They could not raise the traiker hitch up high enough and tried to blame it on my hitch, but it was do to.their negligent that it was not able to be raised. They placed the trailer stand in sand. Had to get a car jack to raise to put on my hitch. ShadyByron S.
The man that did our pick up of truck and return was repeatedly rude and told us they were a mechanic shop. He continued to spread oil absorber in 2-3 locations even though he saw us standing by the truck where the sign said leave equipment here and stay with equipment. I have never had a problem prior in renting trucks and equipment. He also charged up for fuel even though we put gas in to bring it to where the fuel showed at pick up.Marcie M.
The GPS ping for this location was no where to be found. We walked around all over the property. We were at the right spot, literally looking and touching the U-Haul and buildings. I called customer support and talked with Jake Cooper for 53 minutes to manually figure this out. Absolutely ridiculous. Jake was helpful and clearly it was not his fault. But it shouldn't be that hard to find the GPS location. And yes, I know how to work my iPhone and my location settings where on and correct. This location needs a sign or something stating where exactly to stand for the GPS to be picked up, when the auto shop is closed. This delayed my pickup an hour and made me late to my pickup. After this hour and inconvenience nothing was even offered to compensate my time. I will not ever use a mobile pick up spot or recommend this option to anyone. Had to go to different location 22 miles from house because Hendersonville over booked and only was able to use truck for 3 hours. Associate was rude and wearing a gun at pick up location.robert C.

The mobile pickup procedure is horrible. I spent an hour and a half on the phone with U-Haul just to be able to pick up my truck that I had already reserved. The woman said she'd extend my hours of usage so that incident wouldn't eat up my usable time with the truck. I returned the truck using their online drop off procedures after driving 20 miles and having the truck for 4 hours. Two days later they're charging me for two days rental and over 140 miles of usage. As far as I'm concerned U-Haul is stealing from me. I'll be taking this story to my local news station. Billing ended up not being what I originally signed up online for. Maintained under the mileage I had guestimated and managed to be charged $32 more in hidden fees or should I say partially extra tax as well.Devin B.

I returned the equipment on February 21st at 11:q18 pm local time. They charged me almost 200$ Extra and dis not check equipment back in until February 28th. I am very disappointed with this. They must correct this mistake and send me correct invoice. I have took pictures to prove that I returned equipment in timely manner, at the same location, in clean and condition.Jay J.

The location is difficult to get to, and you have to drive up a narrow driveway through a gate to get to the office. There's not much room it maneuver a large truck up there. The man in the office was very nice though. Just a sketchy location.Lauren B.

The equipment was in terrible shape. A tire was almost flat. The truck did not have a headlight switch so I could not turn off the cargo light which killed the battery. I had to jump it twice. Not safe and should not have been in service but they had no other trucksJames B.
I did not realize until I reached my destination in Nashville and had loaded.m the furniture but the tailights and right blinker did not work. I looked and noticed one of wires was severed at the trailer. I did not have time to return as I had people meeting me in Birmingham to unload. I knew it took them a long time to hook up and at one point they telling me to switch how I had my lights turned (which I did) after a few more minutes of messing around one of the men walked by and said you're good to go so I left. They sent me off in a dangerous situation. When I returned in Birmingham I reported this to the lady receiving and said she could not believe they let me leave with the wiring like that. She said she would get her gut to reword before being put back on the road. I could have had an accident or gotten a ticket because of their negligence.Walter M.

i would not reccommend the uhaul storage location in Madison guaranteed rental and they tell me they need to cancel at pick up time and credit us $50 they didnt even credit us and the way the gentlemen talked to us will use penske before i ever use that location againAMEER S.

Gas was said to be full but was barley a little over 3/4 of a tank, brake light and turn turn signal out after being pulled over by the police and and blower for ac shut off multiple times during the day, sometimes 15 minutes until the ac would turn on, completely unacceptable in 95 degree weathe. First of all, the van smelled like a barn. Second of all, I rented the van from noon on Saturday to noon on Sunday. I pulled into the facility to return the van on Sunday at 12:02. The facility was closed so I was charged $90 extra because I was late. Keep in mind, the sticker on the office door said they were open until 4pm on Sunday but apparently the gate had a sign that said noon. The clerk I rented the van from did not mention anything about their closing deadline to me. I tried to get ahold of them to ask why I was charged $90 more since the van is only $19.99 per day and got no response. I've rented plenty of uhaul over the last 15+ years and this was the most ridiculous experience.ALEXANDER B.
