The trailer lights went out about halfway through our trip. Luckily, I had a magnetic set of trailer lights in my truck that I could use to complete the trip.

The service was excellent. The owner is friendly and caring. As a first time driver of a Uhaul, he was patient and supportive with me. He answered all my questions. I would really recommend this location. He makes you feel like family.

The appliance dolly I reserved was given to another customer who booked after me because "it was a $900 rental." I had to drive to Lafayette to get one. I would love a rebate for my time, gas and frustration. I had to postpone my trip a day because I didn't want to drive all over with an empty trailer. I had him disconnect the trailer and picked it up the next day. Also the Uhaul website sent me to 412 7th St for pickup and that was a residence. I had to call Uhaul to get the correct location. When I went to return it in DeRidder, no one was there and no one answered the phone so I had to find and drive to another location. I have never before had a bad experience with Uhaul but this was awful from beginning to end.

If the contract says unit can be picked up at 7am then that is what I would expect. Not for the owner of the business to get there at 7am then do all kinds of other things while I am waiting. Finally about 7:15 to 7:20 come deal with me. Probably not very professional either for the owner to tell a customer that "a customer waiting on me is very aggravating".

NEVER RECEIVED UHAUL!!! Drove all the way from Houston, Tx to Abbeville, La to pick up uhaul and location never answered the phone, no one was at location. Called uhaul after hours of trying to reach Craig’s Auto and uhaul said someone took our uhaul the day before and returned it in Tx already!!!! And could not find us a replacement. Drove 300+ miles FOR NOTHING!!! Told us we need to reschedule another pick up!! This terrible terrible service deserves a free uhaul!!!!!!

Reserved my truck for the Lafayette, La location. My reservation was apparently moved to the Abbeville, LA location without any notification. Employees in Lafayette location were rude. Employee in Abbeville location was great.

Don't send me to other Uhaul locations that are closed before sending me here. Craig's was beyond excellent, Uhaul regional was absolutely abysmal.

OMG, Mr. Herbert’s services were outstanding!! He is truly a jewel to the area. If I had to rate his services, I would rate as 100%. Mr. Hebert went out of his way to make sure that I received the equipment that I needed! As I always say and know that God places people right where you need them!! Thank you once again! I will definitely use your services again.

Gentleman here helped right the wrong that the pick up location started. Pickup location did not tell me I needed to put gas in the empty truck that they rented to me. They also did not include my dolly.

First I rented the truck 5 miles from where I needed it. I get a text before I got to the facility that i had to drive 25 miles each way to pick up the Truck. I was charged for the extra miles when I didn't need to. The truck was out of gas. I barely made it to a gas station. Truck was filthy inside and out. When I brought the issues to the attendant he told "it is what is", rent it or not I don't care. "You don't have to use it". By this time I had already paid helpers and didn't have a choice. You would think a company like Uhaul would care more about their image and the integrity of there representatives.

Had a hard time understanding how the chains and light wire was dragging and arguing with me that it's my fault. I had to buy a new trailer light harness to have lights on the trailer.
