The people were very friendly and helpful. I didn't check I side well enough on the inside ans signed off it was clean. When I got ready to load the trailer I realized it had not been cleaned out. I swept it out and loaded. Overall not a huge deal but I would have thought it would have been cleaned out.SCOTT B.
This was the worst experience I've ever had with U-Haul. The facility I rented from is closed on Saturdays. Nobody told me that and that I would need a lockbox code to get my keys to the truck. I waited on hold with U-Haul for almost 2 hours and could never get through. They ended up canceling my reservation when they saw I didn't pick up my truck. But in the meantime I'm sitting in the parking lot on hold with you trying to get the code I need. Thankfully the owner of the shop showed up and was able to give me the key. So I was driving around in your truck with no record of a reservation as you canceled it. I had to call back again to set up a new reservation for the truck I had. Not to mention this put my whole moving day behind 2 hours. This has by far been my worst experience ever with U-Haul and really makes me thinks twice about ever renting with you again. I felt like I did nothing g wrong. I showed up to pick up my truck on time but you guys made this a complete disaster.Kim L.

The older truck had an exhaust leak that was causing carbon monoxide to get in the cab if you ran the AC. Outside of that the service was greatFRANK W.

There was a dirty drink tray n front that they should have cleaned before I got in the it. There was a rusty dent on drivers side rear of truck that has been there for a long The lady that set up appt said shes not responsible for the truck.. that she works for the auto maintanence store. the U haul was very clean and it ran perfectly. , I just wish it got better gas mileage. The woman at Crown Auto is so nice to talk to, which means a lot to me, and she has a very sweet personality.!! Everything was 100% perfect.Cynthia M.
The online reservation and pickup was complete garbage. I had to enter duplicate information multiple times and still had to go in to have the same info added again. Then when I got into the shop I had to wait 20 min for the person to help me because she got sent somewhere by the boss of the car shop she also worked for in the same place. THEN i had to wait another 10 min for her to reenter all the info I already put on the garbage website. I will not reccomend uhaul to anyone or use it again. I would rather leave my belongings and just buy new ones because it would be easier and cheaper than this. Do betterDAVID P.

It would be nice if I could deal with my local U Haul dealer which I have been dealing with for 3 yrs. I had to go to another town to pick up my trl. I made my reservations a week in advance. I like your trls., I brag about them to my family and friends !JOE D.
first off the only person able to release the trailer wasn't on the premises, so we had to sit and wait and wait for her to come in even though we were there at the appointed time causing significant travel delay. Second, the information she give us about returning the trailer within 24 hours was wrong. The place in Michigan said we were locked into the 48 hour minimum charge so we were inconvenienced because we were rushing to return it in under 24 like the woman said and all for nothing!david C.

When I arrived the 1 person trained to facilitate UHaul paperwork was out and other personnel weren't sure when she would return. I waited 20 minutes then called UHaul customer service was disconnected by Dave and a 2nd time by Mike. The 3rd time I called, I was transferred to Carlos' cell phone the regional manager who also disconnected me but did call back. 30+ minutes later the 1 trained person returned but she couldn't lift the trailer onto the hitch or make connections. I ended up paying $20 cash to a neighboring mechanic to help get the trailer properly hitched and connected. There was only 1 trailer at this location; it was fairly dirty inside and I had to clean in before loading. When I rent from the main UHaul facility at Hwy 30 & 41 in Schereville everything is always perfect. The 3 times I have been sent to some secondary location the experience has never been good.DAN M.
Your personnel at the return location was very helpful. She checked for the verbal agreement from Saturday on the 800 line with Trina and adjusted for the difference in mileage etc. THe truck was clean and presented us with no problems. Please work on your reservations and pick-up process. It is very stressful to not know for sure if ou arrangemnets are going to come together as planned or if you are going to be left without the transportation you planned to have. I really don't know if I could honestly recommend you to a friend without having doubts as to meeting thier needs.MARSHA M.

Extremely disappointed with Uhaul customer service. Uhaul did not have equipment at reserved location and did not fulfill the guarantee. Last minute notification by Uhaul that trailer was not available on day of reservation pickup, no advance notice. I personally had to drive 2hrs out of the way to pick up trailer, pay extra for added time for movers and gas. Uhaul rep also stated that $50 moneyback guarantee would be in the system and it was not! Will never use Uhaul again. To improve service for next customer: have equipment available at requested site or brought to customer. do not have customer drive 50mi in each direction to obtain equipment. provide stated refund "guarantee." provide adequate compensation. improve customer service so clients are not so unhappy. finally provide advance notice rather than day of service. keep customers in mind that moves require lots of advance planning and canceling/changing requests on day of service have a large financial impact on your client!HANNA S.
The man who helped me was very nice, but because the specific "U-Haul" person was not there, he a little lost on where the equipment was. They did not have the appliance dolly I had requested. They did however give me a utility dolly as a replacement. Nice gesture, but not the equipment I needed.Ashley Z.

I returned the rental after business hours so it was not checked in right away. I called the next day to verify that they received the rental and was told that it had been received and would be checked in as soon as the rental personnel arrived. Two days later I received 2 emails and and a text message stating that the rental had not been returned. It took two phone calls for the issue to be taken care of. Very dissatisfied with the Crown Point location and will not use them again.DAN M.

Dealer required me to unhook the trailer from my vehicle, which was a bit of a challenge, and they were unable to print out a copy of the receipt.JOHN D.
I had a rental set with locations on thursday uhaul called me and asked me to pick up the rental 2 days early and the changed my pickup location without telling me, then I was told to call when I arrived to my destination to set the drop off location, but I had to drive 45mins away when there was one less than a mile away from my house, all of this is unexcepable and none of the operators were willing to try to help me when all of these issues were caused by uhaul and not myself, the only good thing about the trip was the truck was new but that would never make up for all of the time wasted and inconvenience that the representatives cause for me during that stressful time, if you would like to contact me about this that would be great to try to resolve some of this issue otherwise this would be the last time I would use your companyERIC L.
