We had to call u-haul after reservation was changed twice, not by me. Showing up to find out that my reservation had changed to a location that no longer existed. Then to have to website send me to a shop that no longer rents u-hauls on the opposite side of town. To finally getting a person on the phone that helped us and getting us taken care of finally. But as for Covenant Tire, they were freaking awesome!! Thank you to them for making a crappy day turn out good.

July 11, 2021 I reserved a 6x12 trailer through the website to be picked up at 8:00 on 7/17. 7/16 I found I had time to pick it up that afternoon. I called the original location to learn my pick up site had been reassigned. The employee at the original location was very helpful and pleasant to work with. I then called the new location to learn they would not have the requested trailer until 11:00am 7/17. They changed me to a 5x8 trailer that was picked up at 3:36pm 7/16. I retuned the trailer at 5:00 7/17. What I leaned: 1. Your reservation can be reassigned at the convenience of U-Haul. 2. Never think people are just being kind when modifying reservations. I was naïve in thinking they were helping me out with the schedule since the earlier departure was vey helpful. Any time over 24 hours results in a 2nd day of charges. Also, review your contact and rate closely . I made the mistake of signing something I had not closely read. I was charged 3x the rate for moving pads when the reservation changed. Resolution: They reimbursed $50.00 due to the location change. The change in equipment resulted in me having to take a second vehicle which add to my moving expense. I will not say never but I will only rent from U-Haul again if I have no other reasonable option.

When I called to ask about returning the vehicle, the man said he had no record of my rental. He was rude and told me to call 1-800-uhaul before his manager got in the phone - he had record of my rental and was helpful but did not apologize for the rude and unaware/untrained employee

My bank card was charged the entire 2 day amount, but I returned the truck the same afternoon I picked it up and charges were only for 1 day so now I have to wait 3 - 5 business days in the middle of a move when cash is in short supply!! So are you going to refund interest on my money that you are holding?!? I bet that would change your practices if you had to do that for EVERYONE you held money on! When I check in and out at the counter with a live person that does not happen! I will NEVER use your mobile check in and out again which may cause me to rent from someone else. Signed angry and broke!! Thanks for nothing!

I got charged 22 extra dollars and no one can tell what it was for. I never got a receipt, and I had to turn around to get the furniture dolly because they did not put it in the truck.

I was ordered to return my rental 2 hours earlier than I had it reserved for. I was charged foe gas even though I put gas in the truck to leave ut with the same gas as when picked up. I reserved the truck for 8 hours to pick it up at 8:00 a.m. and got a text to return it at 2:00 pm which was only 6 hours.

The pickup experience was pleasant. The pickup location was changed but the new location was actually more convenient for me. The gentleman who called me to finalize the scheduling was very helpful. He answered my questions and explained some of the process to me. He took the time that he needed to make me feel at ease about it and I didn't get the feeling that he was in a rush to get me off the phone. The person who helped me at the location was also very plesant. The only negative for me was (since this was my very first time using U-haul) that I was not familiar with the process so I didn't know that I needed to do something to have the vehicle condition inspected before I left the lot. I didn't see the email which tells you to do it before leaving the pickup location until later on in the evening. Other than that, the experience was very pleasant and efficient.

My gas tank was not completely filled when I picked up the truck but I returned it with a full tank. I wish there had a been a way to get my 8 bucks back on that little extra gas I put in. Also, I recommend airfreshners. I put one in the pick up because the cab didn't smell pleasant.
