There was not a lot of room to return the moving van and car hauler, but I was able to make it work. Signage may have helped as I drove to the wrong side of the location first... But overall, not bad

I press registered and paid on line but still had to pay at the location. Wasted my time preregistering. One would think U-haul would have all personal data on file and not have to take copy of license since I have rented several times in the past.

I was charged $10 for pads not returned. I called and left msg on Sun that I was unwrapping the paintings and would return the 10 pads. No one returned my call. So I don't want to be charged for those. Pads to be returned on Wed Jul 15

The pick up interior was disgustingly dirty. Dash was full of dirt. Console full of dirt and grime, and drink holders sticky with spilled beverages and who knows What else. Not cool during Covid. The bed of the pickup had a nice thick layer of sand, rocks and dirt. Manager advised at the time I rented that they had “tried to clean it and pressure wash it” but that could not have been true, as the debris literally could have been swept out with a broom it was so thick and loose. Gas tank was only a quarter tank full making it necessary to put gas in to do the task I needed to do before even getting started. Process was smooth enough and manager pleasant. Equipment not what I expected from my experience with UHaul. Find another outlet to do business with.

I was charged for fuel. I was told that I needed to bring the van back with the same amount of fuel and that I would only be charged a mileage rate. I brought the van back with more fuel than I was given at rental. I would appreciate a response.

The straps on the car transport where too small for my vehicle. I had to use my own. The drop off location U-Haul personnel was not available when I got there. I had to leave the equipment with someone else. The U-Haul 1800 support is pitiful. On hold forever then I got redirected to a vm system that I am Not sure worked properly. After drop off I get a call/vm next dAy to drop off at another location. Geeze.

The van was extremely dirty. There was molded food in the back and hair all over the cup holders and side doors. This was alarming given the state of covid-19 - I would expect things to be much cleaner.

U-Haul had my online reservation totally screwed up and when I got to location the gentleman luckily had a truck to accommodate me. He was great but the computer reservation made online was an extreme hassle. There was an odor in the truck and upon examination I found an ashtray full of cigarettes ashes and butts. I immediately notified the location where I got truck and while they assured me there would be no charges or penalties to me, they never once offered any apology, replacement truck, or discount compensation. They had me picking up a truck in SanDiego with a next day drop off in Sarasota FL. It is absolutely absurd and no way possible to travel 3500 miles in that timeframe. It was pure luck the location had a truck at all. I really am disappointed and only used this location and U-Haul because I had a great experience with them four years ago when I moved. I really am considering disputing the charges on my credit card. I also asked for a receipt at drop off and was refused one and told I would get one via email. I am going to give you the opportunity to address this in 24 hours and after that I am placing this on YELP. Next time I will use Penske or some other service.

had called prior to arriving and was told I could leave my truck for the three additional days I paid for while I closed on my house. Upon arriving the attendant said I could not leave my truck there . I had to beg him to call there other site to see if I could store the loaded truck. They said ok but did not tell me I had to pay $50 additional.

The online reservation site is lousy. Call the individual dealer before you sign up to reserve a vehicle online because you may get to the dealer and find out they have no vehicle matching that description. It took me 3 attempts to make a reservation. When I reached the dealer, the truck that was "guaranteed" was not on hand. I accepted a reasonable facsimile. None of the information I had given, including the scan of my drivers license were available to the dealer.

The guy at the desk had zero personality. He asked for my driver license, I told him that my friend would be driving the truck. He said he didn't care. We then proceeded out to the Uhaul to inspect it, he remained sitting. We noticed damage that wasn't marked and asked him about it. He gave us a handful of stickers and said mark them. The original man that I placed my reservation with, couldn't have been nicer. Very knowledgeable and courteous.

Dave & Chris were awesome. Chris emailed me to confirm I meant to select midnight pickup time. Which I did not...I intended to select noon, he was able to correct it for me. Dave made the pick-up/drop-off process very efficient. Felt safe leaving my car in the compass parking lot. Highly recommend this location & team.
