Have a clean truck inside the cab. The truck I picked up was dirty inside, tried mud was on the floor board on the drivers side. My shoes got very dirty. Also make sure the truck runs smoothly. That truck had trouble going forward and up a slight incline. It coughed and chugged all the time. I know I shook off a few pounds driving that truck. I had no problems towing the car trailer with my car on it.

Anthony T.I had to get a hotel room and spend the night due to this location closing at 3:00 pm I did not recieve the instructions to return early until the next morning. So when I went to return it they informed me I had to wait until 9:00 am. Which was a 2 hour wait they never told me I could do it on line. Then I got the email of early return. So I did it that way. But the draw back was trying to get the pictures to down load. So I had to call the main office in Springfield the rep was excellent and talked me through it. So all well that ends well.
david K.Have personnel on site at the drop off location. When the truck was dropped off, the driver was told to park it in an empty lot next door and use the key drop off slot. This does not allow the user to indicate the time of drop off.

Evert E.Stan was extremely helpful, and I like the convenience of the place being close to town. I felt like the dropoff lot was a little tight, but that is probably because I was dropping off the trailer in the dark.

When I returned the truck, the attendant told me there was no credit for returning the truck with more fuel. I believe both of these issues could be addressed quickly to assure customer service. We left the paperwork, keys, blankets and car dolly with the wife. I called the 1-800 number to report. Truck was finally checked in. No sign of the $20 credit that was to be applied.

Marcella B.This was my first time renting from U-haul and the clerk that checked out the equipment was rude. He did not explain the process at all and I was standing right next to him receiving text messages that were supposed to be letting me know I needed take pictures with my phone. That was never explained, nor was the check in process. I would recommend to pick up equipment from a different location and hope that the personnel would explain the process.
