Uhaul was reserved for 2600-something, and with dolly and furniture pads. When it was picked up the main driver had to be switched. Not only did the price increase, but we were informed the location did not have furniture pads or dollys. We had to drive to another location and pay for furniture pads and a dolly

I have been charged three times buy uhaul causing my account to be overdrawn and I'm being told that there is nothing anyone can do about it. And the charges will fall off in 3 to 5 business days but it doesn't take that long for uhaul to take my money. I will never recommend this location.

No one there to help me in the middle of the day. The one I reserved wasn’t ready. Had to pay more for a bigger truck cause they couldn’t price match what I reserved. Truck ran ok at best. Would not recommend that truck on long distant moves.

I was charged $11 due to mileage that they said would be given to me due to me having to travel and extra 20 minutes to a different location. When returning the truck around 8:30, I could not find where to put the keys and called a help number. The representative did not know either and told me to hold onto the keys, leave the truck there and return keys in the morning when they open. The whole thing was very stressful after a already hard day and the following morning, I received a call from the manager of the location and she said I would be charged another day or rental due to not returning the keys and inflicting with someone else's rental. I should not be charged nor do I think the customer service is at all good.

We've used this location to rent trucks for a while now. We've never had any problems. A different lady was at the front desk than usual. She made picking up this truck very difficult, and she was very rude. Not going back.

My U-Haul contract number is 94902279. Picking up the truck was efficient and without any problems. I picked up the U-Haul truck on July 9, 2023 at 6:00 pm after the business was closed, but was able to retrieve the truck key from the lockbox and upload all the necessary photos before leaving the lot. However, I had a problem when I dropped off the U-Haul truck at Compass Self Storage located at 4365 Commerce Drive, Buford, GA 30518 (merchant id: 4445066321646). I dropped off the truck on July 12, 2023 around 5:30 pm after Compass Self Storage office was closed. When I received the U-Haul receipt on July 13, 2023, Compass Self Storage charged me an additional fee of $55.32. According to their receipt, I dropped off the truck on July 13, 2023 at 10:38 am, which is completely wrong and impossible. I was at an orientation on July 13, 2023 from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, but Compass Self Storage charge me $40 for an additional day. I also had placed more fuel in the truck the night of its return, but Compass Self Storage charged me for 2 gallons of gas totalling $10.32. I called Compass Self Storage on July 14, 2023 at 10:30 am to dispute the chages. The person at Compass Self Storage stated that they can not do refunds and that I will have to call 1-800-U-Haul. What I am complaining about, aside from the fraudulent charges, is that Compass Self Storage can CHARGE MY CREDIT without any problems, but I, the customer, am unable to get a REFUND from Compass Self Storage. This required me to call the U-Haul customer service phone number and explain the situation as I am doing here. They started the process to get my refund, but that it would take up to 3 business days. So, what U-Haul can do to improve the experience for the next customer is to hold these local U-Haul subsidiaries accountable to be able to do refunds for customers and do away with the unnecessary refund process that is apparently the current standard operating procedure. This makes me think twice before using U-Haul in the future. Not a happy customer, Mark

1) Upon arriving at the chosen drop off, 1325 Buford Hwy STE 105, Buford, GA 30518, there were no signs of UHaul at all. STE 105 was an out of business Dry cleaner, there was no slot in the door, no Uhaul post to get keys, etc. They weren't just closed, they were out of business. That should be removed from the app and the web site. 2) The drop off can't be changed in the app, so I had to call and wait 10 min in the hot parking lot - 92 degrees! Person was very helpful though. I had to explain to two separate people that it wasn't just closed, but out of business. No slot. No Uhaul. They were very nice and helpful though. 3) Was directed to Compass Self Storage. Nice place, appeared neat, clean and professional. 4) Overall, this Uhaul experience has been Poor (1 star), and it's all about quality of locations. Pick up in the back woods of the back woods, and a non-existent drop off location. Please send someone out out to do some quality checks on your locations. This sucked. The one star is is for your wonderful phone people only.

The day I went to pick up the truck the entire Uhaul system was down ... it took me an hour via the online app and multiple calls to Uhaul to finally get the truck rental. When I did, NONE of the equipment I selected was available at this location and I had to drive to a second location to get equipment. Why does Uhaul allow a customer to select what equipment they need with no mention on whether or not a specific location has the equipment?!

After hours dropoff was made difficult by a lack of signage or a suitable lockbox. I was forced to make the best I could of the situation by following a self storage customer through the gate and parking in a truck storage space and leaving the key in an unsecured mailbox. It was the best option I had. I called U-Haul to inform but it didn’t feel great to have to figure it out myself after a multi-day move by myself.

Customer service was excellent, however the truck was beat up and in need of some service and repairs. Rough idle and at one point thought it was going to stall out. Drivers side arm rest is broken/missing and the A/C worked intermittently and it was in the 80’s so I was soaking in sweat. I had picked up the truck at closing and drove it a short distance home, so these items weren’t noticed until I drove it the following day.

We had to call Customer Service in order to get the lock box code. The key in the lock box did not match the truck that UHaul directed us to. We had to wait till they opened for 2 hours to have someone assist. We were promised compensation by the employee at this location but when I followed up another employee told me I had to contact UHaul for compensation. I do not recommend this facility for UHaul rentals.

Not sure if it's the location's fault that the truck I rented broke down before I finished moving my things. I reported the breakdown to 1800GOUhaul, however Uhau is claiming to not have a record of the call and have billed me erroneous charges that are not valid based on the circumstances surrounding the truck's breakdown. I am not pleased with Uhaul's service and the fact that you knowingly rented a truck that clearly needed repairs. This is totally unacceptable. I should have read all the negative reviews before renting a truck from Uhaul

Location is a little hard to find, as GPS sends you past the actual building to go behind another building. The personnel were very helpful & friendly. They didn't have the equipment that I had requested, but went out of their way to get me everything I needed for my move.

There were no specific instructions on after hours drop off of a truck. We had to figure out where to park and search around until we figured out where to leave the key. Plus, their gate to the storage area was either broken or permanently open, so it was confusing.

My problem wasn't with Compass but with U-Haul. The truck I had reserved over a month before wasn't available, and there were no alternatives. I was on hold for over 30 minutes before talking to a customer service rep, who transferred me to Traffic, who wasn't there and I ended up back in the Customer Service loop for another 20 minutes. I went to an official U-Haul store, and they were helpful in getting me connected to Traffic. Unfortunately, they did not have any available trucks of any size within 80 miles of my home. I ended up delaying a day to pick up the truck, which cost me $50 to change my flight. I understand things happen but your customer services setup needs improvement. Please fix it.
