The attendant at this location was not helpful when the Uhaul app failed to pick up my location for check-in. Instead, I was told, â€œIt's a holidayâ€ (it was Memorial Day), and, â€œcall 1-800-uhaul and they'll walk you through itâ€. When I called, the voice told me it would be 20-30 minutes of hold time, but no one picked up. I also tried the online chat, but only the bot responded, and the chat died. Your service needs improvement on all these issues.MARK G.
Location "manager" waited until I had completely disconnected from the trailer before poking his head out the door to tell me not to leave the trailer where it was.. Really, wait until it's disconnected before saying a word.. What a jerk...ADEN B.

I did all my reservations online so I didn't have to wait. I got on-site and got the truck checked out through the online site, showed the confirmation screen to the guy at the store and he told me I had to â€œwait my turnâ€. After waiting 45 min to get my keys they finally payed attention to what I was saying and gave me the keys. I missed my first appointment due to the wait. The truck, the truck was horrible. The entire passenger side was wrecked. The passenger side door barely worked. When I tried to take pictures of it for the pick up the guy told me not to, that â€œit was ok and that Uhaul knew about the damageâ€. The cab smelled horrible, smoke and body odor. If you have the chance to rent from Crossroads Auto Group in Statesville, DON'T!Jesse H.

Fire the partner and get a new dealer in the area. The owner is an extremely rude A$$ H@!& Treated me and my wife with complete disrespect for nothing more than not parking where he wanted us to even though we parked in the only available space that was not marked no parking. Next for yelling at me for walking into his store during working hours. The open sign was on. The door was unlocked and I was barley 1 step in when he yelled " Get Out Nobody comes in here! " There was no do not enter sign of any kind. I would NEVER go here again. NEVER recommend them or use UHaul again as long as he's the local dealer and I have been using you for over 25 years for all my moves. I have moved over 15 times for work and will have to probably 5 more times at least before I retire.Richard K.

The proprietor was not organized, the place was dirty, and the lot was disorganized. The first trailer was dirty and a tail light was out. I had to go back and get a second trailer which was clean and well maintained.Frank B.
The man helping us was so friendly and helpful. When I took the dolly back, he unhooked it for me and made sure I was good to leave. I would definitely drive here just to rent a U-haul, again, from him.Howard D.

Excellent customer service. Only recommendation I have would be to make sure trucks are delivered with what was requested (utility dollies with straps). Thankfully the person in charge gave us an extra dolly to make up for it.Leslie C.

There was no one at the location when I dropped off the trailer. I called the phone number listed on the door, with no answer. I followed the instructions taped to the door, but just leaving a trailer in the crowded lot was a bit unnerving... with no confirmation or acknowledgement of the return.Jon C.

We definitely need to talk about this truck rental. Please call me at 7044370887. I tried calling my local U-Haul several times and left messages. The check engine light was on when I picked truck up and I told the man. He came out to check codes but it was last truck and he sent me with it anyway. The light remained on the entire time and even sometimes blinked off and on. The engine missed and sputtered the whole time. It quit on us several times and even had trouble starting a few times. I tried calling repeated times to local office and 800 number. We was on a time crunch and did not have time to deal with this. I feel a refund is more than in order for this. Please call me ASAP at 7044370887 -- Normally I have not had problems with this location but this experience was very badLonnie B.
Mr. Sharpe over charged me. I started with86,448.4 and returned with 86,469.0. He charged me extra 38.8 miles he will not return my calls or come to the window for service. I took pictures of miles before and after.Nora S.

Better access, and visual sign information where customer entrance is to pickup vehicles. Other than that, my experience at the Davie Uhaul location was good, and without any problems. ChesterChester P.

The way y'all can improve is to not lie and hold the word integrity in high regards. I was quoted one price and when I brought the equipment back was charged a whole other price. To top it off, the guy Lee on Davie Ave in statesville hung the phone up on me when confronted about the bald face lie he told. Never againDavid L.
