Terrible experience. If I ever need a UHaul again I'll make sure it's a corporate store and not an affiliate. First off the keys were not available at time of pick up and the business was closed for the holiday. Combination lock boxes were available but were unlocked and had no keys inside. The vehicle was left unlocked and no keys inside it. After calling UHaul directly and finding out another vehicle was possibly available, though uncertain, I checked the return box and found the keys were in the return box. We were able to salvage the day by retrieving the keys from the locked return box with a bent piece of wire found on the ground. Once in the vehicle I found it was nearly empty on fuel and there were dried bits of food in the cup holders. After returning the vehicle later I realized I had forgotten my gate opener. I called the business the next day and asked them to check, the clerk stated he checked and did not find it. I then went to the business, found the truck was unlocked and the opener was in plain sight as you opened the door. All around a very poor experience. Again use a corporate store for your rental.

I rented a trailer. The drop of spot we were assigned was a truck drop off location that was a locked gate at the end of a descend road. When we arrived to drop off the trailer there was what looked like a drug deal going on. I spent 45 minutes on the phone being sent to different people to figure out what to do. So no drop off was not a good experience.

Only issue I had was returning the trailer backto the same location. I had purchased a tractor in Tacome and lived 1 1/2 to 2 hours away.

The guy who hooked up the cargo trailer to my vehicle hooked up the chain in a way that I couldn't unhook it (an S-hook was stuck hard in a chain link). The chain was also loose, so it dragged along the pavement as I drove. I had to use a carabiner to keep it from dragging, since I was unable to unhook the chain.

The absolute worst experience I have ever had renting a truck. The business/gates were closed and I had received no instructions or texts on what to do. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with 2 different customer service agents that were able to help me. They both apologized and said that I should have been sent a text with information on how to do things. I was over an hour late to meet with people I had asked to help move. To make matters worst, there was someone inside the business' gates in a red pickup that was watching us struggle but offered no help. They sat inside the gate and watched us and then finally opened the gate and drive right past us without so much as an offer of help. I would never pick up a truck from this place again. Poor service.

Don't know if you have the ability to enhance the ability of smartphone reception. The only issue of any sort was not being able to log into the return after hours link. Other than that it was a perfect rental experience.

The check-in process was very easy and the person there was great to work with! The truck was ready to go when we got there. We returned the truck after hours and the drop off spot was dark and very muddy (it had been raining on and off all week). It was very difficult to see -- recommend lighting up the lot and maybe putting some gravel down in the parking area. Would highly recommend this place!

Don't have a problem with the location, I have a problem with billing! First, my quote was not $90, it was $65 as long as I returned it to the same location. Second, I returned it with the exact same amount of gas, but I still got charged. The app wouldn't allow my to move the line just before the half tank so I just figured that was the standard. I knew I would get charged for going more miles than was allotted, but won't make the mistake again of not saving the quote or using the app again! I'll make sure I'll get the word out.

Everything about my rental was good except for returning the truck. I returned it after hours and the mobile app would not work. When to took a photo, the app would not save the photo and returned me to the previous screen to start over. I tried everything I could think of and gave up after 20 minutes. I called the 800 U-haul phone number and waited 25 minutes on hold for someone to answer my call. The representative told me the problem was that I had too many apps open; I had only one app open and that was e-mail. He gave me very cryptic directions about taking a photo and sending it to him, which left me guessing if i was doing the right thing. When i told I had sent the photo, he hung up. Didn't verify that he had received the photo of the odometer and gas gauge. Just said I'd get my receipt by e-mail. It should not have taken 45 minutes to check in and it left me feeling that I would never again rent from U-haul. The truck was fine as was my check in, but trying to use the app was extraordinarily frustrating. I won't rent again from a location where I would have to use the app to return my rental.

Checking out the truck took over 30 minutes and I had to provide other contacts besides one like I might steal this or something. Also it was raining and the amount of pictures is overkill but understandable. I'd rather check out in person next time.

The charges were outrageous and unwarranted considering the online system would not let me proceed, then these folks overcharged me, and their management and customer service were even worse. The girl at headquarters told me they do not have a problem with their online system. I repeated my story three times only for this girl to tell me if I wanted to I could tell my story to yet another person. They are the absolute worst. Do not use them. Go anywhere else. I WILL NEVER EVER USE THEM AGAIN. You will thank me later.

They charged me over $20 for returning the truck early (after hours, when the truck wasn't due back til 1pm the next day. I was NOT warned of this charge before hand. Absolutely Ridiculous.
