Hi there, Unfortunately we had a very negative experience with this location. We were told the day before that someone would be present for our pick up time of 9:30am. When we arrived, no one was present. After sending a message, I received a call from the manager stating he was on the way, because he had to drop someone off. He showed up 45 minutes after our pick up time, putting us very behind in schedule, and then harassed me based on my gender. He told me that he had a "man moving the blankets for us because I am a woman, and it wouldn't go as fast if I did it." An hour after our scheduled time, we still didn't have the keys. When my colleague and I pressed him for an ETA, he grew irritated, yelled at us, and told us he was not going to rent to us. I was able to calm him down, but I was very disappointed by how I was treated and the fact that we were more than an hour behind schedule. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I just don't want anyone else to have the same experience as I did.

My concern is that my contract said i had over half a tank of gas at the beginning but it was down to empty. I spent 70 filling it up. I don’t know if this is a glitch but please see if it can be fixed.

I felt like I was overcharged. The person at the U-haul location. I was supposed to pick up my truck was late to the appointment pickup. The U-haul truck I drove smelled like cigarettes.

I love working with the U-Haul on Alemeda and Victory. I realize that I will need to reserve a vehicle much more than a week in advance next year. with the Costless Car rental location in North Hollywood, they didn't open until 10:30 , yet I was scheduled to pick up the vehicle at 9! when I arrived the person returning at 8:30 was there not sure what to do. we called corporate, and that all worked out , but the person and I just had to transfer the key and vehicle very unofficially. It all worked out , but could have been a disaster as I had alot of people relying on me to be there on time. I love U-haul , I think the operation is very well done, but this sub-contractor was not the professional that I get with U-haul

I ordered a uhaul truck online and was able to reserve. When I got there this location did not have the truck I had ordered. Bad service and he made me upgrade for a greater price. I'll never reserve here again.

I received the vehicle with 65415 miles and not with 65401 as it is stated in the receipt. I demand a return. I’ve never had this issue with uhaul before and I’m surprised this is happening.

I will never rent from here again. The place was closed at my pickup time, had to wait 45 minutes for someone to arrive and then had to wait another 45 minutes until I was able to complete the rental process. Upon returning the vehicle, the place was closed yet again, even though during business hours. Terrible all around.

The person receiving the vehicle was on his cell phone the whole time that I interacted with. He directed me to park the 26-foot truck on the dirt area of the sidewalk, to be parked there overnight. I was concerned that the back latch had not lock and that the hand truck and unused pack of blankets were left there unsecured. This place was messy. There was no parking and was very inconvenient to drop off. But in order to save on money on the rental on my end, it was worth dropping it off. I would not go there myself to rent a vehicle though.

I called per instructions before delivering the uhaul back on time. I spoke with a man who told me "can you come by in 30 minutes and if Im not there put the key in the lock box." Of course when we arrived he was not there. It was as if he made sure not to be there when I arrived. I was hoping to speak with him before returning the vehicle. I will never rent a Uhaul again. Very dissatisfied.

The owner of this location was 20 minutes late. Then yelled at me and threatened me. You should revoke his contract. If you look at his reviews on Yelp he has a 1 star and it’s no wonder. He refused to give me the uhaul and I had to go somewhere else. He is aggressive and aggravated.

I requested a 9:30 am PU and then at the last minute it was changed to 10:30 am. The owner of the Rental place did not show up until 11:30 am and there was no way to check out the truck via the contactless app method as I requested.

This was not the location on my reservation. The truck was not available when booked. Three hours after I was supposed to pick it up (at a different location) I finally got it. Multiple calls and an awful experience. What is the point in the 24/7 option. Useless! I was even told management would call me before noon. They did not. When they did call, it was on their way out of the office, so when I called back, no answer. Then, no follow up call - even though the message said there would be. Also, when rear door failed, it was an hour and a half wait to get assistance. Had to fix it myself. Again, dreadful! Awful at every step.

The truck was extremely dirty and smelly. I had to wipe down everything and still couldn't get it clean. It smelled horrible. The windshield was almost blocked from bugs stuck on it. The back had trash in it.

The owner/manager of this store charged me erroneously, stating I had driven over 100 miles more than I had, and that I had kept the truck for an additional day. I will be posting a negative Yelp review and not using this owner's service again.

The vehicle had all check engine lights going off to change the oil, wiper fluid, tires, etc. I had to fill air in all 4 tires twice during the time I used it because it would drop all the way down to 15 psi. This place needs to have their vehicles serviced before renting them out. Also, returning the vehicle they had closed the gate, leaving nowhere safe to leave the vehicle and didn't answer any phone calls.

Not the usual UHaul garage that I would expect, looks more like repair yard. I was told that it is open until 4PM. I arrived in the location before 4PM but the office was closed. The most disappointing part is that the uHaul app is not working properly.

I have a split review. Most importantly- the truck I rented to move from California to Georgia was EXCELLENT!!! I felt safe and secure. The truck was well maintained and trustworthy. Because of this I will use and recommend Uhaul for many years to come. On a sadder note- The location where they had me pick the truck up was horrible. It was dirty, completely un equipped and the man who served me was rude, condescending and poorly informed. He literally said to me - “they just drop off the truck and I give it to you. It has nothing to do with me. “ I will never use or enter his lot again, and I will be a lot more careful which Uhaul shops I deal with in the future.

No patience! I needed help getting the truck off the side walk. He got really upset when asked employee to assist. After that he proceeded to help me get to the street by stopping ✋traffic and escort me out. Very rude 😒

Wanted (2) furniture Dollies but the location only had one. Owner offered me a utily dolly instead and I said no and didn't take it with me. Just got final bill and was charged $14 for it. I would like it removed from bill. Contract # 27763770 Thank you

They were 30 minutes late on giving me my truck, because they had to use it for dropping of a car being towed by it. So I waited on site for that extra 30. They had the gas at the wrong level on the form from what the actual truck had, and I couldn’t update it via the link because I had to wait so long for the truck, it expired and the guy wouldn’t send me another one. So I had to call and email uhaul and fill in the missing pictures. Not to mention absolutely ZERO regular cleaning at all, since I found trash in the truck, so that means my safety with Covid was at an all time high and I needed this truck, so I was stuck by your company. And to put the cherry on top, they had the truck set to kilometers, so when I went to turn it in, they thought I drove 20,000 miles because of the kilometers setting. I hated the pickup location, and it was outright disrespectful to have me go there.

There were many issues we had to deal with. The truck was very dirty to begin with. There was next to no fuel. I'm glad I got credited for it, when I filled up the tank, but it was still frustrating nonetheless. Worst of all there was a good amount of broken glass and debris in the back. This is tough as we were moving things and we didnt want them damaged. We were on a time crunch as well. All in all a very poor experience if I must say so myself.

They over charged me 10 + miles !!!! The contract had an incorrect amount of miles on it and I only knew this because I took a picture of the mileage right when I got in the car.

Although the truck was in good condition, they did not have the 12 furniture blankets that I ordered - I was forced to buy moving blankets at a hardware store. Additionally, the blankets were laying on the ground in the parking lot, potentially getting oil and dirt on the blankets I was using on delicate antique furniture.

The stores didn’t open until 11AM. My reservation was made for 10AM. Then UHaul canceled my reservation and had to wait another 30MIns. The lady rep was rude and hung up me!!

Originally booked a 10' truck at another more highly rated location that was opened until 9pm and had after hour key drop. My reservation was scheduled to return at 8PM. Uhaul bumped me to this location. It opened 15 minutes late. The truck bed was dirty like someone moved landscaping items. Gas was only at 1/8 tank. Upon return the location actually closed at 5PM AND no key drop. After 20 minutes on hold trying to contact Uhaul, I was advised to lock truck and leave key in wheel well, but would still consider me responsible if something happen to the truck. Other option was to leave truck but deliver key next day by noon since this location opened at 10AM. I arrived at 1145AM and it was closed. Far and away the worst experience I have ever had with Uhaul. Avoid at all cost!

I rented this van for a video production. We ended up needing a bigger truck, so I return the van within an hour. Yet we were charged $80, which seems ridiculously high. The last time the situation happened to us at U-Haul, there was no charge.

Truck was located in a dirty lot with what looked like abandoned cars. The small office in the back of the property was not open or manned. Had to wait 30 minutes for him to arrive. I did arrive before my reservation time but still unnerving to be stuck in this empty lot. The phone number on the sign was not answered and couldn't leave a message. He called me back on a different number. He was pleasant once he arrived but wouldn't go there again.

The pick up time was 3pm, no one on site when we arrived and no one answering the two numbers I kept calling. They weren't available until 6pm, then when I drove the car off the lot there was extremely low air tire pressure so I had to go BACK...the entire experience took up most of the day when it should have been a half hour at most.

I waited outside for an hour and a half for the owner of the location to show up with my keys. I originally chose the mobile/contactless pick-up option, however there was no "drop box" for the keys. I was instructed to go into the building to pick up my keys, however the location was closed. After getting in touch with UHaul over the phone, they were able to contact the owner and get him out to me. For this location, the option for mobile/contactless pick up should be removed. One of the UHaul employees I spoke to said there were previous issues with this location that he dealt with too. Overall, this location was disappointing.
