Katherine H.Rental pricing was great, only disappointment was that we also rented a hand truck and when we got there to pick up the vehicle, there were no hand trucks available. The Sales Associate was great, very friendly and professional.

Trista T.Returned truck prior to the 10am deadlinr on Saturday. Office was supposed to be open at 9am, but at 9:50 it was still closed. Parked truck in back and left keys in drop box. Left msg. Would have been nice to get a call back acknowledging receipt of the truck.

David Q.I reserved a cargo van at this location online, but found the office to be closed, although it was listed as being open on this website. It took a while to get through the Self-Pick-Up process as I needed to upload several photos of the van showing the dents and scrapes on the outside as well as the dirt and debris on the inside. The van had not been cleaned after its last use; I also found the contract of the previous customer in the door pocket. Once I completed my business and returned the van, I found that the location had a note on the door requesting that vehicles be returned to the rear parking lot. I found that there isn't a walkway around the building to the front parking lot which is where I parked my car. Perhaps during business hours this is not an issue when a customer can walk through the office; otherwise walking around the block is nearly a half mile.

Brian G.The U-Haul rep at this location on in Port Charlotte was great and very helpful. However, our original reservation was in Bradenton, and it was only because U-Haul canceled my 12/7 reservation on the evening of 12/17 that we had to drive an extra hour to Port Charlotte to get a truck - and then another hour back to Sarasota to get a car trailer. This was a messy, unsatisfying experience with U-Haul, and we ended up being charged more than we were promised at the time of the reservation due to U-Haul changing the pick up locations.

Kathy P.UHaul's web site leaves a lot to be desired. Basically, it is very non user friendly. Does UHaul provide military/veteran discounts?? If so, how does the customer know and apply it to their costs? The entire contactless customer service sucks!!! IMO
