Leslie TI hate to give an average rating because I’m unsure if this is the locations fault. Chose this location, got there Sunday and the App’s 24/7 mobile whatever it is wouldn’t work. Couldn’t get the lock box combo to get the key. After speaking with UHaul they sent us to another location 30 minutes away because they had the truck we needed (15 foot). We get there only to find out they have a 10 foot and a 26 foot. Not what we were told.

Roque RU-HAUL asked me to deliver/return my truck to a lot 40 mins away from my destination-there were several closer I guess this location needed that size. Return lot was in a sketchy location and was not manned. Lot had overgrown grass and some junk cars in it as well. To top it all off, I was even charged an additional $100 due to time it took to drop off vehicle. So, I basically helped U-Haul out and had to pay for it. Called to complain twice was told I would hear back and never heard back from a representative. I felt taken advantage of. SHAME ON U-HAUL. My first move I used Penske with no issue. Looks like they were a better deal.

Ryan CHad a very difficult time with the mobile app. There were 2 other clients trying to check in equipment and were having the same problems. I know this has nothing to do with this location, but I thought this information would be helpful. It was very frustrating after moving all day, then spending 30 minutes trying to check in the vehicle, only for that to be unsuccessful. Then get an email from the recovery team the following day saying you havent returned the vehicle. Then make another phone call to make sure everyone and just tech support is in the same loop.

Jennifer HI was signed up for a truck in Chelsea. I arrived at that location and had to call truck share. I waited for over an hour to get a person. They then told me a glitch in the system had occurred and I had to drove another hour the opposite way to get another truck. I don't think I would recommend.

We will be renting the truck again to move our belongings from storage once our new home is ready & we will 110% be calling Butch to rent his 26’ truck again in a week or two!! I HIGHLY recommend his location & services & will refer him to all of my family & friends!
HEATHER HLocation was a bit out of the way by the actual drop off was very simple so that was a good thing. Would recommend U Haul to a friend based on overall experience

JAMES TMaybe review the return process. This is a tedious exercise... and redundant. The attendant told me that after I checked in, he had to check behind me anyway. I saved $20 by checking in myself, but it seems redundant to do something twice. Just my opinion.
Michael SWhat an awful experience. First, I did not opt for insurance when I reserved a pickup truck. My auto policy covers pickup trucks. However, I was told that the insurance was mandatory, by the local vendor, which is not true according to Uhaul's website. Second, I was required to provide two references although they have all my credit card information, copy of lisence, et.. However, the worst part was the vendors attitude when I returned the truck (24 miles and 2 hours later). I brought in my receipt, but he said he didn't need it. So I asked if he could check the truck and give something to verify that it was returned as I found it. He didn't like this but followed me out to the truck, then he walked away and came back in a couple of minutes with a broom and began sweeping the back of the truck. I asked him if he could give me my receipt. He got nasty at this point implying that I was giving him a hard time, so I explained that the truck was filthy when I picked it up, and I just wanted my receipt. He ordered me to go wait in my car until he got around to it, at which time I told him to forget the receipt and that I would follow up with Uhaul. I am not happy!
michael bBecause he lied about how much fuel was in the truck when I picked it up their was 1/4 of a tank and he’s trying to say it was line between a qtr and a half

Michael SHave someone ANSWER customer service when the website is down. I could not scan to return my vehicle, and customer service didn't answer... They called me back about an hour later, and we got disconnected! Then I never got another call back.
RICHARD FDid not have what I want in my rental for me to use and you still charged me for them. No one at the place of business for me to even ask for any of the pads I wanted that I did not get.
Heather KI don't think there was any window washer fluid for me to use on the windows, but I may have not used the correct lever....I tried pulling the wiper lever toward me and did not get any fluid. The cup holder was broken and I did not realize this until I tried to use it. So things like this would be good to check out before renting them out.

Richard CThe UHaul app does not work for equipment return. Multiple attempts to upload a picture of the odometer & fuel gauge were unsuccessful. The same thing happened on a rental return in December 2021.

Brittaneyrose SMake the U-Haul app better. I tried to use it to return two recent rentals. However, had to give up because the pictures that had to be uploaded on return would not upload. Very frustrating!
LANCE RHuge cluster! The night before my pickup I receive a text from U-Haul saying my reserved 15’ truck from a location only a mile from me could not be used for a one-way move and a 20’ truck was available 25 miles out of town. I called the owner of the new location (Crossroads Automotive) and was told I could pickup either using the 24-hour app or wait until 0900 the next day to pickup. When I showed up the next day at 0900 no one was there. I waited over 45 minutes, then just decided to checkout the truck online. I then completed the online transaction but received no code for the key to the truck. I then called the 1-800 U-haul helpline but the person who answered could not help me and said I needed to just wait until the owner arrived. All I needed them to do was help me finish the transaction but they said they could not manage it from their end. Because of this, I had to wait another 45 minutes for the owner to show up at the store. The owner was very apologetic for being late and quickly completed the transaction and handed me the keys to the truck. Then when I drove off the truck wobbled so back on the road I had to return it so it could be repaired and I ended up having to rent another truck. This whole process took 3 hours of my time when it should have only taken less than 10 minutes. Very disappointed with U-Haul and the way they continue to jerk customers around at the last minute. Will probably think twice next time I need to rent a truck from U-haul or call a day or two prior to make sure this won’t happen again.
