Terrible. Spent 25 minutes as the clerk told me he could not rent to me. 6-8 phone calls later I got the rental. The return was the same. I received nothing when I left stating I had even returned the vehicle. I was also charged .99 cents per mile when the website clearly stated .79 cents per mile for this size vehicle.Thomas M.

We did the return by remote on our phone. When we finished, I asked the attendant for the key drop box and was told there was not one. So I left the key with her not knowing if that was correct.Debra B.

Nothing about this location looks like UHaul. It's a sketchy little shop that sells drug paraphernalia. The operator of the UHaul business was not even on the premises. My drop off information was not in their system.Eric W.

I really do not like the way UHaul does business now with contractors because it compromises their brand. The information the busines was giving me for dropoff was not the information I had received online when booking UHaul. The brand is suffering. I do not see myself using UHaul for a long time and I will be disputing the almost $85.00 extra you charged when I was supposed to have been credited $50.00 and given 20 extra miles because of the racist disposition that your other Uhaul location put me and my son through. And cancelled my reservation without ever contacting me. The rental would have been excellent but none of the blankets, dollies or hand trucks i ordered were at the location. Fortunately i had my own. However the online process was really easy and have already reccomended to several friends.Michael O.

no one would answer the phone their the truck was fifty dirty i was suprized that a uhaul was that dirty i see clean ones everywhere but truck served it purpose with no problems i would rent agin from u haul just not from this locationdaniel M.

This had less to do with this particular location and more to do with a misleading text I received telling me to go to a tow business in Rutledge instead of the location in Social circle I originally signed up for. At first I thought this was a great thing because it was located down the street from me. Unfortunately, this business did not exist. I ended up having to backtrack to where I already was to a small convenience store in Social Circle. After spending 30 minutes to talk to a Ubaul agent I was able to drop it off here. After I finished the checklist online the agent told me to do drop off the keys to the store clerk. Only to be yelled at to move the Uhaul to another location in the parking lot when I left the storefront. There was no signage and I parked it away from the building as requested in the Uhaul checklist. I also incurred a $8.00 mileage fee which wouldn't have happened if I didn't get the misleading text in the first place.Michael S.

My reservation pickup time was 9 am, as I had a scheduled pickup appointment at 11am at the Midwest Food Bank in Peachtree City. When I arrived at 9:05am I was having problems checking in with the app so I went inside. The clerk continued to make me wait while he took customers, he was unable check out the equipment and give me keys. I called 1-800-go-U-Haul. That's when we discovered the equipment that I was to lease was not on the ground. So they assigned me another truck on the lot. Now it's 10 o'clock, the store clerk run into another problem. The truck that U-Haul had assigned me, the clerk was unable to check it out on his side, so I had to place another call to customer service. The clerk continued to push me to the side and made feel that I wasn't a priority, We discover the problem was that the truck hadn't been checked in from the previous rental. That whole process took me another 45 mins for me to finally get the truck checked out. This made me very late for my 11am appointment in Peachtree City. I get the truck and determine it was on Empty so I had to stop for gas. I stopped at QuikTrip about 10 miles away only to get stranded for 3 hours and 45 mins! The truck wouldn't start and needed a jump. Please note that I was not in a rural area and there is no good reason it should have taken more than 30-45 mins. But after three promised roadside assignments I finally got a jumpstart. I'm sure my day could have been worst but this was a pretty bad experience. Plus the fact that I missed my appointment and now I don't have a truck and can't find one to pickup my rescheduled appointment for today. 😢SHERRY T.

The address which was given did not initially take me to the correct location. The address was used in the text message that was sent, therefore, there was no user error. When the location was finally found, the attendant as the store did not try to help nor listen to my concerns.Sade S.
I worked at a Uhaul location in Conyers Ga in the 90's and we ran a tight ship. The location is poorly maintained and the service was horrible. The lady who was running counter and store was high and smoking pot in the store. Boldly in front of me. Social Circle is going to be a booming area real soon. This location should lose their rights to service U-hauls. No one ever showed up to open the store. My husband sat outside this location for over THREE HOURS. We were on the phone off and on with uhaul, and finally an area manager came and cut a key for his truck. The uhaul rep, Andrea, was very helpful in compensating us for most of the truck fee. However, we had movers sitting at our house for hours waiting and still had to pay them. This was a complete disaster.David Z.

It's a very old gas station where people come into play video slots and buy lotto tickets. It's seedy and the guy behind the counter didn't know about the uhaul reservation and had to call his boss who came 15 minutes later.Jared T.
Pick-up scheduled for 7AM. Owner did not show up until 9:10AM. Poor English, difficult to understand. Very slow transaction. Location was not the one scheduled online. It was 21 miles from town, which lowered the available contract miles by 21 miles.William H.

The dealer could not explain why he was charging my account - unauthorized - $42.50. After receiving the invoice it stated it was for fuel. First of all I did not receive 1/4 of a tank to start with. Secondly 1/4 of a tank would be $20. There was no option to say you need to bring it back 1/4 full or we will charge you twice as much. This is total deception and clear fraud on uhaul. If you are desperate to have to use them then READ THE SMALL PRINT.MICHAEL P.

I rented a uhaul on line which would cost me 34.99. When I arrived at the location the person behind the counter charged me over a hundred dollars. I received a call from Uhaul. The person who called asked me did I return the truck? At the time I was taken off guard with the question. I rented the truck on a Sunday and returned the truck on a Monday around 3pm. The only issue I had was with the uhaul company itself. Not the pick up or drop off locations. I reserved a truck on a Monday for use the following Sunday and late Saturday night I was emailed a notice saying my truck was not available. Why??!!! I reserved it early in the week so I knew it would be there. Ohhhhh no! It wasn't and none of the uhaul representatives had an explanation. I will NEVER rent from uhaul again! I logged a complaint and NEVER got the courtesy of a response !Ariann S.

I had pre checked in online. The attendant took personal photos of my identification and credit card with her phone. She tried to charge me an additional 41.00 and stated it was for using the Internet. She called it an Internet charge. I refused to pay the phony charge. I'm now worried my identity may have been stolen.. She was in a face time conversation with another foreign person. She appears to be from India. I told her I shouldn't have been put through all this to simply pick up a truck that I had pre booked paid and pre checked in. She said she didn't care and made excuses about taking photos of my identification. She held me up for thirty minutes while talking to someone on and sharing my personal information with another stranger over her cell phone. She sent them screenshots of my account information and my identification and credit card. I'm monitoring the situation and preparing to press charges against this establishment. UHaul should open an investigation on this store immediately.Kenneth W.
AC did not work in truck. Steering over 45 mph was horrible. I only kept the truck because I had to move. If I went over 45 mph, the front end (steering) kept bouncing and was impossible to maintain my lane of travel. Thank God I was only moving locally and used local roads.Richard Y.
The items we ordered (blankets, appliance dolly, and furniture dolly} were not in truck. When we called attention about this to the operator, he told us he could not help us with that.. So, we had to complete the move without any of the above. The truck was a great vehicle, though.george P.
Do NOT select Corner Grocery as your drop-off location. The clerks were nice enough but had no idea how to check-in a truck. I was given the manager's cell phone number to complete the check-in; no answer but left voicemail... truck was finally checked in as LATE, even though I had returned it after only 5 hours into a 24 hour rental! My experience with U-Haul was great, but Corner Grocery was HORRIBLE! Fortunately, I had called the U-Haul support number shortly into the check-in process. I was charged a late fee that U-Haul refunded later.james L.
Over charged $158.79 for miles they said I went over when I had Two trucks and 2 trailers and they all went the same place but was told one went over 371 miles. Wells Fargo has disputed this chaege but has not been taken care of. Thanks Ronald FaglierRonald F.

First off, the key I was given wouldn't start the truck. The attendant had swapped the keys and given my key to another renter. Luckily they hadn't left yet (as their key did work either). There was a large desk and a dirty stained mattress left in the truck by a previous renter. I didn't realize it until I got to my house and had to drive back to the location. There was no one there to unload it so I had no choice but to pull around back and unload it myself at the dumpster. Pulling a soiled mattress of unknown origin is bad any time, but especially in the current situation. The windshield was covered in dust and pollen (typical for this area) but when I tried the washer the wiper blades were in very bad shape. It's a good thing it did not rain.Tony P.
