Fast, smooth, and easy process.

U-Haul telephone customer service was ABYSMAL and the initial person who “helped†me was unkind, did not listen, and was unbelievably rude and condescending. In the end, I was transferred to a supervisor who was kind and helpful, but an hour of my time was wasted and an immeasurable amount of stress was added.

Lisa H.This comment is not for my drop off location. It's for my overall experience. My rental was for one location and I was informed the evening before my pickup at 7:25pm, that I would have to travel 20 miles to pickup my rental at another location. This was very inconvenient and costly because I already had helpers for a certain time and I had to pay them extra because this threw their schedule back. Your customer service dept was a joke! They put me on hold for over 30 minutes and never came back to the phone, I guess it was because by that time it was after 8pm!! I HOPE I WILL NEVER NEED TO USE YOU AGAIN!!!

OLGUITA M.Customer service was subpar. I understand that rentals are not mine indefinitely but let's be human. I fir reasons out of my control I cannot unload and get truck back with next day. And I said it would be returned on Tuesday. Why the threats of reporting van stolen. That was not necessary and basically put a stub in our relationship with Uhaul. I have been a loyal customer for over 15 yrs and never have I or my son been treated in this manner at the Compass Storage at 1455 Sigman Rd. Very unprofessional there.

KORISA P.I reserved a truck for 2 days and told U-Haul I may need it for 3. I was told the truck was available. Upon arrival at U-Haul store as I was about to pay I was told on a Friday afternoon I could only keep the truck 1 day. I had 4 movers scheduled to be at location the next morning. I had to cancel my 4 workers because I could not keep the truck more than 1 day. Because of this I will have to leave many possessions and not take them with me for the move. I am 65 year old woman who has had to do any packing myself because I had to cancel my workers. I will like not use U-Haul in the future.

Marleen A.The front office was helpful and went over the process with me. The online process was repetitive and I felt for the “online check in†I had to do the same thing over again 3 times. The Uhaul was relative clean ,but there were many dents all over and had low tire pressure. It made me worry that they could easily charge me for the old damages. Feel there should be a better process to acknowledge previous damage and better upkeep of the vehicles

Wayland J.Horrible experience. I made a reservation through UHAUL and when I went to get my truck I was informed there were no trucks anywhere in my area. I received no phone call or contact advising there would not be a truck available. Another truck was located an hour away so I went down to pick it up the next day. Well, they should have changed my rental to a one way when they did the change but they did not. So I rented the truck, drove an hour back to load and move to my new house another 20 miles away. Took the truck back and was charged a one way fee. Customer service was absolutely unhelpful, arrogant and full of it and would not accommodate me in any way even though the reason for the one way was due to their not following through with my original reservation. Moving is a pain and I don't do it often but UHAUL made the experience that much more stressful with their horrendous no customer service. I cannot recommend to stay away strongly enough. Negative five stars.
Timothy V.They were great. However, their affiliation with U-Haul was different. They said they did not participate in the free one-month of storage that came with my rental. However, I have not needed that to date.

Sherrie T.Setup a backup option for when mobile pickup system is not time. functioning. I kept getting an error message that my location couldn't be found when I was inside the uHaul location with my cellphone location on. It took almost 30 minutes to get checked in which eat into my reservation time.

Mack J.It's better if doing the self checkout that you show the gas gauge better. I returned the truck at what I thought was displayed when I got the truck and ended up having to still pay because it was displayed differently when I returned it.
