First of all, if they don't have the size truck you reserved and you have to upgrade them, don't increase the price. It's not the customers fault if you don't have what they reserved. We can't rent a truck anywhere else last minute and you take advantage of that. Also, I was charged double. I called uha and even the agent saw that I was charged double. I'm currently on hold waiting to talk to a customer service representative....43 minutes and counting. So no, I will not be using uhaul services again.TONYA S.

The location that was given to me for pick up and drop off was unacceptable. The man who gave me the keys was vulgar and didn't even have shoes on. The building itself looked like it was one strong breeze from falling over. Drop off instructions were unclear as well.YEVETTE M.

Manage demeanor was uncaring and he did not attach the trailer correctly. The trailer detached within 5 minutes of pulling away, thankfully no damaged occurred and I was able to re-attach securely.SANTIAGO L.

I reserved at the Kingwood TX location and when I went to pick up my trailer, I was told I had to go to another location in Homestead. What a dump. I would not even call that a U-Haul location, it was a used car lot. I was NEVER notified by U-Haul of the location change! When I picked up the trailer, I was charged without my authorization for insurance. I never take the insurance when I reserve and check-in. POOR, PATHETIC, DECEITFUL service.Eric K.
This was not the location that we had the reservation. We had driven very far to the reservation location only to be told there was no trailer available for us. What? We had a reservation. The original reservation location at I-10 and Shepherd in Houston rented out the trailer in spite our reservation. He Just said the reservation was moved and sent us driving another 40 minutes in the complete other direction. To say we were angry doesn't begin to cover it! We have nothing good to say about Uhaul and the reservation process! Once we finally got to Contemporary and got the rental it was fine. Getting there though was an absolute disaster!DAVID R.

I feel i need some kind of compensation. I almost caused an accident due to the lack of install from your uhaul rep. Please see the pictures he took. I can guarantee he didn't plug the lights in. I found out the hard way by someone flipping me off and yelling at me. Luckily my cousin who drives semi trucks inspected everything before i left houston. He notice it was not plugged in and mention this is why people where pissed off at me when i drove from the uhaul place to his house. Now imagine no one noticed this issue. I was driving 23hours from Houston TX to Las Vegas NV. Just because i didnt buy the offered insursnce, the guy was being rude and just seemed like he wanted me off his property. Look at my rental history Jhonpebz@yahoo.com. I rent from you guys all the time. I even rented from Alaska and drop off to Las Vegas and never had any issues. Only this time and i will not take it lightly due to the fact that peoples life was in danger.Johnny P.

This location is in a bad area. The truck was not clean, but more importantly not maintained. When we drive off the low pressure tire light went on. I had to take the truck to a service center to have the tires filled. He knew we were driving from Houston to Chicago.Melinda P.

The customer service rep that was there needs t b more attentive, he also got surprised because I wasn't going to bring back the car transport, which to me was kind of surprising since U-Haul works nationally, he kept repeating me that he just works there.Pedro C.
I was given the run around 2 hours ,the place was close they sent me to Mesa they didn't have the equipment. Keith brought it to us at the place we end up foing back to. It's bad service I will never rent from you all anymoreDenise J.
1) Guy never told me a price, just charged my card. And said he emailed my receipt to me. I never saw ANY paperwork. 2) It was pouring rain and the guy said you picked a terrible day to hook up a trailer, never offered to help, I had to flag down a different guy to help me hook the trailer to my truck.Crystal Y.
When I called in to U-haul, I spoke with an agent (who would not listen to me). My question was "Do you have a truck, available for pick-up, right now, at your Mesa Rd. location?" I then had to answer her "battering of questions" BEFORE she would respond (that is EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING) THEN....she made me "go ahead and make the reservation, and then I can tell you if you have something available" (AGAIN, HUGELY FRUSTRATING)....I complied with all of this "protocol" that she "had to follow" to be told that there was a truck at the Mesa Rd location, available for pickup from 1:15 to 7:15...and when we got there, there were NO TRUCKS available & the poor woman working there, had to call in to U-haul & explain that they keep sending people there, to that location & there are no trucks......Then the agent on the phone with the lady working at the location (Amber - agent, Ella - lady at the location, Saturday Sept 28th) kept asking the lady, Ms. Ella, do you have truck #1208? How about truck #----- etc.....I felt so sorry for the lady working at the location, having to be treated this way, in front of a full crowd of people in her store, that had been sent there & for NO REASON!!!!!!!! Ms. Ella ended up helping me find another location nearby that I was able to go to (where TWO reservations had been made, for the ONE truck that was ACTUALLY THERE) & I gave her a Hug - Not a fair trade, but I thought I would let you know how your VERY OWN workers (in the trenches) are treated by your phone center people & us customers as well.....The LAST thing you want to do, when your movers fall through, is be lead all over town by an incompetent call center employee, that is too stubborn to let go of their "script" & listen & think & actually provide some "customer service"....So, when you asked for how you may improve your service, I'm taking the opportunity to tell you.....Now, again, it's up to you, if you should actually "listen" and "do" something about it......I wish you well! Truly....and feel free to contact me....I don't mind helping further, so that no one else should have to go through that....Truly!Shirley T.

The whole pick up experience was extremely frustrating. We were under a time constraint as we had movers coming, the first location couldn't find the 20 foot we had reserved and verified, and sent us to this location. The employees here were rude and unhelpful, the location was filthy with roaches everywhere. They did not verify the contract with us or ask for signatures to verify what we would like, and the total came out to over 100 dollars to what was quoted to me originally.
