The U Haul app is very hard to navigate and getting help is much harder. If I had an option of another rental company I would stop using U Haul

Larry PClosed on a normal M-F/8-5 business day is pretty much a non-starter. Local phone was forwarded to a U-Haul location in Georgia, and they "confirmed" in-person processing and pickup not realizing I was calling from Illinois. The "Truck Share" app I was forced to use was an absolutely miserable experience for both check-out and check-in, *especially* since I supposedly had a registered account with U-Haul. It did not help that most of the action requests (photos) were outside in 32° weather. Cold fingers and tiny buttons on a tiny screen? Really? Unacceptable. Also, was stuck outside of a closed business being required to complete detailed information on the phone, again in the cold, before I was given the combination to the key safe to get into the truck and at least have a little bit of heat. Sadly, U-Haul is the only choice in our small community for local rentals, so there you go. There is another location in town, and my experience with them wasn't nearly as unpleasant, so despite the extra mileage charges to use their edge-of-town location, they'll be my first pick next time.

ROBERT SThe truck ran horrible, the door seal was falling down and the truck was not maintained at all.
Debra DIt was my first time using online pickup, so there was a learning curve—but this does not impact my rating. I ordered 2 dozen blankets and did not receive them. I was told on the app that I would have one truck, and when I opened the lock box it was a key to a different truck. So the whole process took 45 minutes, because I had to make multiple calls to sort things out, which seems to me far too long.
Jeremy MI liked how easy it was to turn in. I didn't need to have it open. I didn't know I could turn it in at anytime even if it was closed. I think you should let people know you can do that.
Jacquelin HThe facility is easy to access and they put it on the hitch for you. I am horrible at backing so was glad there was enough room to drive around and pull it where it needed to go. The facility staff were also helpful in getting the trailer off the hitch.

Dan GEverything was delivered as promised upon renting the truck. Very courteous and professional staff. The only disappointment I had was the website for the location showed they rent pickups and upon arrival at the rental counter the representative said they do not have pickups at this location. So I rented the smallest truck they have which was too large for my needs. Overall, a great experience and I will not hesitate to do business with them again.
Francis PBecause we picked up and returned our vehicle outside of office hours we had to use the U-Haul app. While it was fairly user-friendly, we were timed out at least once and had to start over. The app could use some fine-tuning, but otherwise our experience was great.

Marsha cWe rented trailers to move some stuff to southeast Georgia. It was cheaper to bring them back then to leave them in Georgia. The savings to bring them back was about $300, but the wear and tear of 800+ Of unnecessary miles. We will need to rent again to take more stuff down
