third person finally helped us find a legitimate drop off location. Overall this process was one of the worst experiences of my life. I will do my best to never rent from uhaul ever again and will encourage all my friends and family to do the same. Some serious changes and investigation need to go into these so called pick up and drop off locations.
