The name of this Location is incorrect. It is Luposello's Food Mart. None of the signage says Croton Food Mart. If you google it, you'll see.

Carlos LCouldn't access app features from my android phone. Luckily my sister had one. Returning van was not recorded and I had to make and receive several calls from customer service so it was a bit of a hassle. Wish there was a person to deal with...

Deborah CThe best customer service I ever received was the online over the phone experience with Tiffany, if it wasn't for her I wouldn't have been able complete my rental or pick up my furniture her patience, understanding, and walking me through entire application online. I am recommending her for the regional manager position of online services, possibly a trainee for future hiring.....
Angela WWith all due respect, this "phone-only" was difficult for a 75 year old man who had never done a QR sign-on. I would use U-Haul again for the vehicle but would go to a location with counter service
David BThe truck was fine, but the tire pressure monitor had a fault and kept telling me it was low. I bought my own tire pressure gauge and it said everyone was fine, so I continued to sue the van. The Uhaul APP is absolutely terrible. I had to call in 2 times to get it rented and 3 times to return it. I will avoid locations that do not have someone there to help rent a truck. I think you need to reconfigure the app. Also very expensive and the price changed over the courses of my renting the truck? I think I will have to think twice about Uhual have to rent a van again.
Matthew DThis location requires that you use the UPS app - there is no one onsite to help. I am very technically competent and still found the UPS app difficult to use. During the check-in process I was required to take a pic of my passport (who brings that with them?) or provide contact info for someone who could verify my identify - hard to do on an early Friday morning.

Dwight WI made an appointment to check out my van a half hour before closing time. Nobody was there to deal with me. They had taken it upon themselves to change it to an online check-out, which I totally did not want. Nobody in the store could help me. UHaul online could not help me. UHaul by phone could not help me. Finally, the man who has the franchise walked me through a process by phone and the persons working in the store gave me the key. Then came the returning of the van. It took about 2 hours. From 8:30 pm to about 10:30 pm. The UHaul app is garbage; it froze repeatedly after taking a picture of my dashboard fuel and odometer. Then I spoke to customer service. Then I had to speak to the truck department. She walked me through checking out on the website, rather than through the app. After several tries I got the info in. Then I needed her to tell me where to leave the key. There was no lockbox as she described, bu there were 3 numbered padlocked boxes. She walked us through opening the padlock. I have been opening padlocks with numbers since 1961, I know how to do it. This one was weirdly tricky. As we were locking the key in the the padlocked box, a man with no i.d. approached in the dark and said I could not leave the van in the lighted, striped area in froont of the gas station/convenience store. I would have been delighted to leave the van anywhere they wanted if any of the information had said where to leave it, or if there was signage saying where to leave your equipment after hours. No information given, no signage. IF YOU PAID ME, I WOULD NOT REPEAT THIS EXPERIENCE. The U-Haul app is garbage.

fadi eIt is no longer Croton Food Mart; there was no UHaul signage; gurl at counter told me "my English not good" when I asked why my 10 furniture blankets that I ordered and were essential to my purpose. My actual checkin was on the phone - tge girls phone - and your male representative was EXCELLENT. M
